A Quality Chimney Sweep

Just had to respond to all who read these reviews…
In reference to Ter E’s response to my January 19^th review.
Terry never suggested we have our wood stove serviced in the summer in our home, never… furthermore, he was well aware the wood stove was our only source of heat.(hence the 1920 adobe home we are restoring). Why would he think or try to cover himself with such a statement ??? Not True!
TerE states he is sorry we are upset, but is unable to take on the customer at this time, well TerE, why not let us know in November? Why lead us on till the 19^th of Jan two days before you were suppose to do the job after we obtained everything you would need for the project with the exception of one piece of pipe which you stated you had. and after all the rescheduling on your part:
1^st excuse… you had company coming in, have to rechedule
2^nd excuse… don’t have the pipe (he had weeks to obtain it. a 24″ x 6″ pipe)
3^rd excuse… the job I am working on is taking me longer than I thought and it is 1000.00 that they owe me and I have to finish the job.
TerE YOU changed all the dates.
As far as a contract, in hindsight… thank goodness there was not a contract signed with you.
Gosh, remember the days though when a handshake or your word was as good as a signed contract?

If you’re looking for someone who is a qualified professional chimneys sweeper THEN LOOK NO MORE. From start to finish Terry displayed a real love for what he does. What really stood out was that he knew what he was doing and was ready to tackle any job. He had all the needed equipment and it was all ready to go before starting the job. Plus he kepy everything clean, gave special care to our wood floors. Terry showed that he was not afraid to work hard. He even got inside the fire place to clean, got on the roof and clean the chimney from the top, as well as went under our house (we’re on a foundation) and cleaned out the ash box. Wow and the best thing was it was all done at a very reasonable price. Lastly and most important, Terry was very honest and up front with the work he was doing. Thanks Terry see you next time.

My husband and I purchased our first home this spring, and had not checked the chimneys prior to purchase. Rather than risk it, we called A Quality Chimney Sweep, and boy are we glad we did! Terry was prompt, professional and friendly. He did a full sweep and inspection, and he even gave us pointers for fixing some things on our own to save a few bucks! His service was very thorough and I feel safe lighting our first fire in our first home. We will definitely keep Terry in our contact list for any future chimney needs, and we’ll refer him to our friends in a heartbeat!

I I am so impressed with Terry. Very professional a pleasure to speak with very knowledgeable about his business. Very helpful telling me what is going on with the chimney. Taught me how to make a fire what to do with the fire is on step by step and written instructions if you need a chimney sweep this is your man don’t call anybody else you’re wasting your time and paying too much. I recommend Terry to anybody that wants their fireplace fixed

Terry pulled in a bit late, but got right to work. He took me up on the roof so that I could see the state of the chimney and he explained the ways I could maintain our fireplace myself as well as offer his expert assistance. I like having options!
Professional, courteous, and a sense of humor. I now have a clean chimney and feel empowered to take care of it in the future.

What more can I say about Terry than professional all the way. He showed up on time (I was the late one) and he was cool waiting. Handle his job, took the time to answer all of my questions. Looking forward to the follow up service to fix a minor problem that he found. If you want great service this is the place to get it.

Terry repaired my gas fireplace for $ 80 after another company quoted $ 500! He is very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend him.

These guys are great. I just had Terry come out and reinspect a chimney the gas company had red tagged. He was very polite and professional and got right to work. Being very thorough he explained to me that the fireplace itself was safe. He also answered all questions that I had was very knowledgeable his profession. I glad I gave Terry a call and you will too!

5 stars! Arrived early because he was close by, which was no problem. Terry is a humble, kind, courteous, honest and peaceful man. Not a speck left on my cream colored carpet. Draped clean smelling, freshly laundered cloths down before bringing in tools and supplies. Worked efficiently and thoroughly inspected my chimney. Answered all my questions and always let me know what he was going to do before starting next task, for example, heading outside to the roof, etc.
His wife is kind and pleasant over the phone. She had to call to set a new appointment because he was sick the day of my appointment, but she called early and apologized.
Needless to say, reliable and has excellent communication!

Found A Quality last week on Unilocal and booked an appointment for today. Terry showed up on time and did an amazing job! We moved in two years ago and we know it hadn’t been done for a long time before we moved in. He was here about an hour and a half. Not a speck of soot anywhere in my home. He also did an inspection and told us about a crack in the back of the chimney. He said we could fix it cheaper than he could. Loved the tip! He also said, we could use a new grate. Would highly recommend this company!
Now we can have a fire for my husband’s birthday tomorrow! Popcorn and movies coming up!

A Quality is the right name for this company. Terry showed up exactly when he was to arrive. He looked at our chimney and told us he would be threw in just over an hour. He was on the dot and took only what he quoted to us prior to his arranged time. He did mention our chimney cap should be replaced but that we could do this in the spring. Wow, do I like that kind of soft sell! We will definitely call this company again to replace our chimney cap!

Terry is wonderful! We found this company online and set up an appointment over the phone. For $ 100, we had an inspection and cleaning. For an additional $ 85, he installed a chimney cap which we desperately needed and also pointed out some cracks in our chimney and let us know what to buy to repair. He pointed out that our grate was too small and offered to swap ours out with one that better fit our fireplace. Professional, friendly, and all around wonderful experience. Will definitely be recommending A-​Quality to friends and family.

I had a wonderful experience with this company. He showed up on time, had to come back because my painters said they needed him to wait and he came back again without complaint. He cleaned my chimney, installed a cap, and installed a gas log set. The quality of the work was excellent and he was very neat. I highly recommend this company.
