Cassidy’s Auto Lube

From my experience, a better option for a quick oil change place than other joints in town that are similar. Price wise it’s about the same as Jiffy lube but you won’t get as much sales pitch crap of services.

I get my oil changed here and only that. They do an oil change in about 20 minutes, depending on how many customers are in front of you. The longest I’ve waited was about 40 minutes, which is no big deal for me, but for some can be troublesome. For $ 37 and some change they do an oil change, check fluids, fill them if they’re low, tire pressure and some other things. That’s all I remeber from the top of my head.
Three stars is only for the oil change. I’ve been told many times that there are problems with my car, for example, they tell me my transmission fluid needs to be changed all the time. I’ve had it checked and have been told it is fine. I was told I had leaky valves and then told by my mechanic that there is nothing wrong with my car. In my opinion, they want the business and being a woman, I get the feeling that they think I know nothing about my car.
If you need an oil change, get it done here. Anything else, I don’t trust them.

I went to Cassidy’s this morning to get an oil change and replace a fuel filter. My F250 did not have any issues previous to this visit. I waited 15 – 20 minutes for the technician to finish, paid my bill in the office, and headed out. As soon as I pulled onto Lake blvd it started surging, knocking, rpm’s were super high, and it completely died in the driveway next door at the ampm gas station. I called Cassidy’s to come take a look, the gentleman that came over was defensive right off the bat. He looked at it for a few moments and said he didn’t know what was wrong and to «figure it out». He ran back to his garage without another word. I called the office back and asked to talk to the owner and all they told me was I’d have to wait until he could call me. The owner John finally called me back (while I’m still broke down at ampm). The only thing that he would talk about is how «this doesn’t happen» and he also kept giggling over the phone, I think I missed the joke… anyway, my whole day was wasted trying to figure out what happened, and waiting for a tow truck. Cassidys auto lube was one of the most frustrating experiences. I was in tears. Now my truck is immobile and awaiting for a diagnostic test. Wish I was one of the lucky five star reviewers, but I don’t think I’ll even entertain the thought of a second visit.

It has been a long time since I got my last oil change (though I don’t drive much either). Had a great repeat visit and just thought I’d say so! This time I came in on a late Friday afternoon, so there were a few others here waiting for their cars. The full service oil change took somewhere between 15 – 20 minutes, so it was still pretty darn fast! Same rates as last time too.

Super fast and courteous service. Great prices too. $ 35 for oil change and fluid check.

I’ve been taking my cars here for oil service for many years, ever since a local Jiffy Lube tried to put oil in my automatic transmission and ATF in my crankcase. I might not have caught Jiffy Lube’s mistake, except for seeing the «technician» asking for a tiny funnel to fill the crankcase through the dipstick tube.
In stunning contrast, Cassidy’s has always been competent, quick, and pleasant. When I first serviced my current car they asked whether I was sure that I wanted a synthetic blend oil, explaining that it’s an unnecessary extra expense for most cars. Most shops would just tuck the extra money into the drawer, but these guys were looking out for me. I still go with the blend because the owner’s manual recommends it, but I appreciate Cassidy’s integrity.
I’m headed back today, and happy to do it.

This place is where you go for a hassle free fast oil change! No bull. No trying to convince you you need some sort of flush or additive. This guy is always so happy here… I mean it’s 100+ degrees out today and he’s in a great mood! Great place!

This place is great! They fixed my noisy Mustang for a nominal fee, they did not try to sell me anything i didn’t need. They were quick and efficient.
I used to go to Ford on Cypress for my Mustang maintenance, they are pricier & not nearly as welcoming as Cassidy’s.
I don’t think I will bother going to any other tune up place in town, finally found a good one!

I have never had cause to complain about any aspect of the business. The technicians are efficient and knowledgable, and even on busy days the wait time is rarely extended. It has been my experience that the owner, John Cassidy, takes the time to get to know regular customers personally, ensuring the highest levels of customer service. I have taken brand new, and twenty-​five year old vehicles here, and received the same excellent service. Given a choice, there is nowhere else I would rather go.

I’ve been going there since we moved to Redding, a year ago. They are really fast, polite, and the prices are what I would expect based on the cost where we used to live. I highly recommend them.

I have been going to Cassidy’s Auto Lube for many years. Their customer service is superb! The desk clerks are always friendly and Mr. Cassidy and his crew are extremely thorough. He has even donated gift certificates to community fundraising. I highly recommend them.

I have been to Jiffy lube and they lie and have even put too much oil in my car. I took my car hear this time and I wasn’t preasured into buying anything and all the leaks that Jiffy claimed I had some how disappeard. I will take my cars here from now on.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The owner has no regard for peoples feelings and lets his employees be very rude to customers. I will never be back here again.
