History

Established in 2002.

Go Fish is celebrating its 10th year, we opened in 2002 as a take out and after the first incredible summer we knew we wanted to become a full service restaurant so that our customers could enjoy us year round! We are now open 7 days a week year round. We have won many awards including «Best value meal» and” Best Fish and Chips” by Delaware Today magazine readers as well as being touted «One of the shore’s best eats» by The Washington Post. Our house dessert, Sticky Toffee Pudding was featured on The Today Show and was also touted the «Best dinner in Rehoboth» by The Today Show’s Hoda Kotb.

British born and raised owner, Alison Blyth wanted to bring a piece of her home country to Rehoboth, as a long time and successful restaurateur she decided to roll out go fish! and bought the tasty food she grew up on to the States. Please come and try it for yourself, we think you will agree with our British customers that this is «better than back home!» We look forward to your visit!

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Alison Blyth’s passion for food runs in her blood. She grew up surrounded by people who loved to cook, including her mother, a professional baker, and her brother, a trained chef.

Blyth, who moved from England to the States in 1980, gained experience in Washington, D.C., restaurants. In 1988, she opened the popular La La Land in Rehoboth Beach, followed in 1997 by Yum Yum, a Pan-​Asian bistro.

In 2002, she opened go fish!, a fish-​and-​chips takeout shop. It was so wildly popular that she transformed the business into a 40-​seat restaurant.

Blyth isn’t about to rest on her chips. She has plenty of ideas – and the determination to make them a reality.
