History

Established in 1989.

Reid Heating & Air, Inc. is a family-​owned and –operated company. The Reid family has been serving South Carolina’s gas, electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning needs since 1932. In 1971, Donnie Reid, Rick Reid and Charlie Reid formed an electrical and gas company which branched into mechanical contracting. Eventually this endeavor divided into two separate companies: Reid Gas Incorporated, owned and operated by Rick Reid, and Reid Heating & Air, owned and operated by Charlie Reid. We incorporated AirTime 500 in 2000, and became Reid Heating and Air, Inc., which serves the York County area today. By providing our customers with unparalleled heating and air conditioning repair or replacement service and customer care, we have grown to be one of the largest and most respected air conditioning companies in the area. Our staff specializes in selling, installing and repairing residential air conditioning and heating units.
