Best deals around. Shop there weekly for a variety of items. Being a plus member saves me a lot of extra money. Try it and see.

Where do I start? Maybe the under cooked chicken or the poor employee attitudes. If I had paid full price for this membership, I would cancel. I still might, Costco is far superior in every way.

I have tried Costco and BJ’s Wholesale clubs and got registered for Sams through some promotion a few months ago. I would have given it 3 stars as it changed my initial opinion for the better by the breadth of their selections, however, overall in terms of the product uniqueness, pricing and customer service, I see it at the bottom of the list as compared to the other two. The discount booklets for the other two are much better and clearer and both excel in their organic and some unique selections across the board along with the discounts on some of the commonly used home and food items. I am deducting a star for the experience we had with the Photo department. The gal there is just unprofessional, rude and unreasonably sure of herself. We had a hard time getting to her over the phone as she is never there and we had some wait when we got to the store as well. On top of that, she insisted she couldn’t do a couple of photos relatively quickly and that we had to wait for an hour as per the policy even though she didn’t seem to have much going on. Last but not least, the store seems to give a low employee morale, low energy vibe at times and they may want to do something about it.

Sam’s represents our periodic break from Costco. Sam’s has a few things that Costco doesn’t carry, many similar items, etc. It does seem(no empirical evidence) that equal items are either based similarly or for a bit more at Sam’s. Sam’s quality control also seems to be less stringent than Costco’s. We may switch over to Sam’s entirely, due to the impending change in credit card agreements at Costco. However, until that happens, Sam’s will always be second in our hearts until then.

Your standard«members only» bulk buy warehouse store. The main difference with Sams club is that you don’t have to be a member. You can use your friend/family’s card and they don’t check ID and you can shop there using the perks and discounts as a member. The actual store itself is about average size for a warehouse. They don’t sell as many name brand items as Costco does, or at least, so I have heard. I would avoid the gas station on weekends and near holidays as it gets extremely backed up and the wait can be lengthy. Plenty of parking for all the customers and friendly associates. I actually came here specifically to get my tire patched up as it’s free for all members, family and friends. It’s a huge perk they offer their members along with some other things.

The worst customer service in my life. This is geared towards the SAM’S CLUBTIREDEPARTMENT! NEVER believe in their warranty and always read the POLICY because they’re lying when they say your tires are under warranty for a certain amount of years. I came in 6 months ago and got 4 brand new tires and this past weekend a tire popped, POPPED! And then I think to myself«no worries, my tires are under warranty. no big deal.» NOOOOOOO… I came in asking for them to be replaced and the half-assing person helping me gave me an attitude first of all and showed no care for my problem and said I had to pay extra $ 50 on top of what I had already paid for them«under warranty». And then just now I called in to their department asking for an estimated day of arrival of the tires and the person helping me over the phone was absolutely CLUELESS, like he has never heard of a person asking that question before. It took forever for him to pull up my order number, etc. Once he pulled up my order number, he had the audacity to ask what was my question was. COMEONNNNNN! Ughhhh, overall. They lie about their warranty offers and you need to actually READTHEPOLICY before you purchase anything from this department.

Good selection of good and consumer goods at good prices because you obviously buy in bulk. …but, what keeps me coming back to SAMs Club is the tire center… Guys always do good work and whenever things weren’t 100%, management always happy to help. Ask your local mechanic the price to rotate and your balance one time; these guys will do it for a lifetime – happily – for $ 40! Getting my headlights refreshed today and for $ 30 including a 5-year warranty, how can I go wrong?!

Love the self-checkout options. Not nearly as crowded as uppity CostCo. Very helpful folks at the tire department and the pharmacy.

I have been coming to Sam’s Club for two years now. I like Sam’s Club because I get food in the bulk. Members get really good deals on the hot food within Sam’s Club. The pizza, hot dogs, and ice cream are reasonably priced. The hot food is solid. Sam’s Club keep plenty of lanes open for checkout. Students get a discount on memberships. On weekends, food carts are set up so customers can sample different foods. The employees are friendly and helpful. If you are looking to buy groceries in the bulk, Sam’s Club is a good choice.

I like Sam’s Club… However they do not have as great of a selection as Costco. Today, they had an item which Costco does not carry. So I used a friends’ card to get in & out. Very friendly people who work at Sam’s. They need better lighting in the place… it looks dark and dingy
