I am usually a suspicious person when it comes to dealers, always thought that they are over priced. This place changed my mind. Sam is one of the nicest, most professional dealer you will find in this area. He is attentive, helpful, understanding, not pushy, and extremely honest.
I have bought a 2001 Toyota Corolla here for my mom almost 3 years ago and the car has been running great with no problems and it was reasonably priced.
If you want an honest dealer with reasonable prices and great quality cars, go talk to Sam. You won’t be disappointed.

I bought a used red car from auto city. I was rely impressed with there customer service. They rely went above and beyond to sell quality used cars. They answered all my questions and everything matched the carfax. I always wanted a beautiful red car but because of my budget I did not think I would find one. My car also came with 4 brand new tires. I have had no issues with my car and absolutely love it. Best car dealership!

We have been searching for a high top van for a while now and we found one online sold here! Not only was the van perfect but the price was very reasonable!
When they first got the van the did some work on it to make sure the van was running good before anyone came in to buy it! We will defiantly be back!

I bought a car from Sam two years ago for my au pair to use. It was a very solid car and it was perfect for my au pair. Sam was courteous, respectful and easy to do business with. I returned to Sam a couple of weeks ago with the car because my au pair has returned to her home country and I no longer require the car. After 2 years, Sam still remembered my name. and the car! He agreed to buy the car back from me and it was a very straight-​forward transaction. I sincerely appreciated how easy it was to do business with him. Thanks Sam!

I’m glad that a lot of people came here and found what they were looking for.
I disliked that they didn’t give us the carfax.
I also disliked the whole macho act.
I disliked that they sold us a crappy car. Every month we had to do repairs and we finally saved up enough to get rid of it.
Owner sent me a comment. He seems to have forgotten some details but we are not in high school and I am a grown person to not be going back and forward so tired of that. But just want to inform people when going there.
Machismo.

So almost 3 years after I went back there for some other car business, and guess what: I found Sam as the exact same great guy I remembered.

I have been looking for a car that is under 8k and Sam at Auto City has been working with me every step of the way. He is very polite and professional. He will go the extra mile to help you out so everyone goes home happy. I would highly recommened this dealership.

You may wonder if all the positive reviews here are true. As hard as it may be to believe it, yes, Auto City is a wonderful car shopping experience. I had been looking for a new car for a while. Every day, pouring over classified and looking around online, when I happened to come across a Ford Focus that Auto City was selling with low mileage at a pretty decent price. I was a bit surprised. So I called them up and was greeted by Sam, who was very pleasant to speak with. All the info I needed was available and Sam was very straight forward and honest.
After having all my questions answered, I decided to head down to check it out. The Focus was a bit easier for me to go over, as I have some experience with them already and I was very pleased to find Sam so helpful in the sale. He was very up front about everything and laid back. He wasn’t aggressive at all about the sale. He even offered to replace the part that opens the hood of the car free of charge when we found it needed to be repaired. After a quick test drive, I decided to buy the car. Even at the end of the purchase, when all I had was my bank card on me, Sam told me that it would be okay to just write him a check when I got home, that he trusted me.
My entire experience here was excellent. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get a new vehicle. It’s a small lot, so the selection isn’t big, but the customer service is class. If you can find the vehicle you want here, get it.

I go here to to get my car as well as my wife’s car detail. Sam is really down to earth easy to talk to guy. The job the do is amazing. They take their time to do things right. His assistant has been great as well. I recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a detail job as well as headlight restoration.

I love cars. And driving them. But as I happen to be female I HATE, I mean HATE, interacting with anyone about my car. Mechanics, dealers, whoever. They all treat women like idiots and they’re all trying to rip you off.
Sam is different. He’s nice, he’s honest, and he clearly loves what he does. Yeah, he’s trying to make sure he makes a profit, but he’s also trying to make sure that you feel happy about the whole experience of buying or selling a car. Personally, I’m so sad to have to sell my car, but I’m moving and it had to be done. I know Sam will find it a GREAT new owner.
If you need to buy or sell a car, go to everyone else and see how awful they are, and then, go to Sam. You will get a fair price whether you’re buying or selling, and EVERYONE will go home happy! :) Thanks Sam!

