These guys came today and installed my holiday icicle lights on front of house. Came on time; got more lights as I did not have enough; good/​fair price. Called in AM and they came same day in PM.
Excellent.

I called Victor of V & G Window Cleaning and Housekeeping and we set an appointment for his team to come to my house in Emerald Hills and clean my windows. On the scheduled day nobody showed up and no one called to give a reason why they couldn’t make it. I tried calling them but Victor’s cell VM was always full and couldn’t accept any new messages. When I was finally able to leave him a message he texted me back and said his team could come out the next day at 1:00PM. I agreed and ask him to not forget this time. Again, nobody showed up or called. I left Victor a very nice text message asking if something came up and why wasn’t he able to get here-​again, no response.
Steer clear of this local, unreliable business… it’s not worth the headache or wasted time. Shocking they’re still in business given how flaky they are!

I have used this company to have my windows cleaned twice with good results. They even had to specially treat a couple windows by the pool due to calcification. I would definitely recommend. They even cleaned my carpet the same day when I realized they also provided that service. For people who can’t wait for a late appt. I wonder hat they do when they need to have furniture delivered, have cable service, or go to the doctor. Yes, It’s inconvenient when someone is late, but no need to give a bad review. The work is still good. Maybe Visitor should just start giving customers a «window» of time in which he will arrive. (pun intended)

Victor and the crew are courteous and thorough. If you want your windows sparkling clean and your carpet refreshed at a reasonable rate call them.

I’ve used V&G a few times. The first two times were excellent, but this last time our experience wasn’t very good at all. First, V&G didn’t show up or call for their original 9:00am appointment last week. At 10:30am, I finally called Victor and he said, «well, it’s raining,» which was true. But he didn’t call me to delay or reschedule, I called him and it was more than an hour after his expected arrival time.
We rescheduled to this week and Victor shows up a half hour late for our 1:00pm appointment. Instead of having a crew of three as he promised to do a three hour job, Victor dropped off one guy and left. He said he would be right back with his crew. Two and a half hours later, the guy was still alone when Victor finally returned with one other person. The three hours that the entire job was supposed to take — and that I cleared my afternoon for — was now over and the job was barely one-​third done. I stopped his crew after they finished the inside windows and we left the outside windows undone. It was about 5pm and I simply had to leave the house.
Victor apologized and charged me half — mainly because he only did half of the job. Now I have to find another company to do the outside and then reserve another half day to be here for them.
One consistent theme that I noticed in these Unilocal reviews is that Victor often arrives late and doesn’t call. That is simply unacceptable. Our time is just as valuable as his.
By the way, the quality of the work that was done was very good. I just have a problem with service providers that don’t show up on time, don’t call, don’t keep their word, and don’t respect your time.

We get our windows washed every year. Victor did a better job on our windows than last year’s guy… for $ 60 less. Cons: he was late and didn’t call, didn’t replace two screens, turned off our watering system and broke and old watering wand. Pros: He’s thorough, careful, quick and he feels really reliable and safe. He even cleaned the sills and razored off the difficult stuff.

What a beautiful job these folks did on my windows. I was nervous because I was getting m;y house ready to sell and photographers were arriving the next day (also my windows and screens had been neglected for years.) When V & G was done, right on time, every window sparkled. A great job, efficiently and carefully done for a reasonable price. They even scraped bits of paint off the windows.

These gentleman have washed the windows in my townhouse, as well as the 2 townhouses next to me, for several years now. They do a wonderful wonderful job. They are very nice, very considerate, very friendly. They are very thorough– they even washed all the skylights! They rock!

I’m giving Victor a single star because I can’t choose anything less. He’s never on time and the work is average at best. I won’t hire him again and recommend the same for those that read this post.

If you don’t mind having a service appointment set up with this company, plan your day around it and then they don’t show up after waiting all day for them, then go for it. We tried to connect with them to find out why they were so late at first (1 ½ hr), just got the run around that they didn’t have our phone number then said they would be there in 30 – 45 min. They never showed or called. We used this company a number of years ago and remember having a somewhat similar issue with them, but we thought we would give them another chance. Never again.

We love this company. They are thorough and timely! despite the naysayer below. We used them many times and highly recommend them.

We hired Victor after a couple of referrals from a local mother’s club. We were extremely disappointed. While he was very nice and professional when we spoke to him on the phone, when it came time for the job, we were extremely disappointed. The screens that were supposed to be washed had dirt on them that I could easily wipe clean with a baby wipe and despite 3 attempts at asking the workers to do a better job, there was still visible and easily wipeable dirt on the windows after washing. We then called Mr. Victor himself to take a look at the work and he refused to come to the house. He then sent another woman to tell us if we wanted the windows cleaned thoroughly, we would need to pay more for «detailing». I left a couple voice mail messages with him that I was disappointed, and there was no call back and he never came to look at the job himself. Don’t waste your money and find another service if you want clean windows!

We hired Victor for cleaning our condo between tenants. He gave us a quote and promised to be there by 11am on Monday. We waited for 45 minutes and he didn’t show up or pick up our calls. An hour later we called from a different phone, Victor answered and told us he couldn’t make it, and that he had «forgotten» to call us. He said he would come by 1pm. He didn’t show up then either and finally at 2, cancelled on us. This after confirming by email and phone that he would be there. Thankfully, we were able to hire another cleaner at short notice. I would most definitely not recommend V&G for housecleaning services.

Mr. Victor arrived promptly, gave a very fair price for carpet cleaning, had excellent equipment and staff, were very careful about my antiques and placed paper squares under my furniture to prevent staining, he did an excellent job, my carpet wasn’t over soaked with water, and dried within 14 hours. A perfect job which is rare. I was extremely satisfied with Mr. Victor and would definitely hire his company again. He also polished my hardwood floors with a huge industrial machine. Used the best wax, and buffing methods.
