History
Established in 1995.
In 1952 my father, Emil Manel, established Manel Excavating. After retiring from his farming business. He bought one of the first front-end loaders in Rochester. For about 20 years, with a dozer, backhoe and loader, he did mostly excavating work for various builders and developers. Even in his nineties, my father, would put on his uniform, come out to the garage and tinker. In 1972, I became part of the organization. At that time the company had incorporated as Manel Excavating Corporation (d.b.a. Manel Paving and Contracting.)
