Shared a platter here with my husband. Good and quick place to grab a bite to eat, good alternative to other fast food places. Love Bill Gray’s :)

I had the burger with egg and curly fries. I thought both were pretty good considering this is essentially a fast food restaurant. It takes them a long time to get your food, but I would go back for sure.

Ok it’s like the messiest Tom Wahl’s burger ever. You must tell them you want it deluxe & works meaning lettuce, tomato, mayo-deluxe, everything is ketchup, mustard, onion. My husband missed that memo. The burgers were tasty, the chili cheese fries. Could you spare a bit more cheese?! Please?! Staff was a little odd. Have you been smoking weed?! Just an odd place… I had the mushroom Swiss, tasty burger and the bun was good too, the husband had the cheeseburger. They were pretty good. They have a nice outdoor space to sit as well. The have Abbots Custard and I believe they offer wine/beer. Will I go back maybe to another location. Maybe SeaBrease and take it to go to Marge’s for a cocktail. Moving on…

A good standby. The guy with piercings is so nice and treats everyone the same. Judging by how I ordered, he had the courtesy to inform me that their hot sauce has meat flavoring in it and he always takes my order carefully. Bill Gray’s is a local favorite. And theyve partnered with Abbott’s another local joint that sells ice cream. Crispy fries, decent veggie burgers, and a laid back atmosphere.

If you just change two letters, Bill Grays would become Bull Grass, which would be a field full of weeds and sh*t(literally sh*t, in fact bullsh*t which is worse than sh*t because it’s dishonest sh*y), which is a little worrying. Although bulls are pretty cool. I was once chased across a field by a bunch of bulls. It was not as freaky as you’d think. But my girlfriend was so freaked, she talks about it to this day. Which is why we broke up. I’m a Taurus actually, funnily enough. Bull Grass though, sounds too much like Bluegrass for my liking, so yeah, no. Not a fan of Bluegrass. Sorry. What to order: World’s Best Cheeseburger and then go over to Abbott’s, obviously. Bill Grays is the only Rochester institution that has successfully«cracked» Buffalo, although it only has a few locations out in the 716, and one of them — in the mall — recently closed down along with the whole food court. It’s a wonderful place with an excellent Cheeseburger(the world’s best, they boast), and they have a delicious frozen custard shop attached to every location(as far as I have seen until now) named Abbott’s. I reviewed that separately but if you are ever in a BGs, make sure you try the Abbott’s Vanilla Custard. OMGsogood. I’m not a huge fan of their hots or their garbage plates… I think the meat sauce tastes too sweet or something. But those burgers and that Abbott’s — fantastic. This particular location of Bill Gray’s has my least fave lobby. It’s a little old and claustrophobic, and definitely not as comfortable as the paradisical one in Henrietta, for example, or the huge on on Main St Clarence near Buffalo. They were a little annoyed that people were ordering at 8.59pm when they close at 9pm, but they still took the orders and I really appreciate that. And the girl at Abbott’s gave me the huge-est scoop ever of the custard when I just ordered a kiddie size, so yay! Thanks for that and for serving me so late. 5 stars. Not sure what all the negativity is about to be honest. It’s awesome. But then I’m a bull, in all sorts of ways, so I would say that I suppose. At least I’m not full of it, like Bull Grass. And even if you hate my music, and think I should, I’ll never play Bluegrass music.

I stopped Monday evening. Burger was average. Fries were over cooked. The guy at the counter taking orders continually kept digging at the front of his pants like he had an infestation. I don’t think I will be going back to this location.

Bill Gray’s is a solid choice for a real burger. It’s a cut above the fast food joints. You have to have a cheeseburger and you need the BOGO coupon. I’d give this higher stars but my favorite of this type of burger(Rochester style«ground steak») joint is a different one.

Back in the day Bill Grays had an outstanding product, but it isnt so much anymore. This is my 2nd try since being back home on business. 20 minutes to get a take out order ready, the guy rang my order in wrong, and the quality was about like going to Wendys. Stick with Charlies in West Webster. Much better than Bill Gray’s

I’m a newbie to garbage plates, went to the location in webster. I had the hot dog/cheeseburger combo. Yummy, I loved their mac salad. The hot dog was a(pork hot dog) it was my first time having it and it just tasted like a sausage to me. Their meat/hot sauce was REAL good, and I don’t like anything spicy. I dabbled in it. I agree coupons are clutch. I think mine alone was $ 7. I’d go come back the next time I’m visiting the area.

Excellent fish fry and slaw. Don’t come here without a coupon. They can be found everywhere, even online
