I have gone to so many different massage therapists through out my professional career. I have a profession that requires a lot of stress on my neck, shoulders and back. Roseanne is incredible beyond words. She is so in tune with the human body and knowledgeable beyond words. She is no frills, no foo foo. She will work every little muscle fiber and I always leave feeling instantaneously relieved! There is no one else that I will ever go to for a massage!

Roseanna is the best massage therapist I have ever seen, and I’ve been receiving weekly body work for over 10 years across three states. She has an amazing knowledge of anatomy and is a former nurse, so her ability to restore function and balance to the body is second to none. As an athlete, I also need a lot of pressure and she can deliver! I’ve gone in with a bad headache and walked out pain free. I’ve gone in just wanting a relaxation massage, and she pulls out the hot stones. She is also very kind, smart and has a great sense of humor. She will work in silence if that’s what you like, or chat about latest news in tech. Just talking about it is tempting me to blow my whole paycheck and book a massage every day! She is THAT good.

Roseanne provides the best care possible. She is very personable and knowledgeable in what she does. Her place is very homey and calming. Her methods are precise and accurate, you will definitely leave her place satisfied!

I cannot thank Rosanne enough. I hurt my back at work and booked in after reading Unilocal reviews. I saw her a couple of times and my lower back is 100% better. This is not a spa massage! This a therapeutic treatment, it’s not fancy, but the place is spotless and calming. Rosanne is extremely kind and I cannot thank her enough.

Roseanne is amazing. Honestly– she’s the best massage therapist I’ve ever been to, and 10x better than anyone else I have ever seen. If you are having any kind of back, shoulder neck etc. pain, go see her. I only wish I had found her sooner.
I’d been struggling with back and shoulder issues for a year. I did over six months of physical therapy, acupuncture, cortisone shots etc. and while I made progress I was still in pain and had some dysfunction. Then one day on a whim, I booked an 1.5 hour trigger point massage with Roseanne. My shoulder and back immediately felt so much better and my range of motion was significantly improved. I just visited her again because my shoulder was tightening up again, and I feel so much better!
Her studio is simple, nice and clean, and she uses natural products. It’s not a fancy spa if that is what you are looking for, but if you are looking for someone who is really talented, strong, skilled and knowledgeable she is it!

This was my first time having a personal massage, so I was a bit apprehensive. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by Roseanne. She was so warm and friendly, that all of my concerns were immediately forgotten. She made me feel so comfortable, and was not aware that it was my first time. She was genuine.
Now onto the massage:
It was like I died and went to heaven! Roseanne is truly an expert in her field! I scheduled my appointment for noon on a Saturday, and the weather was perfect. The downside was that I was so relaxed after that amazing massage, all I wanted to do is go back to my boyfriend’s house and sleep the day away!
Although I am new to the whole professional massage experience, I have no desire to explore other places.
I highly recommend Roseanne and Massage On Broadway. If you do not live in Redwood City, the experience is definitely worth the additional time and gas!

Pain, can be good. Hurt, can be good. It’s part of life. It’s ok, sometimes. Whether it’s a heart or a couple of legs. You learn your limits.
I hurt my legs trying to prove a point on a 50 mile ride through Marin on Sunday and have been broken since then, licking my wounds and trying to rebuild me-​self. Rubbed special pain stuff. Did a magnesium bath and drank all kinds of liquids, contemplating the error of my ways. Felt nauseated from the toxins and other stuff in my system all day the day after. Went for a swim, hot tub, steam and finally collapsed on the doorstep of MassageOnBroadway. Sort of.
Roseanne rocked it and was friendly and inviting. I’ve not been to many massage therapists, so that was a plus, me being a dude.
With what I would call seeming expert knowledge of the human anatomy, she got in and under every little bone/​muscle/​facia connection that you can fit an elbow/​finger/​hand.
Phew. I feel good. A lot better.
She let me bring my bike in the office too.

