History

Established in 1982.

After graduating Hofstra with a degree in Theater and Art, Soozi set off to become one of NY City’s top event entertainers, performing at high end Bar Mitzvahs and Corporate Events. After 15 years she relocated to L.A. where she has built a thriving family entertainment business.

She’s been flown around the world to perform in such exotic locales as China, Japan and even New Jersey! Disney hires her again and again to entertain their guests on the red carpet for such movie premieres as Tomorrowland, Up, Ratatouille, Wall-​e, Pirates of the Caribbean, and more.

Along the way she has trained with masters in different disciplines, Mime with the NY Pantomime Theater, Clowning with Broadway performers Avner «The Eccentric,» Bill Irwin & David Shiner, Cirque director Stefan Haves, Improv with Groundling founder Gary Austin, Magic with Jeff McBride. Because of her experience and expertise, Soozi is also a sought after instructor at international Balloon Conventions and Body Art conference

Soozi is hilarious. I booked her for my daughters 5 year old birthday party and she had the whole group of kids cracking up, and entertained for over an hour! That is hard to do with a group of kids that age. She also brought my daughter out of her shell and made her feel so safe and comfortable. Soozi is also an artist and can make the most interesting things out of balloons. I’m so glad I booked Soozi. She is such a better choice than a dressed up character, bouncie castle, or any of the other pre school birthday options out there!

Soozi is simply amazing. Engaging, fun, capable of delivering a laughter filled show created for toddlers. Her delivery will keep kids engaged and begging for more. Her balloons are the most creative I have ever seen. So happy I found her.

My wife and I were very nervous about booking someone we had never seen in person before for our daughter’s first birthday party. But Soozi had so many great reviews we had to give her the job.
She showed up on time and was immediately ready to perform. The party had about 25 kids, most between 3 – 9 years old. I was worried that the kids wouldn’t be into the show, but Soozi broke through their initial shyness and managed to get the whole bunch on board. After about 5 minutes all the kids were enthralled by her performance. And I mean performance; this is much more than just some fancy balloon making.
Overall she did an amazing job. My only regret is that my daughter is too young to remember the show. We’ll be booking Soozi for events in the future, no doubt.

This is a VERY belated review of seriously the best balloon artist I’ve ever seen. I was in charge of a party for 200 people, mostly adults, and we hired Soozi as a request from the guest of honor’s 6 year old granddaughter. No surprise that all of the kids at the party loved her, but a HUGE surprise that the adults loved her too! We had grown men who don’t get that excited about anything shyly asking for balloon backpacks and taking giddy selfies of themselves with them! One of my coworkers even requested Soozi instead of cake for his next office birthday party! Basically, Soozi MADE this party. Her balloon designs are incredible. My headband balloon tiara stayed inflated at my house for a couple weeks after the party, which was also amazing. Soozi is the best! So creative and talented, for adults too!

Soozi was at my 4 and 6 year olds’ party just yesterday. Her performance was great. She even had all the parents laughing. 25 kids were totally engaged. She continued to entertain before and after her show making balloons that were so original. The parents all had their cameras out. She is absolutely worth the money. You won’t be disappointed.

Yesterday, we had Soozi at my son’s school Fall Festival and I knew people would be blown away… this is at least the 4th time I have hired Soozi because she is so amazing, lovely and off the charts creative!!! On a Thursday night in Riviera Village we met the most engaging, happy, energetic woman making animals, rings, hats and anything you can imagine, out of balloons. We introduced the terrifically talented Soozi to a 13 year old who was about to take part in a Scholarship Competition in San Jose. Soozi magically created a ballon tiara and placed it on Izzy’s head and wished her good luck! Izzy wore that tiara until the competition. We are sure it brought good luck because she came home with a real crown and a scholarship after winning Miss California State Teen Ambassadress 2014.
Since then we have had the pleasure of seeing The Sozzi Show several times and recommend her highly. She is professional, talented and just a lot of fun for all ages.

A big Thank you to The Soozi Show for the awesome Balloon Leprechaun ! The giant Leprechaun and shamrocks made our 3Leaf Realty float in the Hermosa Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade a big hit ! He even came to the pub after the parade ! Thanks Soozi ! We are looking forward to next year’s parade.

What incredible fun! I had no idea that balloons could be amazing works of art! Soozi created a wonderful set of headpieces for the RUHS Marching Band and Boosters at a football game. This brought so much joy and helped with our school spirit! I was walking around in the stands photographing the kids and the team and have never had so many compliments about my style. Soozi creates these super fast and each one is unique and amazing. She makes you smile just watching her work. You will be amazed at her talent and how much joy she will bring to your event!

Soozi is freakin awesome, even after traveling hundreds of miles, I met this kind woman on the train in New York. I couldn’t believe how much stuff she had on her and then she explained what she did for a living. I could not believe my ears, so I had to see some pictures as proof. As I was admiring pictures, Soozi pulled out a balloon, blew it up and started twisting it. Then she pulled out another and kept going. Next thing I knew, I had a beautiful flower on my wrist. Sometimes in life you get the opportunity to encounter such a gifted individual, those moments, regardless of where they are, must not be taken for granted!!!

Simply Put, Soozi was Awesome!
The Balloons Soozi makes are not just for kids!!! Adults love them too!
My wife and I were putting together a 72nd birthday party for my mom and we really didn’t know how to make it special, beyond our usual party basics. We had the caterer, we used Evite, it was a Hat Party (everyone needed to weary their favorite hat) and her friends were very excited
We were thinking about getting a magician, and a friend of ours pointed us to Soozi as someone who might be a connection to one. When my wife spoke with her, checked out her website and got a feeling for what Soozi could bring to this, essentially, adult’s only party — we were hooked!
Soozi showed up on time, was prepared and really made my mom and our guests feel great and have a wonderful time. She made a great cake hat for my mom, wrist corsages for all the women and the children that were present all got very cool Balloons to wear.
The best part was that Soozi made a giant Flamingo for my mom to wear — it was priceless! Great pictures and great fun. Again, it was awesome!
Our party was a great success, due in part to Soozi. I highly recommend her for a party — all guests (young, old, grumpy, happy, etc) will have a great time.
Bottom Line, My mom was so happy — Thank you Soozi!

The absolute best decision that we made when planning my mom’s surprise birthday party was hiring Suzanne/​The Soozi Show! She is such an amazing artist and captivated the room with her brilliant balloon art! I really can’t say enough about how entertaining, friendly, talented, and wonderful Suzanne is! I was a little weary about hiring a balloon artist for an adult party, but she was such a hit. I think that every single guest came up to me at one point or another to tell me how much they loved her or to find out where I found her. She had everyone cracking up, but was never overbearing. She felt like she was someone we had known forever… just the best!!! Thank you, Suzanne! We love you!
