We keep our overhead low, so our rates are low. We do all phases of tree work, from cosmetic pruning to full extractions, crown reduction, tree thinning. Whether you have a dangerous digger pine that needs removed, or satellite signal blockage by overgrown oaks, Sycamores or other large trees, we can help. Sierra Vista Vegetation also does all aspects of vegetation removal, including defensible space, fire breaks, brush clearing, fire trails and removal of blackberries, poison oak or other nuisance vegetation. We are license with both the CA State Contractors Board (#963 229) and Cal-​Fire (B10888). We carry both liability insurance and workers comp.

History

Established in 1991.

Started in the logging business with my father when I was still in my teens. After my stint in the USN and as the logging market weakened, Dad convinced me to go back to school. So I did and from there ended up in the financial industry for 25 years, After tiring of ridding a desk I decided to go back to what I love the most, working outdoors, with trees and vegetation. Today we are a successful tree service and vegetation removal business covering all parts of Northern Ca.

I have lived in Northern California since the early 1950’s. I started my career in the logging industry with my father. On the advice of my father I went back to college to pursue an alternative career. After 25 plus years away from the industry I decided to go back to what I love, working with trees.
