Clearview Window Cleaning and Pressure Washing

OMG! I actually screamed a little bit when I saw my windows after they were cleaned. It really didn’t look like glass was there. Ryan and his crew did an excellent job on my windows and screens. They were on time, didn’t make a mess, and left me with sparkling clean windows. I will definitely use them again. Thank You Clearview.!!

Hired Clearview Window Cleaning to clean all our windows and screens and power wash our house. We have a tri-​level home with very high windows. Ryan the owner and his crew came out and did the work. He was here on time, did a great job and was very fairly priced. I would definitely us them again and high recommend them.

Amazing job! Very professional, quick, and local! Ryan came in to give me an estimate, price was fair. Scheduled a day right away but had to reschedule. That was no problem, it was taking care right away.
My windows are super clean, I feel like I’m outside, what a difference.
Ryan even went beyond and send me a thank you card, this is a nice gesture, when do you actually receive thank you card from businesses???

We contracted with Clearview to clean all the windows, screens, sills, and skylights in our 3100 sq ft house, as well as to power-​wash our patio in the back and the driveway and stairs in the front.
Ryan came out and gave us a very fair estimate in writing for the work. He and two of his workers arrived on time for our scheduled appointment. They were pleasant, efficient at their job, and took great care with our possessions.
We have used several other companies in the past, and none compared to Clearview. We will use them again and recommend them to our friends and family.

Ryan and his crew just left — my windows look terrific and I will certainly be using Clearview in the future. At every point from my initial phone call Clearview provided professional service. Valerie took my call, and was pleasant and informative. She set up an appointment for Ryan to come out and give me an estimate; Ryan arrived on time and gave what I considered to be a fair estimate. We set up a service call; again he arrived on time. He and his 2 guys did a thorough job and were respectful of my property — careful with the plants and landscaping outside and wore booties inside. It is obvious Ryan takes pride in the the service he provides. Good job — thanks!

Hi. I got on Unilocal to look up reviews for house painters. One search led to another and I found these reviews for Clearview Window Cleaning. I use Clearview so I stopped to read them.
I’ve never written a review before but after reading Lisa and David’s I had to take a minute to say, «their review doesn’t sound anything like the Valarie, the Ryan, or the Clearview that I’ve known for the past 2 years».
First, and quite honestly, I scheduled my first appointment with Clearview (Valarie) because they were the only one (of several companies) that had a real live person answer the phone. In this day and age and in this economy that’s unheard of. If you don’t believe me call your telephone company, your bank or 99% of the other companies you have accounts with.
Clearview has an Office Manager, Valarie, who works everyday 9 – 5. She has been working for Ryan from Day 1 and was hired specifically to provide immediate and personal service by answering the phones. I’d be willing to bet Lisa’s complaint may be an honest misunderstanding or an isolated incident. The owner calling to apologize and offer a 50% discount to try and make it right is something else that rarely happens.
David sounds like a reasonable person but I have to say, «nothing like that has ever happened to me». Even Lisa said Ryan called, apologized, offered a discount and tried to make her happy.
The problem I have with David’s review is that when David mentioned the owner wasn’t the one who cleaned his windows he also gave the impression that Ryan
isn’t «on the job» and that (unaccountable or unsupervised) employees do the work.
That couldn’t be further from the truth.
It’s been my experience that Ryan Armstrong, the Owner of Clearview loves the company he started 5 (?) years ago. Like many small business owners his company has become «his baby». Ryan works with 1 assistant (2 in summer). He is «hands-​on» and takes pride in providing excellent personal service. So much so, and I certainly appreciate, Ryan has an Office Manager that answers the phone and schedules appointments immediately and if there is a problem (and all businesses have them from time to time) he will do ANYTHING to try and make you happy.
I understand most people write reviews when they’re mad or want to complain.
I get it.
And no I’m not married to Ryan, his girlfriend or his mother. I’m a happy customer that thinks Ryan might have gotten a bum wrap and I thought I’d tell you about the Ryan and the Clearview I know.

Made an appointment for 9 am this am, now after 10 and they still haven’t showed. No call, only get a machine at the phone number. Have had my animals locked up in anticipation of their arrival. At least they could have called.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time. A friend who owns a real estate/​broker company referred me to Clearview. Wow. Ryan and his crew are so professional, thorough, and effecient. They show up on time and get right to work. I’ve been referring him to everyone I know. I’m a bit baffled by the poor reviews on him… could they be confusing Ryan with someone else?

Ryan and his crew were true gentleman. My windows never looked better and I even got compliments from my neighbors.

I purchased a condo and the homeowners association already had Clearview selected as the assigned window cleaner. The first cleaning Clearview provided was sloppy and sub-​par in my opinion as I could still see dirty water streaks on several of the windows where the squeegee had been. I’m one for giving second chances though, so when the next cleaning offer came around I signed on for another. The second cleaning was even worse. Not only was there still streaking, but now there were noticeable scratches on one window.
I called Ryan the owner of Clearview to discuss and he informed me that there was no way it could have been him. I appreciated his confidence in his team, he doesn’t do the cleanings himself, but this scratch was clearly man made and had just happened. He suggested that perhaps it was another company who did it. I pointed out that his company has been doing the glass for the last six months and quite a while before that I was told. Next he said that it was probably there all along and that the cleaning just made it apparent. Good thought, but I lived there through two if his cleanings and I have looked out this window nearly every morning to check the surf at El Porto and never noticed the scratches until after his last cleaning.
We were at an impasse over the cause and I asked that he come look at it so he better understood this wasn’t a simple little scratch, but multiple back and forth and up and down scratches that looked as if they were caused when someone tried to scrape/​remove something stubborn from the glass.
To his credit he did come look at the glass and called me to reiterate that it wasn’t his doing. He said Clearview only use soft brushes etc. I suggested maybe one of his guys did it since he wasn’t there when it happened. No way he contended. We’ll maybe the ladder or water pail or knee pads from the cleaner caused it I said. Impossible he replied. It was clear (pun intended) that in his mind there was no way it could have been caused by his company. I asked if there was anything he could do as a good faith offer to retain an aggrieved consumer and he flatly said no. Didn’t even ask what I had in mind or suggest anything. So we hung up the phone.
That’s why I’m writing this to let other consumers know that I do not recommend their service as my windows were left with streaks after both their visits, but more importantly that if you do choose to retain their service, you check all of your windows and photograph them prior to their cleaning so that if anything goes wrong you have the evidence to prove the damage wasn’t preexisting. I know I won’t be using them again and have made the same recommendation to all the condo owners in my building.
