I have been coming to this dental office for the better part of 10 years. When I started treatment with Nohr DDS, I was young, broke, and my teeth were in bad shape. They have an amazing team and finance office that helped me map out what I could chip away at to start working at better dental health. The schedulers were patient with me, too, and thankfully I wasn’t scolded too badly for my poor habits. this was important for me because it meant I didn’t have to be ashamed to show up and get the treatment I needed.
It’s taken many years but I have finally gotten to a place where I take pride in caring for my teeth. Sure I’ve been disappointed in myself or embarrassed when prior failure to care for my teeth properly resulted in a setback but each time we’ve managed to work together to turn the ultimate result into a positive.
I’m now doing a combination of orthodontics and implant dentistry for a missing tooth in the aesthetic zone. Dr Nohr is thorough and is in touch with my orthodontist to make sure the end result of both treatments is exactly what I want. Because an implant is one-​way, we will not place the implant until the teeth surrounding the site are exactly where they need to be.
Soon I’ll have the pretty, healthy teeth I’ve wished for for a decade! I’m really thankful to have a dental team I trust that helped me to get there.

Charged me a late fee when the receptionist told me the incorrect time of my appointment, then they hung up on me. Absolutely unacceptable.
Also, every time I’ve been here they’ve found issues with my teeth. I’ve had an impeccable dental record my whole life and other dentists have found nothing wrong with my teeth. It’s like they just want to do procedures to charge my insurance company.

I have been going to Dr. Nohr’s office for over 10 years now. I did not realize what an amazing and knowledgeable office and staff I had been going to until I had to find a different dentist office while I was living away temporarily. Dr. Nohr office is simply the best you will find anywhere. They specialized in people who are sensitive to pain or afraid of the whole dentist experience, but frankly I was never one of those because since childhood I’ve been going to this office.
Dr. Nohr and his staff are highly recommended by me for both children and adults.

My visit was not at all satisfactory. I went there for a checkup and regular cleaning after changing my dentist and was told that I needed 4 hours of deep cleaning. I had a deep cleaning 3 years back and personally did not feel that I needed 4 hours of cleaning. They checked with my insurance and they showed me that it is going to be covered 85%. Looks like the intention was to maximize the insurance benefits. I took my X-​Rays and went to another Dentist, where they did a regular cleaning first and told me that I need probably 30 minutes of deep cleaning which could not be cleaned through regular cleaning. Not only that saved me money, it also saved me 3 hours and 30 minutes of painful procedure under anaethesia that was not needed. Shouldn’t this be the approach for any doctor who looks after the patient? Do regular cleaning first and then do a deep cleaning for areas that is needed !!! The doctor’s office definitely wanted to maximize my insurance’s annual benefits. Definitely would not recommend.

I have only been going to Dr. Nohr for about two months now but I am already as impressed as can be. I’ve lived in four cities in three different states in the past ten years, so I’ve been through a bunch of dentists, and I’m thrilled to have found one that I believe is the best one yet.
The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They presented a treatment case sheet that showed every issue that I have with my teeth, what the treatment options were, and how much each would cost with my insurance.
Lastly, and most importantly, the crown that they put on was extremely well done. This is my third crown done by the third different dentist, and on the other two, I was so sore for a few days I could barely eat and was constantly taking Advil for the pain. On this one, I waited for the antisthetic to wear off, and when it did, I felt no pain whatsoever. They did a phenomenal job. The cleaning was also done very gently but thoroughly, with useful feedback for me on what my «problem» areas were and how to improve.
This is how dental work SHOULD be done. I give these guys five stars and look forward to being a patient for years to come … at least, insofar as one can look forward to anything related to the dentist.

I have had many a filling and cleaning at this place. I’ve been going for about 7 years now. They even did a couple of crowns for me. They go through dental hygienists like they’re going out of style, and for some reason they always, WITHOUT FAIL, broach the topic of how many kids I have. (Not whether I am going to HAVE kids, mind you) So –1 star for bedside manner. But they’ve always done a good job.
I even went in for tooth pain one day, worried that I was going to have to have some serious work done, and they just prescrived over-​the-​counter sensodyne toothpath for me. They told me to rub it on the tooth and leave it on for a while, and that took care of it! No charge. Thanks guys.

I found Dr. Nohr bc I needed a second opinion when «Sunset Dentistry» surprised with 4 cavities after moving into the area. Dr Nohr’s dentists took a look and noticed that two needed air abrasion and the other two were «watches». Over the next 5 years of dentist visits, I was really impressed with the hygienists and dentists at Dr. Nohr. They were very patient, knowledgeable in the latest techniques (like air abrasion — much better than drilling) and did a great job keeping my mouth clean and costs to a minimum.
I never had any advanced procedures but if you need general dentistry (cleanings and good evaluations), I highly recommend Dr. Nohr’s team.
Since I moved away, they have also been very helpful in transmitting documents. They have great receptionists.
One note: When I started using a sonic toothbrush, I noticed better comments from the hygienists even though I never got going with the flossing.

I had a basic exam here and was impressed by the hygienist, Dr Makagon, and the billing consultant.
Just to be a good consumer one should get a second opinion regarding any expensive procedures they may recommend, but I still endorse them.
