StoragePRO Self Storage of Richmond

When we were in San Francisco for some work, we couldn’t stay in our RV and had to put it into storage. This location offered the best rates with a locked gate and decent visitation hours (7a — 7p). The office workers were always very nice and helpful, and worked with us for our somewhat short term stay.
Don’t let the dilapidated state of the other stored items fool you, this is a great place to keep your stuff — just don’t be like everyone else and forget it exists there…

Needed RV parking spot and this place was available.
When we brought our RV in and started working on paperwork — we had so many problems that were all due to the RV owner work. 2 hours later, multiple calls and new documents were sent to me to correct the issue (registration was issued no to the person who rented me the RV — duh!) we got the spot!
Parking lot has enough room to fit 31foot long RV! Really good gals are working here. Highly recommend!

I was under the gun in terms of storing our stuff after selling our home and staying in an AirBnB while looking for a new home. I was thinking that it was too far to drive out there, but honestly, it was one of the best locations ever. From Berkeley, super easy to get to, and you can pull your car right up to load and unload. After seeing what my friend had to go through to store stuff at storage place on Mandela Parkway in Oakland, I felt even better about Storage Pro. She had to spend lots of time dealing with doors where the code was jammed, not being able to find a cart, waiting for the elevator, lugging things out to the loading dock, etc. Not me– I could just pull up and use my own key and I was in and out wayyy before she had even loaded up her items.
Plus, Oxana and Sheila in the office are the best, and took such good care of us. It was kinda sad to say goodbye to them when we finally moved into our new house, but I am sure that I will need their services again some day.

Oxana rules it hard and keeps this place on lock down. The facility is clean and extremely secure but what takes the storage experience to the next level is the absolutely amazing staff. I can’t recommend StoragePRO enough. I came to store some things and left still smiling hours later!

If i could give 4.5 stars, i would! This place is very reasonably prices, very accessible, and Oxana is THE BEST!!! Ever! i have been using storage units for over 10 years for my business and this place is by far the best and Oxana is truly the very best when it comes to customer service! i have been utilizing their storage for over 4 years, now, and i would not go anywhere else. The only reason i don’t give a 5 star rating is because they lock the gate at 7 pm which can be hard for someone like me. On the plus, side you can call them ahead of time to let them know what date and time you need to get in after hours and they program the gate and alarm for your specific code. i appreciate their commitment to safety in this regard.

The Staff at Storage Pro are extremely Professional & Nice. Our Family has had a long standing relationship with them for many years with the storing our Big Rig Truck at their facility in Richmond, CA. I have had many conversations with Office Manager Ms. Oxanna & Ms. Sheila and every time they took care of our business. I truly appreciate them for working with me and assisting my family with our needs. Time flies and now it’s time to give up our UNIT along with 5 stars for the exceptional service.
Overall, if you need storage in the East Bay Area and the Richmond Location is Convenient for you, I definitely recommend it!!!

This storage place is way better than Public Storage. The lady name Oxana is so nice to me and my dad. Yea, my dad is the customer of this place so I doing the review for this place for him. He old school so he doesnt know anything bout smartphones computer or anything like technology stuff. So im doing the Unilocal for him and im pretty pretty pretty sure he would leave a wonderful review and five stars. Is do close to the area we live and the people that work are nice too. Usually when we go there, usually we get Oxana and she always always always great us with a smile. Me and my dad like the part that they have cookies by the front. Well, hope it keeps up the good work and me and my dad will see you next month.

What a storage facility should be! When we do work events in other cities, I rent storage units so we have a place to ship our stuff. This requires that the facility be able to sign for packages, put them in our unit, and do the rental paperwork via phone/​fax/​email and not in-​person. Oxana, the manager, was incredibly helpful in dealing with me and made sure that we had the best experience possible. She was so sweet she even declined the tip I tried to give her! So since I couldn’t give her a much-​deserved tip, the least I can do is let my fellow Unilocalers know that if you need a storage unit in the East Bay area, you won’t find a better place than Storage Pro!

