Johnstone Studios specializes in great client relationships, wedding, and portrait photography. Our photographers are experienced, professional, and most importantly fun and personable. This is not a cheesy portrait studio.

We aim to create contemporary, yet timeless images of weddings, engaged couples, families, children and infants, high school seniors, professional headshots, and even our four legged best friends.

Our studio team specializes in delivery of service with a hands on approach from the pre consultation to the final delivery of your images ensuring you get a personable five star experience.

History

Established in 2005.

Johnstone Studios began as a boutique wedding photography team comprised of Tourine and Trevor Johnstone who had a vision to provide exceptional customer service and an artistic vision to their clients.

Over the years, we have expanded our studio to include portraits of families, children and infants, high school seniors, couples and individuals including professional headshots, and of course continue to create amazing wedding photos for our couples.

We have continued to expand and grow and are one of the largest commercial portrait studios operating in midtown Reno. We not only have a studio location for portrait shoots, but travel to destinations within and outside the Reno/​Lake Tahoe area for weddings, commercial shoots, and family portrait sessions.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Tourine’s love for people and photography began years ago with late nights in a dark room processing black and white film portraits. Fast forward to 2004 when she married her husband and business partner, Trevor. It was that experience that drove them, Trevor a graphic designer and fine artist and Tourine a photographer with a Master of Art Degree, to create Johnstone Studios with the number one goal to create a photography studio that not only took great editorial and artistic wedding photos, but focused on great client relationships. As they have grown into a fully operating commercial portrait studio their focus still remains on providing the best customer relations and beautiful photography to clients.

Tourine and Trevor have acquired honors and awards for their work and enjoyed traveling and creating lasting relationships with their clients. They have 3 energetic and talented children that keep them busy when they aren’t creating photographs for their clients.
