Established in 1990.

Mattucci Plumbing was started by Guido Mattucci and has been giving great service for over 25 years. We started off servicing Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Torrance and Palos Verdes and have grown to plumbing service all of the South Bay.

His work is always done expertly and will give me his honest opinion when it’s time to replace or can it be repaired again. If he’s busy he’s worth the wait. Rodrigo is a Superstar!!! I had a clogged toilet issue at 11:40pm recently with a house full of 6 people… only one bathroom. I am so lucky Mattucci Plumbing delivers in their advertising 24 hour service! There is no extra charge for the after hour service… wow I was amazed. Rodrigo was super kind and extra quiet while working as all my family were fast asleep. Rodrigo has stellar customer service skills and consider yourself lucky to get him as a tech!

Mario was very professional and honest. He came in to clear my kitchen sink blockage. He explained what he was going to do before hand and during the job. He did a thorough snake job and gave me some tips to keep the line from getting blocked again. Very clean. Price was good. This was my first time using this company after my usual honest plumbing company was bought out. So far very good.

Funny story; our landscaper busts our water main while prepping our yard for new sprinklers. He fixed/​replaced the pipe, but to stop the leaking he crammed a bunch a bread into the pipe (old school)…which stopped the hot water flow into our house, and backed up the toilets.
A polite and respectful young man named Morgan showed up quickly, and easily resolved our problem, and without any crazy expenses.
Thanks again to Mattucci for always being available, and having a friendly and highly skilled staff.

Great service, thoroughly professional, highly recommended. Called them on short notice due to a failed supply valve at our office and they had someone out in a few hours. Morgan arrived on time and was extremely helpful and efficient. Not only did he fix the problem but he helped identify another issue that has been contributing to some long term plumbing headaches. When purchasing my home the inspector suggested I have the mainline checked via video. I was in a crunch do to the contact to remove all contingencies so called around and spoke with Mike Fear late afternoon on a Friday. Not only did he get someone out to my house the next day but continued to track the progress and give updates on eta while being out of town on vacation himself. If that doesn’t scream customer service I don’t know what does.
Side note — based on the video they found numerous cracks in the mainline which saved me thousands by ensuring the seller remedied the problem, thanks Mike.

I called Matucci Plumbing last Friday after my bathroom sink and tub clogged up. I was freaking out because I knew it was late Friday afternoon and I was afraid that it would be too late for someone to come out. I called and spoke to a man named Mike. I was really anxious and he reassured me not only that they would come that day but that Matucci Plumbing would also have it fixed that day and would give me a fair estimate when they arrived. He was right!!! The plumber came and fixed the problem and the price was so much less than I expected!!! My sink and tub are both draining better than ever before! Thank you Matucci and also thank you to Mike for helping me through my ordeal. I was able to enjoy my weekend with a new and improved sink!

Did it again! The house I live in is super old and the bathtub backs up every time I do laundry. I am on a first name basis now with Mike, and he always takes care of me. Punctual, professional, perfect all around! We have a sink in our laundry area that keeps getting backed up, due to an old house with old plumbing. I’ve had two other plumbers come out before to have the sink and pipes snaked and cleaned out, and it was fine, but I am so happy today that I called Mattucci’s instead. Victor called me within five minutes of my call (on a Sunday morning), and then quoted me a price over the phone without my asking. He had one other job before me, then called again to let me know he was on his way.
He ended up snaking more areas than any previous plumber had done, because he spent his time looking to see if there were any other areas that could be causing the backup. He also is the first plumber who explained to me what was happening and what he was doing, which I really appreciate (as a woman who is not an idiot, I like understanding these things, and I have felt in the past that sometimes I wasn’t treated as someone who needed to understand what was happening.) Finally, I asked him some questions on how we could potentially avoid this problem in the future and he had intelligent and thoughtful ideas for me. (And he did all this while my preschooler was following him around/​badgering him with questions, which tries MY patience on my best days!)
I highly, highly recommend Mattucci’s, and will definitely call them again first if/​when we have a problem. This was as pleasant an experience as you can expect when dealing with a plumbing issue!

We’ve used Mattucci Plumbing for many years. They are honest, reliable and reasonable. We have had Victor take care of many issues, and helped us avoid major problems in the past. This time he was out of commission with an injury.
On this occasion we had Victor Herrera who was also excellent in every way ~ punctual, professional, knowledgable. He helped find an old cartridge to help with a leak in one of our bathrooms.
For us, Mattucci Plumbing is the best for any plumbing needs.

