Spring Pointe Apartments

I usually don’t write reviews but I am really frustrated. I moved to Springpointe with high hopes that this would be a great place to live because the location was great. From the time I moved in I seen that the apartment was not up to par. The paint job was very sloppy, the microwave did not work, the dishwasher was filled with water, and the fridge still had food it. These issues were just in the kitchen alone. The lock on the front door was loose. The master bathroom had cracked title and the faucet in the shower seemed to be coming out of the wall. To make matters worse the apartment had roaches. The apartment smelled heavily of bug spray. It had previously been sprayed. However that did not seem to kill them. I reported the issue to management and was informed that they would spray, A couple of weeks after spraying I still continued to see more roaches, I informed management. They came out and sprayed again. This still did not klll them. I asked to be moved to another apartment and I was informed this was something that can not be done. It has been quite the experience sleeping with the lights on each night. Needless to say I am the mercy of my lease. After this experience within only a month you would think they would be able to accomidate. I am very unsatisfied. Let my experience be your lesson as to what to expect. To think I looked at a dozen or more other apartment complexes and choose to come here.

Very neglectful management since the day I moved in. The office was closed on most days that I stopped by prior to their posted hours on the door. I had ongoing air conditioner problems that were never properly addressed. Look elsewhere, you can definitely do better.

When I gave my notice to move out I gave a 60 day notice, but spoke with the manager about whether they could rent the place earlier. I made a verbal agreement with them to be out 30 days early because they had a person that really wanted the apartment right away. Now they are threatening me with $ 4000 worth of early move out fees because they want me to pay for something that was listed on my move in report. I either agree to that or they will charge me more… and even said in an email they new we had a verbal agreement but because I didn’t have it in writing they didn’t have to honor it.
As far as living there goes, the place is a mess. They have curb side trash pick up and they let people put trash on the curb days before pick up. Every time you drive through there you can see bags of trash everywhere. I called and reported rats (and I had pictures) and what they did to help was drop of rat bait in my apartment. I do not suggest moving here at all.
