We are a Lube Center that specializes in ALL automotive repair including but not limited to Brakes, Tune-​ups, Check engine diagnosis, Smog Checks/​Repairs. All repairs completed by our ASE certified master technician. We also provide vehicle re-​registration with any Smog Test.

Established in 1996.

A Safe Lube Plus has been under the same ownership since1996 and the same manager since 2001 Our business has grown well over the years, because… We believe It is wrong to sell a service that is not needed.

I Have been in the lube business since 1995. Started as a part time Tech at a major lube center in the south bay quickly worked my way up to manager. Then moved to Reno in 1999 continued to work for the same lube center for 2 years. Then I was introduced to the owner of A Safe Lube Plus. I found that we had mutual opinions on how customers should be treated and felt that I could build a solid business based on my beliefs of customer service gained through many years of automotive maintenance.

These guys are wonderful! They had my car in and out in 10 minutes; I didn’t even have to get out. They were friendly, and very efficient. I’ve never been so pleased with an oil change before. The prices were affordable, and they never pressured me into buying anything I didn’t need. I’ll definitely be back the next time my car needs some TLC!

Very impressed! Super nice group of guys. Had us in and out in under 10 minutes. To our surprise they found lots of dog food in our air filter housing. Even though it clogged their vacuum several times, they kept at it until it was clean. Will definitely be going back for future oil changes!

I was very nervous thinking about getting an oil change on my BMW since this was my first one. My car was telling me it was time! This place was recommended to me by my friend, so I decided to take the plunge and drive on over there. They told me since its a BMW I need to make an appointment, however since they had an open bay they could do it. Everyone was very friendly. The did a great job and even washed my very dirty windows from the snow! The price was reasonable as well for a BMW. I am very satisfied and will be bringing my car back every time it needs an oil change or something else. My husband who usually does the oil change on his truck, will be bringing it there now! If you have a BMW or Mercedes Benz or similar car, just be sure to make an appointment.

Ive been here a few times (in my pre-​yelp days) and always enjoyed the quick service but today i was extremely impressed. I pulled up, got an oil change, a smog check, and paid my registration in 30 minutes. On top of it all they cleaned my windows, filled my washer fluid, filled my coolant (which I had in the car), and filled up my tires with air.
I wish that everywhere I went I was this efficient with my time!
Everything about this trip was impressive but for me, the best part was how well their team worked together. As I sat there I watched what was going on around me and there were at least 4 people (that I could count) that helped me. Now that is impressive! It was also really awesome that everyone that talked to me actually greeted me first. Instead of just asking me a question they said hello. I know it seems trivial but it still really sticks out in my mind.
I recommend these guys to anyone! Local is always better and these guys give local business a great name!

I moved here from San Diego over a year ago and this is the ONLY place I get my car worked on. The guys here are so friendly and knowledgeable I don’t know why you’d go anywhere else. Last time we were there Cuo worked on our Navigator and had it done quicker than I ever expected. The prices are the best in town and we honestly love coming here. Thanks again guys for all your hard work!!!

Always helpful and nice! My oil guage went out and I pulled in there because it was close. They checked the oil and the engine for any problems. Didn’t charge me!
Have smogged and registered my car here for years, as well as oil changes. Same employees every time, which tells me they like their job.
If you want honest, friendly service this is the place!

These guys are great. I always come here for an oil change. And, because my car leaks oil, I get free top offs until my next needed oil change! I work some crazy hours and I don’t have time to waste, these guys are fast and really friendly. I will never go anywhere else!

I have only used Safe Lube (I can’t get my mind out of the gutter) for smog checks, but we always come here and I was debating using another place because I found a coupon in the mailers. I Unilocaled and the reviews were not as good as when I Unilocaled here and discovered excellent reviews so I decided why change? Plus support small business.
I also discovered a coupon which they were happy to take, thank you!
Fast and friendly.

Drove up, there was no wait… Jimmy guided us into the dock. We got to sit in the truck while all these guys worked on it. I wonder if it was inappropriate to tell Jimmy he could just stand there and let me look at him? LOL

Came in for an oil change, it was done in less than 5 minutes while the guys filled my tires and cleaned my windshield. Also found out I had a problem with the EGR (whatever that is) and they immediately began to work on it. Honest and friendly guys, excellent service.

Wow! I found this place by Googling for oil change opportunities on a Sunday. The reviews were up and down, but I figured I would give it a shot.
And I am SO GLAD I did!
Normally I wouldn’t take my spirited daughter with me to an oil change, because they take forever, and she gets a little restless in the waiting room. At Safe Lube, you STAY IN YOUR CAR – and not for long! It was SO GREAT! I learned more about my car during that oil change than ever before!
The guys were very nice, especially to my daughter. They conversed and joked with us as they quickly took care of my car, and informed me of the status of things, and showed me where air filters and other nonsense was located. ;)
At Safe Lube you get more than an oil change; you get educational entertainment! Thank you!

Found this place because of a recommendation from a friend. After getting stung (twice no less) by one of their competitors I’m glad I came here.
This trip was for 2 E-​350 moving trucks that my company owns. It took about 10 minutes per truck. No hard sell on anything, everything is recorded on camera and you can watch what they’re doing, as they are doing it. It’s great that they have very tall bays that can fit the moving trucks as well as RV’s etc.
This is now going to be the only place we bring the moving trucks and one of the only 2 places I’ll take my personal vehicles.

The Owner Tim is a greedy old man. I was traveling with no access to print their $ 5 coupon. I used them before. I will go elsewhere from now on. I was lectured by Tim on how to not tell him to do business and he has been successful for 16 years. I tried to explain to him my situation and he didn’t care. I have been successful for 20 years in business and recognize cluelessness when I see it.
Please use a different place because it’s clear you are not valued as a customer.
This was a simple customer service issue that boss high would not resolve. Avoid this business.