Mario was great — very nice guy and he worked really hard the whole day. I had several things wrong; had to replace the kitchen sink, the drains in the sink, part of the pipes under the sink; plus hose bibs and seal off irrigation and replace two sink drains that were put in cheaply. Mario walked through everything and gave me a good price, and was very respectful and responsible too. No mess — would definitely recommend!

We live in an older home with not so reliable plumbing. The other morning both toilets were making a bubbling noise and then both showers started to back up. We knew right away it was the main line. We called Mattucci and within an hour David and Victor H. were at our house. Our clean out is buried beneath the concrete in the front of the house and we usually have to go through the vent on the roof to do any clean out.
After running the camera through the pipes, Victor explained a few options that could help us with our problem and also with any potential future issues. We picked the one that made the most sense to us and they got straight to work. Of course, once under the house they ran into another plumbing issue. They explained the situation but could tell we were confused, so they went the extra mile and made a drawing for us to completely understand what was happening.
5 hours later on a Friday night they finished and all was right with the world again. Through it all they were very professional and took the time to explain each step. Very happy with Mattucci and David and Victor H! Next time we have plumbing issues we will call again and request them!

This business is slick and polite. They charged $ 385 for cutting away 1×2 foot hole in my ceiling that can be reached without a lader and replacing a 8″ of ½ inch pipe. Total time spent 45 min. The good reviews must be their friends and family. My retinal surgeon does make this in an hour!!! I complained to their office– very polite, couldn’t find the invoice and took my number and never called back. Very polite and nice CROOKS.

We had an issue with our bath tub. I was ready to take a bath and turned on the water and it was running as usual, but when the tub was full, I couldn´t turn it off again. This was kind of scary and I called Mattucci Plumbing for help. I spoke to Guido Mattucci, the owner of the company and he helped me turning off the water immediately (over the phone).
He said he will send out one of his guys later to fix it permanently. An hour later one of his guys showed up and checked what caused the issue. In about 5 – 10 minutes he had fixed it and left. Great service, nice people! Thank you Mattucci Plumbing

Great and fast service 24⁄7. Got home at 10pm and realized we had very little hot water pressure. Gave these guys a call and had someone out to my house with 1 hour. The plumber knew what the problem was — the filter in my tankless water heater was dirty, which was lowering the hot water pressure coming out of the unit. Very reasonable prices as well. Good service.

We had a pipe break inside a wall while we were out of the country. I called Mattucci Plumbing and they were there within 90 minutes. Our plumber was Steve, he was professional, polite and was able to source the problem within 5 minutes. He replaced the pipe and was done in less than two hours. The cost to do this was reasonable and well worth it. I’m sure the cost to replace the wood floor, carpeting and dry wall will be way more than the cost to fix the pipe. I would recommend them and I will call them in the future with any plumbing issues.

I would not recommend Matucci Plumbing. My appointment was scheduled between 2 – 4 and they showed up at 7:30pm (and didn’t call to let me know they would be so late). Then they gave me the following prices: $ 250 to change a toilet, $ 95 to switch the hot and cold leads to my kitchen faucet and $ 125 to replace the air gap to my dishwasher. These prices are insane. I ended up changing the hot/​cold water leads and the air gap myself, it took me about 30 minutes and it probably would have taken them 15. $ 215 for 15 mins of work (and no parts, I had them all) is robbery. It’s like taking advantage of someone at the car mechanic who doesn’t know anything about cars. I gave them two stars because they did finally show up and they didn’t charge me for the call. Definitely shop around before you use these guys.

Thank you a million to Victor H. He came as fast as he could, called frequently to let me know his status and talked me through shutting off the stuck water line to prevent a bad pipe leaking from getting even worse. He was knowledgeable, patient and had very good communication skills to keep me informed throughout. He worked fast and clearly knew his stuff. I can’t even say how Victor H and the staff at Mattucci plumbing saved the day! My main water line from the city busted on the eve of a trip and if they were not able to come immediately I would have had to cancel my trip! Victor was amazing! He pulled all the tools and tricks out to fix my main line with only a flashlight (thanks to day light savings time, dark at 4:30!!) thank you again for your help, customer service and most of all your expertise! Saved my day and trip!!! They came within 30 minutes of calling!

