From the Hearth is a locally owned bakery and café in Redding, California that specializes in sourdough bread, espresso beverages, and freshly made sandwiches and salads. Our drive thru location features quick and easy hot, iced, and blended drink options as well as pastries baked and delivered fresh every morning. We also feature breakfast sandwiches/burritos, and sandwich, wrap, and salad options that are made fresh and delivered every morning. We also run a gas station that donates a percentage of profits to local charities.
History
Established in 2010.
From the Hearth originally began as a small artisan sourdough bakery in Redding, California. As love for our sourdough and other specialty breads grew, our owners set to work on opening the first of our cafes in April of 2010. Their dream was to bring fresh, quality, made from scratch dining options to the Redding community. Since then we have worked hard to maintain high quality food and drink options, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, pastries, coffee, tea, smoothies, and offer a relaxing friendly atmosphere for our customers. Our growth has been outstanding since then, with two café locations in Redding (a third on the way, a drive thru with all our coffee, pastries, and to-go sandwiches and salads, as well as a full café in Red Bluff, CA. We are always working to find new ways to revitalize and grow the culinary culture in Northern California and beyond.

Spencer Tang, John Dix, and Jonah Mills are the owners of From the Hearth Café and Bakery. Each has called Northern California home for over a decade. Their passion is to see the people and culture around them succeed and benefit from the hard work and dedication they put into their business.
