The Stylish Scribe

I am not sure where to even begin with this review. All I can say is if I had to start our wedding planning process again the only thing I wish we had done differently would be find Jessica at the stylish scribe sooner! She has been an absolute pleasure to work with and is so incredibly creative! Any questions I have she answers immediately and she has always been available through phone, text, and email… Now that’s commitment to your business and being successful! We had her make some luggage tag magnet save the dates to reflect our tropical destination wedding. Then we were so in love with the product that we worked with her to create put invitations. She is incredibly creative and really listens to what you want and your style (and budget!). All of our guests who have gotten our save the dates and invitations LOVE them just as much as we do. I could go on and on all day about what an amazing experience it was to work with Jessica. But I think the fact that I had to ask what other products she could develop for our special day speaks for itself, we adore Jessica and all of the products we have purchased from her!

We wanted our wedding invitations to be elegant, classic, have a luxurious look but most important be UNIQUE! We started looking on line for examples of boarding passes as invitations and saw so many options. Once we saw the examples of the Stylish Scribe we started to compare all other companies to them. NOT one stood up and was even close to comparable in design. Honestly, Jessica’s designs are beautiful and simple. She has the best customer service and uses high quality paper. As soon as I saw our invitation in person, I couldn’t wait to mail them to our guests. They were so stunning and even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I also loved that Jessica was willing to produce two separate versions, one in Enlish and one in Portuguese. Our families live in Brazil and USA so it was important that all of them felt included. So beautiful and great prices!

My name is Courtni and I found jessica after weeks of searching for a local stationary company for my August wedding. I loved Jessica’s work and was very confident about getting the look I wanted with her. I came in for a consultation just to get an idea of pricing and the work she does. Jessica was supposed to send me samples of my save the dates. I never got them. I even won some contest on Instagram. She contacted me after I won to explain what my prize was but I never heard from her after that. Not sure if she just didn’t want to work with me or what?! Kinda bummed cuz I really wanted to work with her but when it comes to wedding business there’s no room for error. Her work is amazing I just wish we had a better understanding on communication

Jessica was AMAZING!!! She kept me in the loop everytime, all the time. Answered all my questions and made me feel like a priority. Planning a wedding is not easy and comes with much stress. Having Jessica available around the clock to consult with relieved me about my deadlines and invitation concerns. Thanks to her the theme of my wedding should be a HUGE success! and I will be using her in the future. Cheers!

My fiancé (now husband) and I met with Jessica for a consultation for our wedding invitations and we really liked her. She was nice and had some wonderful ideas for our invitations. We worked on a design and I loved what we came up with as they were exactly what I was looking for. We left the meeting telling Jessica that we wanted to book with her and she said she would be emailing us some information along with a questionairre of some sort.
About two weeks went by and I did not hear anything from Jessica. I was a bit worried at this point as we didnt have much time before the invitations needed to go out. But I thought for sure she would get back to me after reaching out to her. Well after three more weeks of trying to get ahold of her by email and phone and getting no reply whatsoever, my fiancé and I finally had to move on to another invitation deisgner. At this point, we were running very behind and had to pay more for our invitations then we ever wanted to in order to get them on time. Jessica left us high and dry and in a very bad position to where we barley got our invitiations out in time. She never called or emailed us at all after our meeting. She completely blew us off. Out of the entire wedding planning process, this was by far the worst experience I had and I do not recommend Stylish Scribe for any of your invitiation needs.

Jessica has made my boys birthday invitations every year now. And this years fifth birthday invitation came out perfect!!! I’m so happy with it so thank you stylish sctibe for the best paper products and designs in Reno!!!

We had passport wedding invitations for our destination wedding and had everything custom made. Jessica was so easy to work with through the MANY revisions we had. We have received so many compliments on the originality of our invitations. Most of our guests said they have never seen so beautiful. We were very pleased.

We just received our passport invitations for our wedding in Cabo, and absolutely love them! Jessica was great! She was so patient with all my emails back and forth with changes and questions, and always responded quickly! Not only are our invitations super cute and unique, they were really affordable! The invitations didnt turn out exactly how we expected, but Jessica did offered and did everything she could to recitify the situation. I would highly recommend this company to anyone! Jessica did a great job with our wedding invites. She was off the day we came and she drove and cancelled her day off just to sit with us. I could not be happier with the boarding pass invitations Jessica designed for our destination wedding. She was so easy to work with and answered emails right away. She was able to customize the invitations for us so we got exactly what we wanted, no matter how big or small the change we requested. I was so surprised to see how beautiful even the invitations were. I was expecting just a plain envelope with the names printed. What I got was a customized envelope with our chosen flower on the front and beautiful font. The entire process was incredibly easy and quick. The price was also exceptional for the amount of detail and customization we were able to get. I could not recommend The Stylish Scribe more highly.

Wedding invitations were absolutely beautiful. I ordered the boarding pass invitations as we had a destination wedding in Hawaii and everyone thought they were fantastic. I chose a design and Jessica customized them for me. She was quick to respond to any questions although I asked for my invitations to be ready for early December and I received them a month later. This was due to me being in Australia and the invites being in transit over the Christmas period (very busy) but in the end I’d wished I’d gotten them couriered instead of regular USPS. As I was quite frantic and upset that my invites were a month late, Jessica told me she’d throw in thank you cards for being so patient. I’ve had many compliments on the invitations saying that they were the nicest anyone has seen :)

Loved our Passport invitations! There is nothing traditional about our Jamaican wedding and our invitations were no exception. Jessica exceeded our expectations and was a pleasure to work with. She does one of a kind work at an affordable price.

First of all… Jessica is amazing! She was nice, prompt and over all just a pleasure to work with. She helped me create exactly what I wanted for our invitations. Everyone that I know disliked the invitation process… mine on the other hand was fairly easy and a pleasure to do. :)

Nothing about our destination wedding was traditional, and our wedding invitations were no exception.
We checked out all of the typical invitations — went to Papyrus, shopped online, etc. Nothing really met our needs. Besides, when it comes down to it, wedding invitations are expensive… so why not get something you really like?
Jessica, owner of the Stylish Scribe, took great care of us and worked with us to create an invitation that made both my husband and I happy with the finished product (e.g., the price was acceptable for my hubby and I loved the design).
I was very impressed with Jessica’s professionalism and creativity. We received so many compliments about our invitations — which looked like boarding passes. In fact, I think it enticed more people to come to our wedding than we ever expected. Oops!
Seriously, if you are looking for something a bit unconventional and have some time to work creatively with the Stylish Scribe, I would highly recommend you give this company a shot.
