I like the occasional cigar and Tobacco’n Brew has a good selection and they carry my favorite one. I bought a carton a cigarettes for my mom here and my sister said that was the cheapest price she’s knows of. We were going to make beer can chicken and they didn’t have a decent beer in the can. I had to go to Bev Mo for that.
The two women behind the counter had a wonderful conversation about how one of them had too much fun the night before and she had a hangover. I really didn’t need to hear that conversation. It’s nice when retail employees are present with the customer. That’s when you try to add on sales. Just sayin’

I bought a good amount of cigars here including a 10.25 Joya de Nicaragua which I just tried to light. I should have been more suspicious of the price tag on the bands location. I tried to light it and it made a noise as a was drawing in. The noise was air. When I removed the band there was a large hole in the cigar. I am posting the picture.

I have gotten the wrong carton of cigs 3 times there (I don’t see well) they wouldn’t take the unopened carton back without a receipt and I go there 4 times a month. To top it off if you use a debit card you get socked with a 5.00 fee.
Bring cash or you’re in trouble. It’s a YOB for most of these folks.

I go there at least twice a week because I work nearby and there are no other coffee shops around the vicinity. It is convenient and prices are standard and they do an ok job of making my Latte. Usually there isn’t much of a wait and though have not been impressed with the customer service, I haven’t really had anything to complain about either.
Until today.
Today I went in and there were a few people in line. One of the employees returned from her break and helped a customer at the end of the line. Hello? Am I invisible? When I asked her why she helped him (he was a regular by the way, they knew him by name) she said «I am on break». Oh, my bad, that explains a lot. And I knew that HOW??? Sheesh!
Then she helped me (I guess she must have been off break now?). Her co-​worker walked over to her and whispered something in her ear that I could not hear. HOW RUDE! Guess I am not important enough because I am not a regular and I won’t be now either!

Forget the turban shops that have popped up all over redding and forget your local grocery store Tobacco n Brew has what you won’t find anywhere else!
The employees aren’t much to speech of but the service is okay

Cheap prices here. Workers are… Right up my alley. I heckle them and they serve it right back. 5 stars for being mom and pops with great variety and prices, from tobacco to coffee, energy drinks cheap. Great craft beer bombers got cheaper than other big name stores. I think they’re doing good.

I’ve been in the store on 2 occasions. The first time was with my sister to purchase cigars for a boyfriend. This was in october or november so we both wore jackets. We were told we had to remove our jackets to go walking to the humidor. We declined and left, she purchased cigars elsewhere. The next time I went and was to purchase butane for my lighter. I somehow got in the wrong place I guess and was told quite rudely by this lady that I didn’t belong back there. This was in the main part of the store and I guess in area would consider sacred. I would give up smoking cigars before I would ever darken the doorway of that place again. I buy cigars online now (cheaper prices and great service), or visit a great Cigar Lounge in Loomis, California. They also lay claim to the finest walk in humidor in california you gotta be kidding.

So every time I go in this place I am always nice to the people that work there but EVERY TIME they are so bitchy, even the guy. I went in there today and the guy, that im pretty sure is the owner, was talking to the old lady, yelled across the room and said hey can you help this little girl. I was so pissed, I go there alot so they know im 19, im short but not a damn little kid. They are just so bitchy I dont even bother to look arobund, just get my shit and go.

so ive been here about 10 times in my life and almost every time there is the same lady that is always there that treats me like shit. no «hi how are you!» «can i help you with anything?». one time she said «what do you want» i just gotta say thEt that really put a bad taste in my mouth.
BUT!
there is something here that many places in town don’t have. coffee, beer and smokes! seriously you can buy a French press and a pack of cigars all in one store. they have fresh brewed coffee drinks and a KILLER selection of beer. and note: when i turn 21 i will make my way to tobacco and brew at least once a week for some good. well brew! i know redding locals like the place so i support it.

This store use to be located in the Mt. Shasta Mall for years! They have expanded and now live on Hilltop Dr, near the «Redding Adult Book Store». Great selection of tobacco products and gifts. Lots of interesting things to look at. Worth seeing, even if you don’t smoke.
