Redwood City Chiropractic

Our family has been seeing Dr. Liz Youngerman since 2000. Her practice moved from Roosevelt Plaza to Woodside Road a few years ago. The new location is nice yet unpretentious, with private rooms for the patients. Dr. Youngerman and her assistant, Dora, are very kind and knowlegable and care much about healing a body.
Dr. Youngerman is very astute and a great listener. She has helped us with various issues over time, ranging from sports knee injuries, posture, and car accident injury; with wonderful results!
Fortunately for us, when my son incurred a knee injury from running, she asked many questions and was able to determine the cause was due to high arches in his feet causing inadequate support, causing his foot to roll in with each step, malaligning the shin, and therefore straining the knee. She had us imagine/​realize that if he is running for 5 miles at a time, he is basically balancing himself on one foot whether right or left, for a long time. She fitted him with orthotic foot supports, a very simple solution. It gave him the balance which alowed his knees to heal 100% within one season, without surgery of any kind. Had Dr. Youngerman not made the connection, he probably would have gone a different more painful and surgical route so this was happily avoided!
Dr. Liz connects very well with children. She has worked on both of my children with positive results. If you have a child who has an injury or a posture problem, I highly recommend her. She has excellent recoendations for enhancing the child’s life with healthy activities, lifestyle improvements, supplementation, based on her research and wealth of experience.
I also recommend Dr. Reza to adults with all sorts of needs. Most of her practice is adult.
Dr. Liz and Dr. Reza, a married couple, share the practice, and they have two locations.. She works MWF in Redwood City and TTh at the San Mateo location, while Dr. Reza works MWF in San Mateo, and TTh in Redwood City.

Our family have been going to Dr Reza since 2005. At first, we would go there every week or twice a week depending on our condition. Now that we are better, we only need to go in once a month for maintenance care. He checks to make sure that we are okay and everything is in alignment. He even adjust our little daughter. Every time after leaving his clinic, all of us sleep so well at night. We have since moved to Mountain View but we still drive back to see him in Redwood City because we really trust him. Dr Reza and his wife also own another clinic, called San Mateo Chiropractic on 41^st Ave. We love having two locations/​options to choose from :-) They are very flexible in their scheduling and both doctors and staff are extreme professionals. FYI, they moved from 2135 Roosevelt Ave to their current location a few months ago.

This is the BEST place to go! She takes her time and loves to help! Great staff, very affordable! WONDERFUL
