They’re fantastic.
I ordered same day flowers for friends in Redondo. Magical Blooms sent an automated delivery receipt, as well as emailed me back personally to let me know they were delivered.
They also called because I forgot to sign my name with the inscription for the card, and my friends didn’t know who they were from, and Magical Blooms doesn’t give out the names of folks who have sent the arrangements. I was glad they let me know so I could then reach out to my friends anyway and let them know I’d sent them.
My friends sent me a photo of the flowers and said they felt very much cheered by them, as they were grieving and it was a sensitive situation. They were beautiful, fresh, and nicely arranged. The arrangement also looked large, which was good, since delivered flowers tend to not be so cheap :) So you can feel good about what you’re about to spend.
I appreciated the extra effort they went into in notifying me that the flowers made it to their destination.

I found this flower shop on Unilocal and ordered a corsage and boutonnière for prom for my daughter and her date from Jenny. She was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. She offered suggestions on what colors and flowers to use.
When I picked up my order, the morning of the event, I noticed that they were EXTREMELY busy filling orders. Despite the obvious busyness in the store, all three ladies smiled, welcomed me, and were kind. They gave me my arrangements and I left.
When I got home, I noticed that the small, off-​white roses in the corsage had a yellowish undertone and I preferred a «true white» tone like those on the boutonnière.
I called them up, and spoke to Kate. Without any hesitation, she apologized and asked if I could go back so they could fix it. When I got there, Kate greeted me with a warm, friendly smile and asked what I wanted to change. She looked at the picture of the dress and said she knew exactly what I would like. After a few minutes, she showed me the most unique, most beautiful, most perfect corsage I have ever seen! I told her I loved it and she seemed genuinely happy for me:).
It is very obvious that creating flower arrangements and customer satisfaction is a passion shared by everyone who works there! I will definitely continue buying flowers from them for years to come.

Cutest flower shop in the south bay! Jenny is fantastic, knows her stuff and has great recommendations. Nothing but good stuff to say about this place.

So the 3^rd time my husband ordered flowers from my new very favorite florist (we’ve also used their online ordering at least twice to send «Thank You’s» to our realtor and brokers’ offices), I was less than thrilled with what he brought home. It seems perhaps there was a mix-​up, or a miscommunication, or something… it was Mother’s Day, and it was busy. He called in the order on Friday and picked up my arrangement on Mother’s Day morning, brought it home to surprise me, and I must have not had that «super-​excited, I love it so much» look on my face. He mentioned some miscommunication about color and flower choices and asked how it could be fixed at this point, after the fact, since he wasn’t comfortable making an issue when the shop was so busy. Bottom line is that I decided to call and address the concern the following week so that we could hopefully have a clear path forward for future orders. I was met with nothing but excellent communication, and then a follow up call from the owner, Jenny, and a promise that if my husband would stop back in the following Monday that they would have something ready for him to pick up that would surely make his picky wife happy.
Kudos to the husband for confirming with me before he called them what my favorite colors and flowers were, and kudos to Magical Blooms for making things right. All I can say is that they nailed it and for the way they handled the situation we will be lifers, for sure, and will refer anyone and everyone we can.
I think when things don’t go just right is when we learn most about people and about businesses, and this is one business that definitely cares to listen.

I ordered an arrangement for Mothers’ Day and it was beautiful! The arrangement was ready on time and the staff was very professional. Jenny’s arrangements are priced well, creative, and stunning. Thank you for making my mother’s floral gift great!

This popular local florist is walking distance from my house. But I didn’t have to walk there yesterday (Mother’s Day) because I got a gift delivery: tulips! One of my favorite blooms. In a beautiful round glass vase.
My kid knows I prefer a simple bouquet over an elaborate arrangement… because I feel that flowers don’t need any «help» to be spectacular. They stand on their own. (Not to diminish the artistry of flower arranging, just my personal preference.)
As for tulips, I grew them in my gardens in Chicago. Colorful tulips, hyacinth & daffodils announced yearly that, after every challenging frigid winter, Spring had finally, joyously arrived.
My cut tulips in the vase close up at night as if still growing outdoors. And in the morning open their faces as if to say ‘hello’.
«A room with flowers, is a room with life» indeed.