This probably sounds incredibly repetitive with all of these other reviews — but I’ll write it anyway. First, I have gone to various massage therapists over the years, sometimes driving a significant distance (which, of course, ruins the whole effect when you have to drive home). Never did I imagine someone as skilled as Roseanne was 5 minutes from my house. Also, I had paid more for massages that were not half as effective or enjoyable. I will not go anywhere else.
Besides being really good, responsive to your specific requests, etc. she clearly loves what she does. You can tell, she is invested in making people feel good in their bodies. My perspective on this is special — I have significant scoliosis. I have lived with some degree of pain for most of my life — and I like to be physically active, hiking, biking, and working out. To have someone give me the kind of treatment Roseanne does truly enhances my quality of life. Before my first massage, she spent time getting to know me, my painful areas, and my activities. On both visits she has generously given me extra time — more than I paid for. Now, I would certainly not claim that would happen for everyone, and I am not certain why I was so fortunate (maybe being the last appointment of the day?). However, it is just an indication that this is more than a business for Roseanne
Finally, besides the excellent work, she is an encouraging and affirming person — really kind and uplifting to be around. She works incredibly long hours, but is as cheerful and strong at 7:30 at night as she was at 10:30 in the morning. Making an appointment online and paying ahead are a snap — and you get a text message reminder, too. ;-)
She’s flat wonderful. Now, don’t go booking her all up so I can’t get an appointment.

LOOK NO FURTHER! Go see Roseanne! What an absolute gem! This is not the place you go to for a lotion rub down in a swanky spa-​like environment… No, this is where real work is done to get your body back in shape. I honestly never understood how massage therapy fit into a healthy ‘wellness’ type of plan/​lifestyle until I received a 90 minute massage from Roseanne. Game changer! There were parts of it that were relaxing, yes, but more than anything, she painstakingly worked out my kinks, knots, and overall insane muscle tension, and I felt like a new person walking out of her place! I will absolutely be returning to her and I will absolutely be making this a monthly or even bi-​monthly occurrence. Roseanne is sweet, thorough, and damn good at her job! She takes pride in her job and she is serious about taking care of you!

Roseanne is amazing. That’s all I can say. she has really helped me find the weak and tight spots in my legs and back and shoulders that all affect each other. And the strength in that woman’s hands! Was not expecting that. Be prepared for firm, but gentle if you ask for it… She’s great company and very fun. Highly recommended.

This review isn’t for the massage but for ordering gift certificates and customer service. I wanted to gift my father a massage and Roseanne seemed like the perfect person to go to. I ordered a certificate online which was really easy and painless. I gave her a call the next day and explained how it was a gift for the holidays. Roseanne went above and beyond to help me with the present. Although I haven’t received a massage from her, the customer service was excellent and it’s very evident that she wants to keep her clients happy. Thank you!

Roseanne is a CMT Elite. I had just an amazing massage with her. Even though I was often going «ouch, ouch… OUCH!» many a times, the end result was a strong and deep tissue massage that left no major area untouched. (Even some muscles that I didn’t know about in my throat!) She’s good… very good and she does her magic in a dimly lit room with soothing music. What more can you ask for?

One year later she’s as good as I remember from the last time. I give myself less stars for waiting so long to go back to her again. It hurt, but it’s so much better after. She’s the best. THE BEST!

Roseanne the owner, took such care of my friend and I. We walked in and her smile lit the room as bright as a candle. She was warm and friendly. I was given water, and took a seat on the couch. A major plus is that she accepts massages into the evening! Definitely the BEST way to relax after a stressful day at work.
Her hands were just so soothing. But she is firm and strong when you need. My knots were undone and I came out feeling as light as a feather.

Wow! I’ve had massage from many different therapists over the years, but Roseanne ranks with the best of them. As an athlete and a coach, I appreciate her knowledge of sports massage and of the demands of my sport (cycling). It hurt like hell (my fault for being dehydrated and neglecting massage and yoga for too long) but I feel amazing now. I’ll be a regular customer now.

Just had my second massage from Roseanne, had to have at least two before chiming in. I’d been seeing the same person up in San Francisco for 15 years, so was reluctant to look for a local massage therapist in Redwood city. I’m glad these reviews led me to Roseanne. She is exactly what I was looking for, strong, deep tissue body work that leaves no stone unturned. She not only open to feedback, but invites it so that she can meet your needs. I asked for 45min of deep tissue work w/​focus on certain areas and then 10−15min of Swedish at the end, winding down with work on the forehead/​scalp, and that’s exactly what I got. she threw in a couple of hot stones as well. Definitely a keeper.

I bought a Living Social coupon and I am sooooo glad I did. Roseanne is amazing! She found knots I didn’t even know I had. The place is clean and she is very professional yet friendly and easy to talk to — enough to get a hug after my massage! She really got deep into my neck and shoulders and worked the stress and knots away. This was definitely one of the top two massages I’ve had in my life. When they find the knots without you telling them where they are — to me that’s a great massage!!!
