WIT Windows and Doors

While Updating a rental property I own it came to my attention that ordering new windows and doors would give the house the modern face-​lift I was hoping for. I searched around for the best quality and prices. I was referred to WIT by a co-​worker. From the moment, I received the quote, the owner mike had me laughing over the phone. The installation was great, everyone was very professional. There was a girl, I believe her name was Tiffany? Well, whatever name was she was very respectful and provided great service. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to give their home an update.

New windows installed today, my home looks brand new! Very professional crew, we are extremely pleased with the results.

Just had six new windows installed; and are very pleased with the product, and the installers. The windows are quality, and so neatly installed. The installers were friendly, and very neat, moving items away from necessary locations carefully. They took the old (trash) away. We’ve already gotten some compliments from the neighbors!

Just got my windows installed by WIT today, I would highly recommend to everybody, the crew was great they went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the installation. Andy is great he made the process non-​stressful. Thank you Danny and Will.

W.I.T. replaced two drafty sliders, in our patio, along with a security door. We are so pleased with the quality and workmanship we are planning to have them replace all of our windows, and both doors in front. I highly recommend W.I.T. for all your windows and doors.

WIT just finished installing 18 windows and a slider at my home. I was extremely impressed with the entire process of dealing with this company. From the initial measurements and quote to the final walk through, WIT took the time to make sure they were serving our needs. The windows they installed look outstanding. I can already tell my utility bills will be reduced. They also installed 4 sun shades on some upper windows that catch a lot of sun.
Their installers were courteous and clean while inside my home. They took the time to prep their work areas and cleaned up any dust left behind. My three year old entertained the installers with his guitar playing and conversation. They were genuinely kind to my whole family.
I will recommend this company to my neighbors, who will likely want to upgrade since we all have 25 year old homes. I’d also recommend them to family, friends, and coworkers. A+++ in my book.

Very happy with our decision to go with WIT ! The workers did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. They helped move furniture and other things that were in the way of their job. Love the fact that we noticed such a huge difference right away with the noise and temp. We recommend WIT to those who want the good service and install.

The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was very curt and rude. I live in an old Redlands home and called to get an estimate on updating one particular window. The gentleman cut me off and stated they don’t do «just one window» and hung up. Perhaps if he had taken the time to treat me with respect he would’ve earned a customer who has a 4,700 square foot Craftsman full of windows we plan to update. Instead I will be choosing another store!

I revived a letter from WIT windows today with check attached for a full refund on my door. The letter also indicated that they do not pre hang their own doors and offered a rep come out to analyze what went wrong. They did the right thing and I appreciate it. Thank you WIT windows

W.I.T. sells premium doors and windows, no question about it. But it is GREAT stuff, and the only problem I’ve ever had (a broken slider handle) they fixed free in seconds. On our first job with them we did one slider and 6 windows. We leaked the sliding door so much we got one for our bedroom next. Finally we’ve decided to bring the last sliding door up to the high standard of the others. I should mention that the install team is extremely good. They don’t make a mess, but when they do they clean it up spotlessly. I had a situation where a poorly laid Pergo floor (done by yours-​truly) left a 1″ gap on the floor by our old slider. The new one was in, and that gap was still there! Dale, a real craftsman and master of his art, pulled some stuff off the truck and, voila! Somehow the gap was gone. I’m looking at where it was even now and I can’t figure out how he did it. I really like this team! They’re warm, sharp, and very professional.

We couldn’t be happier with this company. We were amazed that we could get the windows we wanted for half the price the big box store quoted us. And the service was great. The workers left our house looking as if they had not been there. Oh, except for the beautiful windows!
The only negative I can think of is that they don’t offer financing. However, that was no problem for us, as we wanted to used our credit card anyway.

! Mike is who we spoke with at the store, and he came out to measure the windows we were replacing, and gave us an unbelievable price. We have a couple more windows to replace, and we’ll be contacting Mike again!

I’ll begin by stating that they offer excellent service, selection, and installation.
The typical home owner usually has no clue what options are best when picking windows however Andy and his crew were exceptional at explaining the features, operation, and options available for the windows we chose. Not only were they less expensive than the big box stores but the installation went extremely well and the quality shows through.
I’m looking forward to completing our project using WIT Windows. I highly recommend them.

We replaced all our windows and a couple sliders with WIT, and could not be happier with the work they did. The guys in the showroom were patient and helpful, and the workers were in and out as scheduled, were very courteous, and did a great job.
We quoted from 3 companies for equivalent quality products, and WIT had the best price. Beyond that, their windows have a narrow profile, so you get more glass and less frame. We had a couple octagon-​shaped windows that the other companies told us they would not be able to replace, but WIT did it without any trouble.

My experiences with W.I.T. have been very positive.
We bought windows and a slider from them in 2004 (or so).
A couple of the windows developed issues (particularly the ones with «self cleaning coating) but WIT was always responsive to fixing the problem, ordering new windows from the manufacturer, and installing them without issue.
We recently had a side garage door installed, and some locks replaced.
Their door specialist, Richard, was helpful and did a fine job with the installation.
He also tweaked a couple of problems we had with other doors in the house.
He recommended a refinisher for our front door (in anticipation of changing that door’s hardware) and the refinisher was first rate.
I went to the showroom to inquire about getting a new kitchen «garden window» and the person I spoke with that day alerted me to potential issues with getting a new window. In other words, he did not try to make the sale at my expense. After talking with him I determined it would be a bad idea to try to buy a new window of that type.
No one as WIT has ever been anything but polite and helpful.
Occasionally I did have to call to check on timetables, but compared with other companies, I think this company’s service is outstanding. I am happy to do business with them and would continue to do so.

I started off having a great experience with this company but it slowly went downhill. The owner Mike was outgoing and helpful when I first met him at my home for a quote. They were more expensive than other companies but I appreciated that they were local and a smaller company. I felt as though it would be a better customer service experience in the long run if I went with them. However, later Mike was short and rude when I called to notify the company that a window spring mechanism had broken about a year later. To be clear, he said he would take care of it, but I was astounded by the short, curt attitude and tried to speak to him about it, to which he said, «Yeah, OK, OK, whatever. I don’t need a lecture. Do you want me to take care of it or not?» I said, «Yes, but I had a good experience with you in the past and I’m not sure what’s going on, why you’re being so short and rude right now.» He said, «I’m not getting into this with you.»
This window experience was on top of another negative experience with the company concerning an employee named Claudia. (I got the impression that Claudia was Mike’s wife or another family member, but never inquired further.) Like Mike, things started off positive but then slowly went downhill. I was thrilled with the customer service and the installers, so I called for a quote from Claudia for replacing the front door. The quote received was about $ 500 higher than an alternate company for the same door, the same style. I asked if there was any chance we could work on the price as another company was significantly lower for the same product, installation, and warranty. What followed was a series of rude e-​mails and phone calls from Claudia saying, «We bend over backwards for our customers and we will not come down in price. You are talking about going with the other company? Well, they are absolutely terrible and they’ll never help you out, they won’t honor the warranty.» After a small number of conversations back and forth, I stopped contacting her as the messages were always negative and WIT wasn’t willing to change their price. Claudia kept calling, to the point where I contacted her and said, «I would be willing to go with your company for the front door, but quite frankly, the attitude and response to me asking for a price adjustment to be comparable to what other companies are charging is offputting.»
