These guys are the best. This is the only place I go these days. I trust Jack and these guys implicitly. Integrity and good service plus very reasonable prices.

I have been going to Hall’s for the last few years, and they are great. Friendly, knowledgeable, fair, and honest. I recommend them to all my friends and family!

Such great service, took me in without any appointment for tire service. The nicest guys in the business. I contacted them due to the excellent Unilocal reviews and they did not disappoint. I saw a honest hard working crew.

Friendly people, quality service. I’m seldom left speechless, but that is how I left Hall’s Tire & Auto Service. I hardly write reviews on Unilocal,but I just had to share my experience. 1. Because it was unexpected and 2. I’ve had so many Car Shops do nothing by take my money and provide service that didn’t fix my problem.
I stopped in to Hall’s Tire and Auto Service adamant that I needed two new run flat tires. They were flat, there was no denying it. Run flat tires are most costly and you cannot repair them, but that is what my car takes. I was prepared for the damage. However, after a few minutes of waiting, the gentlemen who was going to fix my flats came in to where I was sitting and said the valves to my tires were loose and told me I do not need new tires. He fixed it, handed me my keys and wished me a good day. Talk about incredible customer service! For any of my future tire and auto needs, I will be going to Hall’s. I hope you do too.

This repair shop is tucked away, somewhat hidden, but I had an excellent experience. They have very reasonable prices for labor and work performed. I was new to the area and found this shop here on the site. It lived up to the previous ratings. The staff was friendly and helpful and went a little bit extra if needed. They were even able to accommodate my schedule and squeeze me in this week before I went back to work. I would recommend that you stop by and get a quote for any repairs needed, I was pleased with my tires, service, and repairs.

I have been here two times so far for routine things such as a state inspection and oil change. The employees are very friendly. I was able to come in on the last day of the month for an inspection and they didn’t get flustered with me about it and were able to fit me in. They open at 7:30, which is great and if you get there right when they open you can be done by 8:30 or 9 for a basic appointment. I also don’t ever feel like they treat me differently as a women. A lot of car repair shops will try to add in extra work because I’m a woman, but these guys are straight and to the point. I really appreciate that and will definitely continue going here for my routine maintenance, and hopefully I won’t have to see them about anything major soon.

So having to get any type of work done on your car is never fun. I don’t care if you go to the Chocolate Factory to get it done, having to find a good mechanic, spend the money, and sit there and wait is a chore and a half.
I was on my way home to have a glorious «me night». I had been to a fun event and out to eat, so I was looking forward to grabbing a Red Box movie and some Bev’s ice cream and setting up camp when I got home. That is… until… I heard that awful «clunk clunk clunk» noise as I was driving down the street. It didn’t sound too good at all, so I pulled over to check it out. Lo and behold, my rear right tire was completely flat and had a pretty substantial hole in it. Ugh!
So, fast forward to the next day. I pulled up Unilocal to find a good tire place. You see I’m reviewing Halls so can you guess where I ended up? That’s right. I had to go see what all the fuss was about. I called them to confirm that they could take me that day and they could. I rolled up in their no-​frills spot and was greeted immediately by Mr. Hall himself. He cracked a few jokes about my shoes and made me feel at ease. Maybe I was visibly uncomfortable and he could tell, but either way I did feel better after talking to him. So, I went inside to get started. They knew exactly what to do and within minutes the guy came back in (ahhh can’t believe I forgot his name!) with the bad news that my tire couldn’t be fixed (RIP) and that they were pretty worn down so I needed some new ones anyway. While he was talking all I was hearing was cha-​ching! cha-​ching! in my head.
He sat down with me and patiently explained the reasons why I should get at least 2 new tires, showed me the tires he recommended, and went over why he recommended those particular tires. I feel like I learned a lot from him and I could trust his opinion. I didn’t feel like he was trying to take advantage of a young girl who doesn’t know anything about cars. I went with his tire recommendation and sat in the waiting area until they were done. The place is definitely no frills (like I said before), but it gets the job done. The chair was surprisingly comfy and the wifi was on point my friends.
Can’t recommend Hall’s enough! They will be my first stop next time something happens to my poor car.

First of all let me tell you, this is hands down the best service experience I’ve ever had. So if that is enough stop looking and give Hall’s a call.
I needed two new tires and after calling several places I called Hall’s. Mr Hall was excellent and did some price shopping for me and got me the best deal on a great set of BFGoodrich tires. He had them ordered and would be able to mount them first thing in the morning.
Upon arriving, I was pleasantly greeted by the staff. Mr Hall had everything ready to go I handed my keys over. In about 45 minutes, I had the new tires on and ready to go. They even moved things out of my trunk because I was already packed for Thanksgiving travel.
I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. All the technicians are nice and very knowledgeable.
They also provide WiFi while you wait which was perfect for some work I needed to get done.
If I lived in Richmond, this would be my regular shop hands down. Thanks for everything.

