QFC

I love this location. With all of my cold little heart. Its clean, well-​stocked, and the staff always know where the random item I’m looking for is. Breaking down the important sections…
Produce: So fresh and so delicious looking. Their organic produce isn’t outrageous, and for those of us who are cheap and like pesticides, their non-​organic section is great and still looks delicious. We actually get to eat all of our produce before it goes bad, so plus there.
Meat: lots of options– great cuts of meat, lots of sales, and more of the organic stuff. We scored an awesome deal on flank steak last time we were here, and its currently marinating in the fridge. They also have awesome dinner set-​ups, we’ve purchased pre-​marinated flank steak and sliders for gym bbqs, and it always gets rave reviews.
Booze: Okay, their chilled selection of beer and cider is so so good. I honestly stop by every single time just to see if they have anything new. Favorite random purchase has been the Schilling Chaider. Also, cheap delicious wine.
Cheese: My favorite part of the store. Do yourself a favor and peruse the $ 5 bin. There’s always something new and tasty in there. Last time we picked up a habanero gouda that was awesome melted in with scrambled eggs. They also have my favorite brie, which goes onto every single cheese plate I’ve ever made.
Long story short: Redmond QFC, you’re my fav. Thanks for being convenient and awesome.

Love this QFC, they really y have a fantastic staff who have great demeanors! And for me it’s so convenient as I live walking distance to them.

This QFC location is 0.5 miles away from another QFC location in Bella Bottega. This location is small, and the parking lot can be a nightmare. The interior felt rushed, busy, and hectic. There are only four self-​checkouts, and when I grabbed a wrap from the deli, it wasn’t tagged with a barcode. The employee monitoring the self-​checkout area seemed very annoyed that I grabbed the wrap without a barcode because she had to go get another one to scan. Wasn’t very friendly at all. I noticed other parts of the store were messy as well. I’ve been to many QFC’s in the area, and this one takes the prize for being my least favorite. I don’t plan on returning here.

The Redmond QFC has got my vote for the best customer service ever… I usually patronize the Redmond store since it is near to my home, but I definitely go out of my way to especially go to that QFC… the cashiers are extremely efficient and helpful… one time I left my credit card (or it fell on the ground!) and I came back the next day, frantic, and they graciously had it safely locked up… one time I bought the wrong kind of dressing and the exchanged it super fast!.. Even late at night they have been extremely helpful with getting me change (coins) if needed as well as bagging my groceries securely. Customer service goes a long way and all of their employees are super friendly and helpful. I truly appreciate the store and it’s convenience!

I would give them zero stars but… I got salmonella from eating one of the sandwiches. But you know how it is you ride it out throw away the food. So no proof. I was sick for a week. Still having symptoms. Rare case. Who knew. Next time you get food poising go to the doctor. Then they called me after I reported it. The lady lied to me and pressured me on tape I’m sure to accept a gift card because I had no proof. No gift card ever arrived. Surprise. I walked passed the deli the other day and had to walk out just the memory and smell made me want to hurl. Plus they are screwing me.

Excellent customer service, superior produce, and great grocery variety! I’ve been shopping at this QFC for 2 years and it already feels like family. The employees at this QFC are beyond helpful and simply delightful to talk with when you check out.

I can’t speak for all QFC’s but this one is the best one I’ve ever shopped at. Not only is everything perfectly organized but the staff there is outstanding. Every person working there will say hello to you if you pass them by while shopping. They are so friendly and all have great attitudes. Not all QFC’s are like this location. I’m impressed every time I shop there. Keep up the good work.

This QFC is alright, it’s actually a smaller neighborhood kinda grocery store. Which I don’t mind. There is another QFC not to far from here which is a bigger store that I like to go to.
A bonus for this location is that it isn’t really all that busy. So it’s quick and easy to get in and out.

This one is walking distance from work. I love it!
During lunch hours, they have special for $ 6. You get to pick one entrée and two sides in the deli. I love how cheap they are for a lunch deal and the variety of options in the deli. Plus, there are a couple very very friendly staff around.
Since it’s walking distance, coworkers and I will always share what’s on sale in the store. It’s very nice!

