History

Established in 2009.

Founded by former Bellevue School District teacher, Eastside Little Learners is a Chinese and English bilingual childcare and school. Nested in a quiet community at the junction of Redmond and Bellevue, we offer children a clean, creative, and spacious learning environment.

Meet the Business Owner

Julie E.

Business Owner

Julie is a graduate of Guangzhou Teachers University in China with majors in Chinese language and Education. She has over 20 years of teaching experience, working with children ranging from infants to high-​school age kids. She was most recently a certified teacher with the Bellevue School District and has acquired training in Early Childhood education on an annual basis, Arts, Crafts, Mathematics, and Computer Technology.

In addition to her extensive teaching background, Julie is also active in the local teaching community. She’s a member of several professional associations including U.S. Chinese School Association (CSAUS), East King County Family Childcare Association (EKCFCC), Washington State Mathematics Council (WSMC), and Puget Sound Council of the Teachers of Mathematics (PSCTM).
