Perry’s Automotive is a general repair shop with five ASE certified technicians that each specialize in their own area of expertise. We have full OE level diagnostic and programming capabilities using factory diagnostic equipment for all domestic cars and light trucks. We also have OE level diagnostics for your Toyota car and truck. Chris McNeely, who has worked at Perry’s for 26 years, is our light truck diesel service, maintenance and repair tech. He also specializes in differential, transfer case, manual transmission and major engine repair. Jerimy McNeely, who has worked at Perrys for 25 years and is 3^rd generation, is our smog, electrical, computer, fuel injection and driveability tech. Randy Mitchell, who has worked here for 19 years, is our suspension, brake and alignment specialist. Randy specializes in ABS brake systems and air suspension diagnostic and repair. Josh Holt, employed here for 17 years, is our HVAC, power door locks, power and mechanical windows specialist, along with brake and lamp certification. We have recently hired Joe Wolff as our next driveability tech. He has been in the repair industry since 1993, has 21 years of experience. Joe specializes in computer diagnostics and driveability concerns. If its computer controlled, he can properly diagnose and repair it. All five techs are certified in Electric and Hybrid vehicle diagnostics and repair. There is greater than 132 years experience between the five techs.

History

Established in 1968.

by Perry McNeely, our family owned and operated business has grown and prospered. We were originally located in the rear of the old Lockwoods tire building on North Market street. In 1973 Perry moved the business and his two mechanics, Glen McNeely and Jim Shaw, to the larger and present location on Twin View Blvd. Perry’s oldest son, Glen, purchased the business in 1980 and over the years added two more buildings, tripling the size of our operation. Glen’s son, Jerimy, and his wife, Kristie, are preparing to take over the family business in the next couple of years.

Meet the Manager

Jerimy started working at Perry’s when he was 16 years old. In addition to being the lead electrical and smog technician. He has recently started racing RC cars at Ratllesnake Raceway at the Shasta District Fairgrounds with his youngest son Scott. He is also an expert white water kayaker, and spends as much time as possible on the water with his sons Shawn and Scott. He enjoys fly fishing with his wife, Kristie and spending time on the lake with family. As with all of the techs at Perry’s, a great deal of time is spent each year in classes, keeping up to date on the technical changes in the automotive industry. He has multiple ASE certifications and is trained in hybrid vehicles as well.
