Papa Murphy’s

I bought some pizzas here thinking every Papa Murphy’s makes the same good pizza at a good price. Well the price part was correct but the pizza at this location was not like other Papa Murphy’s I had gone to before. The pizzas looked pretty much the same but the taste was not right. The dough was gummy, the sauces didn’t taste right and the cheese lacked flavor. I was very disappointed. I had just bought pizzas from the location on East Cypress the week before for a different gathering and those pizzas were excellent. Makes me wonder if this is a privately owned location were they are using inferior ingredients to save pennies. Step it up folks. BTW I gave 3 stars because the young lady at the counter was fast, courteous and friendly.

Picked up a chicken artichoke pizza. They were very friendly and fast. Good price too.

We have been getting our take n bake pizzas here since they opened. We have yet to be disappointed. Darn decent pizza for the price and convenience.

This location is actually a «Take and Bake.» I was disappointed having just moved into my house and have yet to find my cooking utensils. Life Lesson #29,402: Never take a hot pizza out of the oven with only a knife and your bare hands. But that’s another story.
The ingredients (toppings) were good and fresh, but the sauce lacked flavor and sweetness while the crust tasted like cardboard. I’m sorry, but I’m telling you the truth. I don’t usually scrape the topping off the crust, but I did this time.
My new motto: If you don’t see someone hand tossing the pizza crust, it ain’t gonna be good.

We live close to this restaurant and visit it often, so some of the employees recognize us when we visit. One in particular (and young, too!) always goes above and beyond to comment on how our pizza was last time, or to make suggestions in a «we’re buddies» way, not a «hey, try this because I’m supposed to upsell» kind of way.
It’s a friendly place, and the pizza is always fantastic. I hope they keep up the good work!
