Welding Skills Workshop

Welding skills workshop is the best school I have ever been to. Randy and Chris are very educated, highly talented instructors who take pride in seeing their students succeed and will take you to the highest level of skills in a short time. Everything is hands on, one on one training and you’re guaranteed to get a job as soon as soon as you’re certified. Chiqui and Elaine are awesome up front and can set you up with whatever program you want to sign up for. I will definitely be back for more certs. Thank you Welding Skills!

Hands down the most interactive welding skills program in the state, really hands on at all times, it’s great having your own work space in cubical and feels and promotes a good beginning to the type welding work ability that your going to get your self in. The staff is all top notched educated in all welds and machinery. They take the time and show the process hands on until you achieve your goals as welder and you certified. I am most definitely going to take more courses in achieving different welding and machinery to accommodate my journey…

Just completed my initial 16 hour training for MIG. Really happy with the experience. Going to do the 40 hour TIG training and get a job. Having Randy and Chris watch and give immediate feedback really helped me improve the quality of my welds. Everyone working here is nice and supportive and I feel confident with my skills. Definitely recommend.
A few words about the instructors. Both Randy and Chris are very personable. Randy is the owner. They are very experienced and knowledgeable. The teaching style is straightforward and no-​nonsense, they offer plenty of positive feedback when you do it well. Like another reviewer mentioned, these guys really enjoying seeing you succeed. I think that the attitude can be just as important is the skills, and these guys are great models for both.

These guys are awesome! Chris and randy are very one on one and devote a lot of time in catering to each individual’s needs and skills. I highly recommend them if you are interested in getting certified.

A welding skills workshop for both young and old individual in gaining more knowledge, ability and experience in which is more valuable to what you pay. During my time at the welding skills workshop in Rancho Cucamonga I learned a great deal. Not only did I reach my goal of obtaining my structural welding certificate but my expectations were exceeded. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in many ways. The rest of the staff was a pleasure to work with, very down-​to-​earth people. The classes and training program was well thought out making it a recipe for success! The school was well organize and Equipment was in great condition. I enjoyed every aspect of my time. I have plans to obtain my pipe welding certificate so I will without a doubt be returning to the school! Thank you Randy, Chris, Chiqui and Elaine for everything!

This school is phenomenal! They accommodate towards a busy working schedule as well a full time at home life. Welding skills is much recommended for any person that has interest in the field of welding. You will be challenged, however the instructors give hands on instruction and are knowledgable with any questions you have. The staff is personable yet professional. One have a great time at this school.

I recently just got done with welding program here. First and foremost the staff here was very helpful and accommodating. I was working full time and was able to do both. If you really want to know how to weld this is the place to be. I would highly recommend this school.

My son recently got his certification here. And we believe this was the best place for what he needed/​received. Well worth the price of tuition and well worth our relocation here.
I was so impressed with the attention we received. From my first call, I was connected to Randy (instructor) who explained everything from what the school had to offer to airport/​hotels information. Chiqui (secretary) always had time for my calls and emails when trying to set up dates and costs. She went out of her way to explain everything.
Elaine was just as generous with her time and always thought to include me.
Chris and Mike equally helpful while attending school. They provided the one on one attention unlike no other.
Everyone there made this educational endeavor a very positive experience. Will send my son back if more technical training needed. Each and everyone of them took care of us like ohana (family). We are truly thankful.

I drove down from San Francisco to get a 3G and 4g stick welding cert. Randy and Chris got me thru in 2 weeks. I can’t thank you guys enough! I felt like Elaine and the whole staff treated me like family. Thank you.

Randy and Chris were instructors for my husband in SMAW 3G and 4G. Loved the course and the guys were very down to earth and knowledgeable.
1 on 1 training is the best way to learn.
If there is ever a need in the future for more certifications this will be the place to return to!
Also, gotta love the shop dog Ruby!

This place is awesome! Randy and Chris provide great instruction and are generally cool ass dudes! Anything you want to learn or know about welding, this is the place for you. It is an excellent school that provides all the instruction and equipment for success. If you’re in need of certification or just want to learn how to weld, you should definitely check this place out. I cannot speak highly enough about them

Wow, what a great place to learn welding. I have not ever welded before I came to the school, but within a little over a week I passed my 3G Vertical welding test. and a few more lessons I passed my 4G cert. for stick welding. You get one on one instruction and a detailed explanation why you do each procedure. Lots of welding time in your own booth. I cannot say enough on how cool and friendly they are. Also, they have great BBQs.

I tested here a few years ago for aws d1.1 flux core
I took the practice test and then the practical and received my certification.
(Randy helped me step by step through the entire process on my practice test and gave me some pointers that made a tremendous difference)
I now am prepping for my 2″ carbon steel 6g pipe test all tig.
Last week I called Randy and they were happy to custom tailor a one on one class for me. Yesterday I went to the Welding Skills Workshop and once again they helped me through some techniques I was really struggling with. I strongly recommend this school to anyone at any skill level I guarantee you will be glad you did. Thanks again you guys.
