If you want wings, this is the place to go. Other places may be better known and advertised, but, you won’t find better anywhere else. The also have an in-​house made Jack Daniels sauce that is top notch. Kitchen staff does a nice job on the other menu items (mostly basic bar fare) as well.

Derbys Tavern aka the East End… one of the oldest bars left around… famous for its Thursday night pitcher deal, pool and their wings… so many memories, so many characters. Cant let it close down like all the other famous places around… Abes/​Stadium/​Woodshed/​Catalina/​Pourhouse/​Blue Bar/​Knast Liquors. Derbys is like the Alamo of Riverside… we can“t let it fall!

Derby’s might be the best dive bar in south Jersey. Yeah, I said it. Jay’s is great, but Derby’s might just be a hair better. The wings are fantastic, and cheap on Fridays, the beer is also cheap. And cold. And the service is good. We’d go in here, like ten deep, and order ridiculous amounts of beer and wings, and it was super cheap, with quick service. I haven’t been in a few years, but I’ve always wanted to get the old crew back together to head over here on a Friday.

So upset. Derby’s used to have the best wings around. Ordered 10 HOT and 20 MILD on Sunday. Husband went to pick them up. Brought them home and all 30 had NO sauce on them! So disappointing. Dangit!
