I couldn’t eat the deep fried, burned to a crisp eggplant sandwich. I don’t think I’ve ever had thinly sliced eggplant deep fried. It’s typically breaded and either fried lightly or baked. Our waitress offered something else from the menu but I declined. They charged me anyway for the lunch I couldn’t eat. My partner had a tuna melt that she thought was good. Thats why the 2 stars. At least one of us ate their lunch. The tables were not clean enough.

This place is rundown and in need of some serious restoration, in fact it’s waaaay over due… The food is sub-par and greasy spoon sort of, but not in a good way… I guess the whole décor just makes it not a good spot to eat… Sorry but this review is as good as I can muster…

We arrived on a Sunday morning, and were immediately escorted to a table in the back. The tables are mounted(glued maybe?) to the wall, which caused our table to have quite a steep slope. Not the best set up for hot coffee… The food wasn’t any better. I ordered the Belgian waffle which couldn’t have been made in house. It tasted and appeared to be previously frozen. To accompany this, I was given packages of butter and syrup which obviously meant both were cold and hard to spread on my equally cold waffle. My girlfriend got eggs, bacon and toast. The bacon… or fake-on as we called it was a joke. It was definitely one of those boxed bacons that you see on the shelf at the grocery store and wonder why it’s not refrigerated. Both of us received burnt toast and our coffee was just OK. The eggs and hash browns were edible and easily the best part of our meal. I love a good diner, especially close to home but this place was pretty bad.

This diner has always had great food. I believe that they have friendly servers and there usually isn’t a long wait. There has been one time when they messed up our order, but we sent it back and it was fixed. I hope to go again and hopefully they’ll stay as great as they’ve been. I do think they need to clean up a little bit though…

Made the mistake of buying a groupon to this place. Went in for dinner tonight(4÷14÷14) and the smell of gas hit both of us in the face the second we walked in. The manager or owner of the place sat there and looked at us while we both commented to each other about the gas fumes, filling the place. After he yelled to us to «sit anywhere», we asked him about the smell. He said«someone else said that yesterday, but I don’t know I can’t smell it, so I don’t think that’s what it is». «Well… we both smelled it as soon as we got here, it’s really strong» and he shook his head and said again that he doesn’t smell anything. Then he watched us leave. I wont be surprised if the place blows up due to his negligence. Gross. What the heck am I gonna do with this Groupon?

My fiancé and I always come here for breakfast! Everyone is friendly and we get a ton of food for cheap! Also don’t mind the fact we can play QuickDraw too :) We will continue coming here! I love the bacon and cheese omelet, they actually mix the ingredients with the eggs rather than wrapping a few pieces of bacon and cheese in a premade egg like most places!

I’ll be honest up front: I didn’t actually eat here. The start of the experience was so bad, I didn’t really want to. We arrived at Ridgeview directly after a 3-hour doctor’s appointment for my hubby’s broken collarbone. We were famished. We walked in at about 10:57 and were shown to a table promptly. The table was dirty. The menus were were also dirty. The menu had typical diner breakfast fare — nothing lacking, nothing special. My poor suffering husband immediately honed in on the belgian waffle. A few minutes later, the waitress approached and immediately snatched the menus out of our hands. «Melissa!» she shouted(into our ears) at the hostess, who was chatting loudly with her friend in an adjacent booth. «Wrong menus!» «Can we still get breakfast?» we asked. — «No, the computers changed over at eleven. I can’t even put it in anymore.» — «What about the Belgian waffle?» — «No, just for breakfast.»(Breakfast had just ended, and she wasn’t even willing to ask.) The lunch menus(which were also quite filthy — we’re talking more than your typical diner jelly drip or coffee spill here) did have some limited breakfast choices, but nothing really appealed to us, so we left. After, we went to Donuts Delight, where my husband said, «I wish I hadn’t had the coffee at Ridgemont. This is so much better.» Was it horrible? No. So maybe the one star is a tad bit harsh. But the experience was enough to push the two of us out the door into greener pastures. I’m a big believer that if I’m going to spend 1500 calories on brunch, then it had better be the most fantastic delicious brunch I’ve ever laid nostrils on. And I had zero faith I’d get that from Ridgeview.

Decent place, clean and attractive but the food was well, diner food. I ordered the 2×3 no complaints there, for 5 bucks i was good with that. My wife ordered belgian waffles with strawberries, and a ham and cheese omelet. The strawberries smelled sickening sweet and tasted chemically. Sent it back and got a plain belgian which was fine. Omelet was good although the consistency of the eggs led us to believe it was made with egg beaters. Overall, decent but wont be back soon
