I did not actually get as far as having any service done at this Salon & Spa. Their customer service was so appalling, I left and went to a different Spa. I have had my fair share of Spa services, and wanted to get my Mom a facial for Christmas. I did lots of research on price, location, specials/packages and reviews. My final decision came down to one of three Spas. I tried Prime Designz first. I should have known something was up when I stood at the counter for an extended amount of time as the receptionist and someone else who works there stood in front of me and had a long personal conversation. By the time she managed to tear herself away and talk to me, I was already irritated. I told her that I wanted to buy a gift card, and that I had looked on their website for prices/information. She took my name and information to enter me into the computer and asked what I wanted to gift card for. I said the Power Hour Facial. On their website/Myspace/Facebook(They do have all three) it was advertised as a 75 minute facial for $ 60. The price was my final decision as to why I picked Prime Designz. When I told the woman I wanted the gift card for the Power Hour facial she looked at me like I was nuts. I went to explain what they were advertising for it online. She said she really didn’t know anything about any of the services that they offered — what they were called, what the entailed, how much or how long they were. She said she could just give me a gift card for $ 60. I was a little worried, I wanted to make sure that there was enough on the gift card for my Mom to have the facial. I picked up one of the brochures on the desk to double check the info online, since the receptionist was so little help. The brochure had extremely tiny print and said that the Power Hour wasn’t $ 60, but closer to $ 80(I don’t remember the exact price, but it was a lot more). She kept talking about tax and other fee’s making it closer to $ 100! What?! I’ve never been to another Spa that charges TAX on their service or these other«hidden fees»(And it wasn’t Tip included) I showed her the brochure and told her what it said online. She didn’t care and simply asked if I wanted the gift card for $ 60, $ 80 or the full $ 100 amount. I said I wasn’t willing to pay the extra for the facial that all of a sudden cost so much more. The other two Spas on my list were equal to PD in most areas, but had a lower cost then this«new» price and without all the BS. I asked her about specials or anything that we could do because of their incorrect price online. She was extremely unhelpful in every way. There was no way I was going to send my Mom to a place with a front desk like that. I thanked her and left. I emailed them with a description of my experience there and never got a response, but their price is no longer on their website. It is still the same on their myspace.