Long story summarized: Mattucci sent out a specialist to observe the leak on the outside of our house. Nothing leaked inside, but he discovered we had a couple of pin hole leaks in the older copper pipes. We OK’d the initial fee for cutting a hole to see where the problem was. The real problem was the bill for $ 650 we received, without having seen what it was for or any details. Communication was subpar.
Naturally, I was pretty frustrated and angry at the lack of transparency. This could have been a 1 star review. However…
I spoke with Joann, and then subsequently with Mike, who heads up operations. Both were very pleasant, responded promptly, and Mike took charge and agreed 100% with my assessment. He took the adage of the customer being right and applied it. We took an issue, cut through it, and resolved it pretty quickly. As a service provider myself, and having been on his side of the coin more times than the other, I really appreciate his approach and felt compelled to share the story.
Was it perfect? No. But they saved a customer, and now I’ll be an advocate for the way they remedied a mistake, and will call them again.

Our kitchen sink was backed up and my husband tried to fix it, which failed. We requested a quote from multiple local highly Unilocal rated plumbers and only Mattucci replied. Their scheduler Mike gave us a reasonable quote and time window on the day we wanted. Victor, their tech, arrived in the middle of the window. He was pleasant, professional and qualified to fix our problem. He had it fixed and cleaned up in less than an hour. Thank you Victor and Mattucci Plumbing.

My sewer line backed up and I didn’t feel like going to Home Depot to rent a snake to do it myself. I’ve known Guido Mattucci for 34 years but this is the first time I have used his company. I was told they could have someone at my house between 3:00 — 5:00. They were early. The plumber looked at my situation and quoted me a fair price. He cleared the line in no time at all and pulled out roots. He even ran the snake out a second time.
I feel I saved money paying for a quality professional. Sure I could have saved a little bit of money renting a snake and doing it myself but time is money. I would have to stop everything I was doing, drive to Home Depot, snake out the line with a lesser quality machine, then drive back to Home Depot. With the down time of what I was doing and my driving back and forth to Home Depot, I feel I saved money and peace of mind. I will definitely call Mattuccii Plumbing again.

I use Mattucci Plumbing for all my plumbing and heating issues. They re-​piped my home with some kind of newer system that is great. I get my hot water in a second versus waiting for minutes. They also installed a tankless water heater that is saving me a lot of money on gas. I know gas isn’t that expensive but why waste it. The heater works only when I need water. Also, they fixed a commercial building sewer system in San Pedro that was just a nightmare, 5 years later not one issue.

Called Mattucci Plumbing on a Saturday with a water leak in my living room. Another plumber (from another company) had come to my house on Friday and failed to stop the leak. The gentleman from Mattucci took care of the problem quickly and efficiently — even on the weekend. Can’t say enough about their service and how much it helped me avoid a much bigger problem.

I had used them before for a rental and they were fine. Called to get my air conditioner fixed on Friday. Couldn’t get an appt until 6pm on Saturday. Of course, the guy does a no show. When I called the office number they were were of course closed. Got hold of the emergency tech and he said there was only one air conditioner tech and he didn’t have his number. It was on a piece of paper in the office. Really? Only one AC tech in the company and no one can find his phone number? Now I have to wait until Monday to get anyone out here.
DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE. Totally unreliable. Go elsewhere.

Update:
So, after about a dozen e-​mails back and forth between us and Mattucci, I have still yet to see an itemized materials invoice, and the invoices (plural) that they’ve issued to us are rife with inconsistencies, and unsubstantiated costs. For example: Mattucci originally charged us $ 3500 to «Dispose of trash». Pretty steep, considering a truckload of garbage at the dump is a few hundred dollars, NOT a few thousand. They also charged us $ 3100 for materials, which would buy approximately 3000 feet of pex pipe. (our house would have only required a few hundred feet)
Both the insurance company, and our contractor is saying that we’ve been overcharged. AVOID THESE GUYS!!!

DO NOT USE THEM! Guy shows up, looks at the job of recovering a ring, claims he’s going to his truck and never came back. When I called the office and asked where he was they said he wasn’t coming back because it’s too difficult for him. Great business plan to turn down difficult jobs. They had me waiting in my house until 3pm on a Sunday. I wish there was an option for NO stars. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

I had a tankless water heater issue for over a month! The prices for people to just come out and look were CRAZY. I was driving home and saw a van, called the number and they sent some1 out the next day.
They came out, looked for the problem, told me my options based on What if’s. Found a possible issue, corrected that issue and BOOM… the problem was solved. Took me over a month to find them and they came and fixed the same day.
Based on this one service they helped me with… they deserve all 5 of these stars.