These guys are great! I’ve been here a few times for regular service check-​ins and oil changes. They are prompt and always take care of you. Staff is super friendly and I’ve never had to make an appointment.

I’m sorry but my experience with them was odd. It’s as if they didn’t want to do the work. Turns out I told my dealer that I really was trying to save and you know what? Sheehy beat Hall’s price by well over $ 170 ! Lol. What a pleasant surprise! I’m sorry… can’t really recommend Halls right now. Maybe someday

Fantastic service, extremely friendly and helpful. You can’t see it from the road but don’t let that deter you from coming.

Fantastic! I called ahead of time to order a new tire for my car in which I had a flat they day before and they said they could get it that day! Other places have taken up to a week to get me a new tire.
The change was quick.
I even had my two year old with me, which is sometimes difficult to entertain, but they had toys, cable and crayons to help keep her behaved.
They were all pleasant to speak to and very friendly!
I’ll go here to get my wheel baring replaced, and any other issue my car will spring on me.

Had a screw in my tire and noticed that my tire pressure was a little low. Thought I’d take my car to Firestone Tire center to get it checked out. They told me that it would be at least 3 hours before anyone even laid a finger on my car. Decided to take my chances elsewhere.
After a quick Google search I stumbled upon Halls Tire & Auto Service. A family business that has apparently been around since the late 40’s. Friendly staff and I only had to wait a grand total of 5 minutes before someone was already fixing my tire.
I can safely say that I found my new go-​to shop when I have any car troubles. I highly recommend Halls to anyone and everyone!

Excellent friendly service. I was just there for a state inspection. In and out in less than an hour with no appointment needed.
This will now be my go to local mechanic.

I found Halls Tire & Auto Service searching on Unilocal.I had a nail in my tire, so I went to Halls Tire & Auto Service for fast tire service. The staff replaced my tire fairly quick. The price was reasonable compared to other tire shops in the area. The employees were nice. I definitely would go back to Halls for tire service.

I had picked up a screw in one of my tires, and stopped in for the first time on a Friday afternoon. They took a look at it right away and were finished pulling the screw and plugging the hole in no time. Cost less than $ 20, and they didn’t try to sell me anything else. Friendly, courteous, and ready for a quick walk-​in job.

Whenever I go by Hall’s Auto & Tire, they always treat like I am the ONLY customer. I know they treat everyone like this, however it is a family owned business… and the care about their customers. I feel very comfortable in coming by and asking about a problem and how should I handle it. They will be very Frank and Honest, which will allow me to make a better informed decision.
Yesterday, I noticed my High Pressure Hose leaking on the Power Steering Pump. I asked Matt if he would look at it and he took out his time from another job to give me his honest Opinion. He said he needed to be fixed soon, but how soon was up to me as it could burst that day or next week. In addition, he told me where I could pick the part up at a lower cost as appose to waiting on them to order the part. So, I went to O’Reily’s on Glenside Dr. & Staples Mills and was able to pick the High Pressure Hose up at a considerable lower cost than going to a dealer.
I drove back to Hall’s to let Matt know I would be back early the next morning and he said he could take me in as it would not take but only 45 min. of Labor. I was there early this morning and Matt was ready for me… I would out by 9a. This is what I like about Hall’s. Several months ago, I had a major problem with my Jeep and I also needed to be at a meeting the next morning. I called Hall’s and spoke with Jack the Manager. He said to bring it in and they would take care of it that day. I would out by 5p. Not charged any extra for the jump ahead in service, however I was able to make my meeting the next morning. This is what I call Service… I have been going to Hall’s Auto & Tire now for 12 years. It was recommended to me by a friend, and NOW I am recommending it to you with hesitation.
Great people… most of all they are Honest and They will fix the problem if they can without the worry of finding stuff wrong which is not wrong as they do in a Dealership. Great place, cannot say enough!

Hall’s Tire & Auto did an excellent job. I suffered a flat and had been waiting to get new brake pads. Hall’s fixed both for me, no appointment needed, in just a couple of hours. The reviews on Unilocal were spot on — excellent customer service, quick repair, established business in place for 66 years.
If you need repair work, I recommend Hall’s.

Can’t say enough about Jack, Matt and the entire staff at Halls. Honesty. Integrity. Values you just don’t see enough of these days. Won’t take my cars anywhere else. One time they actually made a mistake. I would have never know but Jack explained the situation and took care of it. Take your vehicles to Hall’s and rest easy knowing you’ll be treated fairly
