For the Intimates on 900 N Michigan, as soon as you step in they force you into a system that you can’t get out of. The salespeople are nice, but more concerned about making a sale rather than getting a bra you feel comfortable with.
The fitting sessions last about 20 minutes and since they don’t use measuring tape, it’s up to the associate to guess your size and bring you some bras she feels are right for you. Whatever size the associate feels is for you, you have to stick with it. My associate brought me back a bra that was so tight that I felt my top was going to separate from my bottom. The associate insisted «that was how the bras were supposed to feel» and «that I would have to get used to it.» I played along with the whole «wow, what an amazing bra» thing until I could get outta there.
Bras start at $ 80 and they don’t have any plain bras (all colors or lace).

Sweet little boutique on a main drag in River Forest, not surrounded by other retail places. Their thing is form and function, with experts on bra-​fitting (I was impressed to see on their business card they carry bras from size 32A to 52J — not sure, but I think that qualifies as boobs as big as my head, or even Kristina R.‘s head — hi baby!).
Anyway, the offerings range from very innocent to kinda naughty, but mostly it’s very sweet and pretty stuff without being lacy and ridiculous. Wide range of prices too — panties are $ 5 up to the $ 40s. Very chilled out place, and not very busy so you can take your time. I’ll check back often.