It’s a decent grocery store. Same company as Kroger and Fred Meyer
Store has freshly made sushi (expect quick vendor sushi) and a Starbucks inside. A deli and bakery, but kind of a small bread section

All three words of QFC’s title ring true to me. There is food here, it is of a high quality, and it is located in a convenient location that is close to my home. Wow, that’s like everything to love about a store. There is another QFC in Redmond only about half a mile north from this one, and I still don’t know why they built two of them so close together, but how can you complain about having too much good food?
I’ve been coming to this store for years. I remember how back in around 2003, I would ride my bike here to use the free internet on their public computers in the café. I don’t know what happened to that; I still wonder when and why they took those computers away. That’s the only time I can think of where a grocery store let people use computers for free. I also remember using the pay phone at this QFC to make way too many collect calls to my parents when I was younger.
Now, I like to visit their bakery to buy tarts. These tarts can be quite big and usually require a one-​day notice before you can pick them up; they normally don’t have them ready and thus need some time to make the treats with specific requests. If you ask for strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, and raspberries, they’ll make an exquisite work of art for you that is a joy for the taste buds as well. It’s so beautifully crafted that you’d think it came from a smaller private bakery or something. This QFC has always satisfied my expectations with its clean and professional atmosphere.

Not the largest QFC, but still very nice. They have a great staff, Starbucks and all of the essentials!

Eh! It’s a grocery store. QFC consistently gets rated one of the most expensive grocery stores in the Seattle area, so it’s not exactly a bargain. (Cheaper than Whole Foods, pricier than Safeway) It’s convenient for downtown Redmond, but confusingly only about a 10 minute walk away from ANOTHER totally different QFC. Why? Not sure, but it’s been that way for a long time, so it seems to be working. Self checkout is kinda nice when you’re feeling antisocial.

Probably the busiest QFC I’ve been to, inside and out.
Pretty crammy inside and slow service.
Parking here sucks, and I have no idea why but every aisle and every section just feels so SMALL.

Jerky followup:
Cross-​cut (against the grain) jerky turned out WAY crumbly, just going on to show that the old butcher’s judgement was not worth JACK (when he decided to trump my request for WITH the grain cuts, by cutting AGAINST the grain).
Golden Steer did a better job manually cutting yesterday than the old geriatric dude at QFC. (Again, like a professional, they cut one slice for my approval before butchering the whole thing. The QFC old guy really needs to learn this.) :-/​
So for Jerky, I will avoid QFC’s meat section from now on, unless I have a IMMEDIATE need and the younger butcher is working.
The rest of the store is still fine.
The florist is INSANELY helpful. :-)
The place is open 24/​7, which is GREAT too.
The liquor section is kinda dark and secluded, so feels kinda sketchy, but whatever.
I still think they should move the magazine/​card section towards the florist area.
Magazines just become an afterthought that you only notice after checkout, and are walking out. :-/

This is how I would rank the following eastside QFC stores:
1) Redmond being the best in terms of size, still great quality on produce and meats.
2) Totem Lake — a little bit smaller than the Redmond store but still great quality on produce and meats and overall selection.
3) Kirkland Park Place — tiny, small, not that great of selection, and always crowded and just seems more expensive. Usually pretty long lines.

This isn’t the most amazing QFC I’ve ever laid eyes, but I like it. It’s clean, organized, and has good discounts (unlike other QFCs I’ve been to).
It’s extra nice because there is a Trader Joe’s right next door to supplement your grocery trip with everything pretzels. Yum!
They don’t have a pharmacy and the parking lot can get crazy busy– I recommend you park on the non-​Trader Joe’s side for ease of egress.

Parking is a pain here. I just remember driving here from Redmond Way or the other direction can both be very tricky. There is a lot of traffic nearby and it is difficult to just turn and try to get into the parking lot.
I know it is probably not that different from the QFC next door but it seems pretty difficult to find parking here. There are actually a lot of stores around here. Everything seems so crammed together. There is Staples, Trader Joe’s, Starbucks, etc.
The last time I was here, I was craving mac and cheese and I thought I’d stop by and get some from the deli section. Oh gosh, it was so bad. It was overcooked. And the mac and cheese has probably stayed out for too long. It was way too salty for me. Never again. That was a first: getting QFC deli and it actually tasted bad!

Okay, I really like this QFC. The produce is always good and unlike Safeway I can buy food off the shelves and things without having to worry that it’s expired.
Why only the 2 stars? LEARN TO BAG. GEEZ. It’s a backpack, not a labyrinth.
So I’m trying to be green and save some f*cking whales. I haul my backpack and a reusable hemp (geez, screams hippie?) shopping bag around with me. And given your age, you look like someone who still uses a backpack for textbooks. You should be good at this. Have you ever eaten a banana? Know what happens to a banana if you should put it at the bottom of your backpack and then cram textbooks over it? Exactly what happens when you put my bananas at the bottom of my pack under cans and bottles, you little idiot.
Thanks to at least 3 zitty adolescent inept boys, I’ve come home with bruised bananas, broken eggs, crushed packaging, and a dirty pack interior due to wet dirty things (like lettuce and carrots) slipping out of their bags DUE TO POOR BAGGING.
And sure it’s my fault that I keep forgetting to monitor the bagging. Why? I shouldn’t have to. Do your job!