As, soon as i stepped into the lot I felt like there wasnt no one going to help me. I honestly felt like the place was un-​profesional. To my suprise i was 100% WRONG!
After talking to Sam (the owner), I knew i was in good hands. Not only did he not pressure me to buy something that day. But more like gave me advice on everything there is about cars.
As we went into the test drive, he really gets to know you, and makes you feel comfortable at all times. Sam and I worked on a deal that we were both happyy on. And made things work perfect.
Overall experince, it was 2thumbs up! And with that said me and Sam are going to make buisness again. And will keep making buisness for a good time.

A month or so ago, I started looking for a 2010 BMW 328i. There are lots available through local dealers, but I was very specific about the color combo. Local dealers tried to talk me into a lot of black or boring silver cars. I will never own another black car. And the pricing with these big dealerships seemed high, based on what I’d seen online.
I was getting frustrated, but then a friend told me to check out Auto City – that its owner Sam was great at finding hard-​to-​find cars. I went in, and immediately knew I was in good hands. Sam listened to my needs, and although he had no 328i on his lot, he said he might be able to find what I wanted.
Sure enough, he quickly called back and emailed me a pic of a gorgeous beemer. White with a deep red interior. Me likey. Clean Carfax, no mechanical issues, perfect body, etc. The price was also a few thousand less than what I was seeing online (or at the other dealerships). Long story short, I’m now the owner of a beautiful new beemer!
It gets better, though. I had to sell my old beemer. It’s in great shape mechanically, with hardly a nick, and the interior looks brand new. Still, Sam detailed it for me, which made it look flawless. Rather than try to make more money off me, he told me to just put it on craigslist. I was tempted to price it too low. Sam did the research, and he told me how to price it and what to accept. Today I sold it to the first person who replied. He’s thrilled, and so am I.
I can’t recommend Auto City highly enough. I’ve bought and sold eight cars in my life. And this is the best dealer experience I’ve ever had.

If you need a used car — or need to sell a used car — this is definitely the best place to go. Sam, the owner, is honest, caring, and completely trustworthy. He will bend over backward to help you.
I had a 2007 Nissan Sentra with only 50,000 miles on it, but I couldn’t keep up with the payments. I wanted to sell/​trade it to a dealer and use my equity to purchase a decent used car outright. I live in Alameda but after reading all of the Auto City reviews on Unilocal,I called Sam (owner/​manager of Auto City).
The reviews were completely accurate. Sam really is the greatest. He gave me an excellent price for my car and found a really good car for me.
It took a while for us to find the perfect vehicle — I only had about $ 1800 to spend — but I am thrilled with the car he found, a shiny black 2000 Grand Am SE-​1 in excellent condition with all the bells and whistles. Vrrrrrrroooooom!!!

My car had dull tail lights and it really reduced the car appearance, found this place on Unilocal and after reading the reviews here decided to give them a cal. talked to Sam and decided to come in the next day. I’m sure i could find someone closer but i’m very happy i made a short drive. my tail lights look brand new, the job was done very fast, i think it was around 30 min and that’s with an exterior car wash (just extra $ 10).
My head lights and fogs need some work too and i will be back in a couple of weeks to that.
Bottom line, Great service, awesome job, good price!!!

I brought my Camaro here to Charbel, who works in the detail shop to get my fender rolled. For those of you who don’t know what that is, when you put huge wheels and tires on a Camaro, they rub on the fender. To fix this the fender is heated and tucked up under the lip of the fender.
He charged me less than half of what it would have cost to have this service done at a big name auto sports shop in mountain view, and was available the day after I called him! (the other shop had a two week waiting list!).
I was very pleased with the work done.

Gotta give it up for this place. Cruising over Hwy 92 yesterday, a little tiny Honda kicked up a rock that hit my windshield pretty hard — left a serious divot in it. I knew that this was repairable, but also that it would become unmanageable quickly if the combo of hot/​cold grew (and in winter, definitely a strong likelihood of this happening).
I started calling around for glass repair places, and NO ONE was open on Saturdays. Finally got a hold of a windshield replacement dude, who told me his doesn’t fix them anymore, but to call Auto City, as they do a good job. So I did, they told me to swing by, and they did a fantastic job of repairing said divot. Very impressive to watch… totally professional, they did a great job of cleaning up, and they were about half the price of the big names in the biz.
Definitely a thumbs up!