We use their outdoor storage services for our RV. The manager Oxana was very nice and helpful, the location is convenient and the sale price (50% off $ 240) was right!
If we had to pay full price we would have had to go somewhere else.

Stop pulling out your hair looking for clean storage spaces and go to Storage Pro! That sounded like one of those 90s commercial you cant get the jingle out of your head. Seriously, this place was super friendly and clean.
Upon moving to the Bay Area I have looked into 6 storage facilities including storing my stuff at two. After a horrible experience at Public Storage in Richmond I sought out Storage Pro and was impressed. I ended up getting a place at Extra Storage in Berkeley only because it was decent too and closer to home. However, I felt I owed the people out there getting premature wrinkles trying to find good storage.
Customer service was great, the units I looked at were clean, building smelled clean which is not the same I can say for several other places in the area.

Secure location. Oxana quickly and effectively addressed a small parking issue. Highly Recommend.

We stored at Storage Pro for about half a year, and rented several trucks there too. Now this is an unusual review, because: all kinds of things went wrong. Cranky trucks, ants, leaks, etc. BUT: The Make-​Good was always fast and reasonable! Bob was always diplomatic and creative, and Dennis the same. Bob’s moved on, but Dennis will take care of you.
Screwups happen! I can forgive them but only if the firm owner drops everything to make-​good. I do it in my business and am pleased to see Dennis et al do the same.
By the way, their truck rental affiliation is with Penske, which I also can recommend highly after maybe ten rentals.
[Edit/​addition 12-​2-​2011: new staffing there, even better: Oxana and Sheila, smart, pleasant, know their business, public-​spirited. ]

The staff at StoragePro is professional and helpful. They accommodated my needs for 24 hour access without hesitation and made it as easy as possible on me to get a unit and move stuff in on the same day. Bob is helpful and personable and goes out of his way to make sure that things go smoothly. Dennis is also knowledgeable and helpful. The place is clean and secure and easy to access. Great service and helpful staff!

My work has been using StoragePro for over a year to store extra project materials. They have the best prices. The unit and facility is secure and safe. Dennis and Bob go above and beyond — a real pleasure to work with!

Background: Used another self-​storage company-​near Richmond/​San Pablo border-​twice in the last five years. That company was a ‘3−4′ star outfit, w/​pretty good prices.
That said, there was regular turnover in on-​site management, and the access gate wasn’t as secure as I wanted. For example, a ‘follow-​in’ [one or more people. or cars.that follow you into the secure area, after you’ve opened gate by pass code] could put you or others already inside at risk. More than once while driving up towards the gate, I’d see another vehicle (s) start pulling up to my bumper… and I’d leave w/​o entering.
Storagepro has better front gate security, w/​‘follow-​ins’ least likely to happen. Bob and Dennis are first-​rate in managing the place… and the prices are competitive with those in the area, along with longer hours that you can get in. There’s, also, an on-​site CLEAN bathroom.

I can’t say enough good things about the folks over at Pro Self Storage. For me, they made what tends to be a sterile business into a very personal one. I had an emergency need for a storage unit that arose at 5pm one evening. Their offices closes @ 6pm, but my shipment wasn’t going to be in the area until around 7pm. The manager, Dennis, waited for the late arrival and helped us load the shipment into the space we rented. The facillity is clean and well organized. There are restrooms during office hours. It’s super convenient having the office at the same location as the storage units. They went above and beyond the call of duty when I needed it most.

Nice, clean, easily accessible (from Point Richmond or the 580) storage for my spillover stuff. I got a great deal on a unit a bit bigger than what I needed, good for 6 months. Time flies and now it’s time to move the stuff out before the rate goes way up! Courteous service. I would give it 5 stars except that there seems to be some problem with their software and each month when I would go to pay, my account would show up at the full price instead of the special discount for 6 months rate, and each time it had to be straightened out.
Overall, if the location is convenient for you, I definitely recommend!