I absolutely LOVE Magical Blooms! The owner, Jenny Barker is a brilliant flower designer and she puts tons of love into everything she creates! I have seen how she works, and was so totally inspired by her passion and dedication to making the world a better, happier place to be by doing what she does best.
Jenny created my wedding bouquet that was absolutely stunning! I only order flowers from her now… simply because her arrangements are absolutely the best, always fresh and tastefully done, always simply stunning! In my opinion, there is simply no better flower shop in the entire South Bay!

This place is beautiful and filled with love. The owner is a sweetheart and the arrangement are gorgeous!

Ordered last minute flowers for our anniversary, like a typical husband does. I was lucky enough to stumble arcoss Magical Blooms on Unilocal and I am happy I did. The kept me informed on the dilivery process and even receieved a call about my order and the delivery delay. The flowers came out great and made my wife happy. The say happy wife, happy life and Magical Blooms helped with the great flowers.

Yes yes yes don’t hesitate most amazing florist in South Bay. My Sister picked this place for her wedding and when we went the night before to get a few more items I was shocked my super conservative sister picked this most amazing creative bohemian rogue type … I was onboard right away and not disappointed at all when we showed up at the church.

First of all let me say Jenny is incredible. I needed a bridal bouquet and flower crown for a photo shoot I was doing and wasn’t sure if I was calling too late. I contacted Jenny on a Wednesday and she made my beautiful floral arrangement and flower crown in time for a Wednesday (the following week) pick up (with time to spare). I had so many ideas as to what I wanted and she let me know what flowers were in season and what flowers I could use if those weren’t available. I was worried about it and she put my mind at ease. My floral arrangements were gorgeous! I highly recommend her for any floral needs.

I am blown away by the love and positive energy of this adorable, exquisite floral shop. And I am equally impressed by the store’s warm owner/​florist, Jenny!
She and I put together a jaw-​dropping, stunning arrangement that was a gift to my therapist! (Hey, since my therapist and I talk about «life» in his office — I figured why not bring him some living beauty as a gift!)
Gorgeous flowers… very reasonable prices… and a talented owner who puts love and great pride in all of her work — that sums this place up in a nutshell!
NOTE: The prices and quality of the flowers here are better than what you will find at «Whole Foods» or even Trader Joe’s! Plus, by shopping here, you are supporting a privately owned small business! :-)

I found Jenny on Unilocal when I was planning my October wedding. When I was searching for a florist, I knew I wanted a designer who understood Earth tone and garden style. I didn’t want anything outrageous or colorful with lots of roses. Something clean and simple with lots of greenery. When I found Jenny of Magical Blooms, I knew I wanted her to design my bouquet.
She was exactly what I was looking for and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I had a simple wedding with no bridal party and where we didn’t need a lot of flowers. We didn’t have a traditional wedding cake either. We ordered a regular cake at our favorite soul food restaurant (their velvet cake is amazing) and dropped it off to Jenny the day before our wedding to add the topper. When we picked it up 20 minutes later, we were amazed. She turned our regular cake to a beautiful centerpiece for our big day. I wished I had taken a picture of the cake before she decorated it.
As for my bouquet, unlike most brides, I really didn’t have a clue on what I wanted or what would look good. At our first appointment, we didn’t have pictures or books of examples. I must of came off like a dork with her when we met and she asked us for our favorite flowers, color, etc. and we had no real answers. In all honesty, I really didn’t know what I wanted which I’m sure would have been frustrating for other florists. Jenny was very patient with us. She told us not to worry and that she will create something beautiful. She was right. My wedding bouquet and cake topper exceeded our expectation.
She is very easy going, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. She really knows what she’s doing.

