It’s really important to have an honest and reliable source for auto repairs. After my first experience here, I’m confident I’ve found the right place after 6 years of looking.
The issue was properly diagnosed, I was given the option of a new or used part, the repair was done in a timely manner, communication was great, and the price was reasonable.
Couldn’t ask for more.

This place is a hidden gem always great friendly service and they take great care of us every time. I had a sudden problem with my car and they took me in and took great care of me ASAP and had me in/​out and back on my way. Great honest service that always has us heading back.

I drive an hour and ten minutes to take my cars here. Need I say more? My Mercedes, Toyota 4Runner and Nissan Pathfinder insist I take them here.

They are very nice, friendly people, but I wish they were as good with cars as they are with customer service. Perhaps they are great at Mercedes, and other European cars, but they don’t seem to be too good with Honda’s.
I don’t remember why I decided to go there in the first place, I think it was open and I needed an opinion. Anyway, long story short, I went there multiple times to find out why my check engine light was on, and was charged to replace solenoids thinking that would solve the problem. It didn’t.
I needed my transmission rebuilt instead, which apparently they didn’t realize the first several times I brought the car in and waited there. So I got charged for something I might not have needed if only they’d realized the trans was bad. Then later on I accidentally cracked my bumper cover and found the part myself and had them put it on. However they did a poor job and as a result my wheel well covering on my passenger side came off on the highway costing me more money to replace.
Also now, the transmission is giving me issues again due to a bad torque clutch convertor, so I’m not sure if they just put in a faulty part and didn’t realize or if it’s the cars fault. Either way, I’m not going back for them to guess what’s wrong.
The good thing is like I mentioned, they are great with customer service, or at least if you’re a girl they are. The wife did allow me to pay off the bill in installments as I couldn’t afford to pay it all at once, so that was very, very, very much a good thing for which I am very thankful. Also they fixed my sisters car and as far as I know she’s had no issues, but she drives a Volkswagen Passat which is a German manufacturer so I’m not too surprised there that she’s had no problems.
The short version is, nice people, but if you don’t have a Mercedes or a very similar German car, don’t go there, they won’t be able to help you as well as other places. Try Apollo tire or Denville Transmission if you need stuff done. Much, much, much more reliable and also nice people.

What an amazing Experience. I use to take my Mercedes Benz ml350 to get serviced at the dealer and always left with my wallet smaller but this shop it’s totally different this family takes customer service seriously they are very welcoming and go and beyond to ensure everything is done right the 1^st time so you can avoid the back and forth. I love the family charm of this place everyone is friendly From Felipe — To Sandy and Lauren — if you’re looking for a solid independent German Mechanic this is the place to go. I will continue to come to this shop and recommend them to my family.
