We specialize in homemade pizza. Our recipes have been proven with 54+ years in the business and they are guaranteed fresh. If you love mom and pop places you will love us. We have delicious subs, homemade spaghetti and meatballs and so much more.

History

Established in 1961.

My parents, Vick and Louise, originally started in the pizza business at Cys Pizza in 1958, then 3C Pizza. In 1961 they created Vick’s at the current Reynoldsburg location. They handed down the Pizzeria to us in 1978. We take great pride in serving you the best pizza by preparing our dough fresh daily with whole milk, eggs, sugar, high gluten flour, and a few other special ingredients. We also have our special sauce which is one of the many things we are famous for. We cook it a few hours to bring out the flavor of all those great spices we add garlic, oregano, parmesan cheese, and a couple of other things that gives it that taste that sets us apart. We also use the best quality cheese, which is a combination of mozzarella and provolone. When you eat our pizza you know it’s Vick’s! I first heard of Vicks from a friend who raved about the pizza. I went on Unilocal to see what other customers had to say. The majority of the reviewers had mostly positive comments regarding Vicks.
Tonight I purchased a large pep and an Italian sub. The total came to $ 22.00…a little pricey. The pizza… the pizza was decent the cheese and crust were good but it was lacking SAUCE. If it had more sauce I would give the pizza a A but due to the lack of sauce and grease I’ll give it a B-​, the wife gives it a C+.
Next, the sub it was garage it had enough meat but had zero sauce it was dry. My wife couldn’t finish hers… Overall I’ll give Vicks 3 stars.
Oh the on street parking can be difficult during peak hours

I’m not sure I would call it «gourmet,» but I *would* call it good. The service is an acquired taste, but I’ve come to enjoy the owner. Their daily specials are an awesome value, but swing by the supermarket for drinks if you’re getting take-​out. Good selection, but pricey. The inside is small and the booths are tight. I only do take-​out. Front entrance is *not* accessible, but there is a ramp in the back (if you can find it) that opens into the side of the building. It’s good, maybe even really good… my only hesitation in calling it more than that is that there isn’t much decent competition to compare it to in the surrounding neighborhoods.

This place is dear to me as it was the FIRST place that I went to after I moved here to Columbus. Now, be warned, its a VERY small non-​descript place that you’re more than likely to miss if you don’t know exactly where it is but, once you find it, you’ll be glad that you did. It’s very reminiscent of an old college pizzeria, one that you’d find in Animal House. LOL! But the prices are definitely pocket friendly and it reminds you of what an old-​school pizzeria is supposed to be. Unfortunately, I’m not able to get there as often as I’d like but, don’t let that stop you!

We picked Vick’s based on the reviews, we were pleasantly surprised!!! Our food arrived in the time frame they gave us, it was fantastic!!! We ordered the extreme cheese and extreme pepperoni, side salad, jalapeño poppers and garlic bread all was excellent!!! Definitely recommend this place!!!

I just got a large pepperoni pizza from there. It was supposed to be an EXTRA pepperoni pizza. STEEERIIIKE! It tasted ordinary. Veeeery ordinary. STEEERIIKE TWO! The parking? Just a block away, in a gravel lot, with a sign marking the lot that you can’t see from the road. STEEERIIIKE THREE! YER OUT!!! Pizza Cottage approaches the batter’s box…

Always looking for local places when we’re out of town and this was a great find. Place is set up for takeout or delivery as there are only 5 tables to sit, minimal parking, and the service is just OK.
But the food was well worth it. Chicken Parmesan was outstanding and the homemade sauce was fresh and full of flavor.
We also got a Philly Cheese Steak and that was just as good. Ribeye meat, cheese and veggies filled the bun and and was very tasty.
Would have liked to sample the pizza, but we were too stuffed.
If we’re ever back in the area, we will definitely return.

Family owned little pizza joint. Very popular with the locals. We had a Wednesday evening takeout pizza. Unilocal gave us $ 2 off with a Check-​in. They deserve the recognition they receive from the Tomato Capital (Reynoldsburg) for great sauce. They also brag of a crisp crust. It may be conveyor crisp, but not deck oven crisp. We also found the thin crust (only crust) a little thicker than most thin. About #2 pencil thin.
The pepperoni was fantastic. Not mild, but with flavor and zip. If you like yours like a curled up quarter with a puddle of grease, this is for you.
Parking is difficult. Bring as many as you can in as few as possible vehicles.
The staff was friendly on the phone and at the counter. I did not see a handicap entrance. Maybe it’s through the back. It certainly wasn’t the stairs out front. I was there last summer, and do not recall air conditioning.

Spot on! Great pizza, great service and delivered hot! I highly recommend the boneless garlic chicken «wings» as a side! The Italian dressing has an awesome sweet flavor, if you like salads.

Went over tonite to try something new. We got a stromboli and appetizers. The stromboli was excellent. The apps were okay. I really found the stromboli to have an excellent tasting crust with the crunch and the filling was so delicious.

Had my first visit with a friend this weekend. The pizza was delightfully tasty. Prices were very reasonable. Staff was super friendly. Street parking was limited, so you can park at the doctor office lot adjacent to the pizza shop. I will be back often!

We were looking for a change of pace on pizza. We read all the positive reviews on Unilocal,so we decided to give it a try. The pizza is amazing, it is a classic thin crust with superior toppings. The pepperoni was real pepperoni that tasted like it was prepared and cut at Vick’s today. WE will be back again and again.

Very solid pie, and one I’ve sampled on many an occasion now that I’m working in the area. One of the first things I asked when I took over my store was where’s the best pizza in town, and please don’t say Pizza Hut…
This was the recommendation by two of the people on my staff, and they’re not far off. Very good crust, crispy but not overly. Toppings are very good and fresh (well, not that I’ve ever had non-​fresh meat); the sausage sizable chunks and the pepperonis the nice little grease cups. As implied there, a spot greasy but not overly-​so, good cheese, forgettable sauce.
They also offer a ridiculously sized and well priced pie known as the Raider, and it’s a beast. It’s normally what I order when getting food for the staff, and on Saturdays it comes with a free order of cheesy garlic bread.

7 WORDS: Decent Pizza /​Average Sides/​Comfy Pizza Restaurant
A RAINY TUESDAY IN OCTOBER
We were looking for something different but we were in the mood to eat at a restaurant, so we ordered a pizza we hadn’t tried in a long time.
We ordered a Medium Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza and cheesy bread ahead of time, so it was actually ready by the time we got there. When we arrived, our food was ready to go, so we brought it home.
The pizza sauce is slightly tangy, but nothing too overpowering. The toppings are a mix of good and decent. The pepperoni was sort of average, small rounds that curled slightly on top of the pizza. The mushrooms, on the other hand, were fresh and tasted slightly like roasted steak mushrooms — which was really great, but the crust was a little soggy and the cheesy bread was completely average too. Also I was a little upset with this trip to Vick’s and it was less than I remembered. Still, I can see how someone would be a fan — especially if you like the small but cozy type of restaurant.
