Angie’s was sold and has a new cook and the food is not as good as it was. The enchiladas are not the same, nor are the beans and rice. Probably won’t be going back.

Visited when just opened. Good, authentic food, family friendly.

Good food, large portions, family friendly and reasonably priced! Try it and I guarantee you’ll love it! I did.

Stopped by this place on a total fluke yesterday. my family and i were in the mood for burritos and such so it was a good fit. I was a bit thrown off by how empty the place was but after being nformed the place is only two weeks going strong it was justified. we were seated kindly by the owner himself when my mother informed me this was the old bbq place (also that the barbeque had sucked so it was not really a loss to the area.). we looked over the menu which was mostly in spanish which i considered a good sign of authenticity. However our waiter may have realized that our spanish was sub-​par and offered to go over it with us. He let us know that the special of the day was ribs with rice or pasta w/​salad. My mother took him up on this immediatly. my baby brother (who is skeptical at best about new restuarants) went with a plain burrito. when i say plain… i mean plain. only rice, beans, cheese and sour cream. He’s the only 6 year old vegetarian i know. after looking over the menu a few mor times i opted for the papusa plate knowing full well that not everyones papusas kick ass like how papusas are supposed to. but when the food arrived the portions blew my mind. even the basket of tortilla chips that had been placed on our table was huge! without a moments hesitation we all dug in. the papusas were piping hot and oozing with cheese and meat. the rice and beans were as i suspected after a bite of my papusa. tasty tasty tasty. my mom offered me a rib from her plate and i must say the meat was super tender and flavorful. The boss man admitted to concocting the yummy sauce they were smeared in that morning. All i have to say is bravo for the gual to create a suace which was obviously made with time, love and effort. my brother who rarely finishes anything had inhaled his entire burrito before i could break a piece off that thang. something he rarely does. I have faith that with food and service like this angies will become a community staple that will be around for many years to come. Go and enjoy! NOW!!!
