A family friendly studio for students of all ages. We teach tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, modern, and lyrical. We have also just started a ballet class for baby wearing and pregnant moms!

Meet the Business Owner

Kristi A.

Business Owner

Kristi Amacker is the owner and artistic director of Front and Center Dance Studio. She began teaching dance and gymnastics when she was 13, where she discovered that teaching dance was what she wanted to spend her life doing.

In 2002, Kristi opened Front and Center Dance Studio. That year she also started the competition dance team, Spotlight Company Dancers. Spotlight Company Dancers became a non-​profit company in 2005. They have won many top awards for excellence in form, outstanding choreography and originality.

Kristi is always encouraging her students to get out in the community and get involved with as many performance opportunities as they can. She loves being involved and lending an extra hand to her students.

She has choreographed for many other performing arts companies and community projects in Redding like Cascade Theater’s «Cascade Christmas», Riverfront Playhouse, Harris Studios, WE Multimedia, The Dance Project, Redding Rancheria and One Safe Place.
