History

Established in 2013.

Founded in February, 2013, A-​Touch Lighting instantly became recognized as Northern California’s low price leader in special event lighting services. We provide affordable celebration lighting for all our clients by avoiding the usual operating costs which are associated with similar businesses in our industry. We don’t have a traditional storefront and never spend a penny on advertising, which saves us thousands of dollars in expenses each month, a savings we pass along to our clients. With more than 15 years experience in the food/​hospitality/​catering industry and another 5 years in hotel/​resort operations, «Tank» finally discovered his true passion in life, special event lighting and production, while involved in an annual conference held for catering execs in San Francisco, CA. Less than two weeks later, Tank had packed his belongings destined for the bay, where he would spend the next 5 years immersed in the Event Production and Entertainment/​Media Industry learning as much as he possibly could.

When asked what factors played the biggest role in his bold yet risky decision to pack everything up, change his career path at almost 40 yrs of age and roll the dice on lighting, Tank has been quoted as saying,

«It wasn’t a choice. Not for long anyhow. The more I learned about lighting, the more I loved it. And the more I loved it, the more I wanted to experiment and learn. Tank began his most recent venture, A-​Touch Lighting (an instant success) in February, 2013.