Jenny hosted my friends bday party at her place and gave about 20 plus ladies an amazing lesson! All of us had the best time and even gained knowledge on how to care for these flowers. Jenny has the best personality and kept all of us engaged the entire time. Everyone left satisfied and so proud of their own little bouquet. I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL work! The love and attention to detail that was put into the arrangement was above and beyond the picture shown online. There are so many times that I send flowers to people and they RARELY show up looking anything like what I ordered. With Magical Blooms, a picture of the the flowers is sent to you before they go out… WHAT A GREAT IDEA!
The arrangement was amazing. There was no amount of skimping on the quality, quantity or volume of the flowers. Nothing looked like «filler». I felt the value was exceptional for the price. Will definitely use them again!

This rating is a little late but Jenny is AMAZING!!! She was so incredible helpful to put together a last minute arrangement for my sister. She asked me what I wanted, when I wanted it and confirmed once the delivery was made! On top of it, her arrangements are absolutely beautiful!!! I finally found the BEST florist in LA and it’s not Mark’s Gardens!

Jenny did the bouquets and boutonnieres for my sister’s wedding and they were gorgeous! My sister had a general idea as to what she wanted in terms of type and color of flowers and incorporating Japanese washi paper into the boutonnieres but didn’t have a specific idea as to how they should look. Jenny was so great. She listened to her, gave her suggestions based on my sister’s wedding details (venue, color scheme, bridesmaid dresses and sizes, etc.) and created some really beautiful arrangements. The standout was the stunning coral/​pink peony bridal bouquet, which was incredible (see photos).
Jenny did an amazing job and is so talented. I would definitely recommend Magical Blooms for anyone getting married in the South Bay.

Magical Blooms put together a beautiful arrangement for same day delivery in the south bay. I called in the order for a hospital delivery and they were so helpful and made me feel like the flower quality is the best of the best. They also only charged $ 12 for same day delivery (which is a steal in comparison to anything online). When I specified «no carnations» she ensured me they dont use carnations in their arrangements. Will be using this place again. No filler flowers, excellent customer service, and fast delivery! My friend loved the «beatiful flowers».

If I could give ½ star — I would. My fiancé ordered and picked up flowers on Valentine’s Day 2015 from Jenny at MAGICAL BLOOMS — 31 long stem red roses -, these flowers were not «magical» nor did they ever «bloom» — when he brought them home (15 minutes from purchase) and I put them in the vases (and yes I cut the bottoms off on an angle to ensure longevity) — I noticed they had ZERO scent and the stems were black three quarters of the way up and the edges of all of these roses had a black dead edge (yes most likely were frozen/​thawed for quite some time) so when they emerged from their refrigeration they started to wilt/​die immediately. Within three hours the leaves were falling off and the roses dropped to a wilted stance — you can only imagine how sad I felt that my fiancé spent a lot of money on these flowers for Valentine’s Day and he was sold dead flowers from the start.
Since Valentine’s Day was a Saturday and Magical Blooms is closed on Sunday, my fiancé called Jenny on Monday to share with her that the long stem roses died almost immediately. He wasn’t looking for a refund –he merely wanted to share what with her that these were not healthy flowers. She had told him when he bought them that she got a «good deal» on these flowers from her vendor so she was passing on her «good deal pricing» to him. Instead of accepting the professional comments from my fiancé again who merely wanted to just inform her of his dissatisfaction as he thought a business owner might want insight into post sell merchandise. Jenny immediately went into «protect Mode» stating that she was INSULTED that he called to tell her that her flowers were a fail.
This is my very first post I have ever made on Unilocal but felt that the issue merited a Unilocal review as Jenny needs to understand as a business person that when a customer calls and is not looking for anything but to share his experience, a polite person should listen with TWO ears what that customer has to say and then with that ONE mouth thank them for their comments and be humble in your response back. Perhaps this Unilocal post will serve Jenny this educational tip of business 101 … What shame…
