Hello we went today for Father’s day, Marcelo is a great waiter and person, but I’m disappointed that the AC wasn’t working it was 91 degrees today and we left because it was too hot. My family and I won’t go back until you guys fixed the AC.

Myname family and I went for dinner on Friday evening the guacamole which was made at the table was delicious, our meals were okay but the fried ice cream was freezer burned and it was a very disappointing way to end our meal I don’t think we will be back

They surely make a strong margarita, if their review was just based on that it’d be a 5. I’ve been to both of their location but I was disappointed at this one. Although their food was good and the service was fine, I can’t say the same about their facility. The women’s restroom smelled like feces for over 2.5 hours that we were there. Upon arriving at the restaurant I washed my hands and noticed the smell, we had a few drinks while we waited for my parents. I went to their restroom 2 more times before we left the place still the smell situation was not remedied. The restrooms are adjacent to the kitchen.

Definitely the most authentic and delicious Mexican food around. I really believe this place to be my favorite restaurant for any kind of Mexican dish. Perfect pork chimichangas, most cheesy chicken enchiladas, and the most satisfying shredded steak tacos with the most fresh ingredients there is. The spices and cilantro in all the sauces are just done perfectly. Besides excellent food, the interior of this eatery is completely decked out in Mexican swag and Aztec and Mayan artwork everywhere even painted on the tables. makes this place incredibly cool and makes everyday feel like cinco de Mayo. The servers will make you feel like a celebrity and are the most accommodating servers I’ve ever had. They will look genuinely upset if you do not like the way something is cooked or prepared and will gladly try to find a solution. This place is a hit and on my list for the most amazing margaritas I’ve had to date.

Came here for my dad’s birthday. Wasn’t that good. Chicken tenders for the kids were literally burnt. They came out black and was too hard for the kids to bite into. I ordered a shrimp dish, it was fine but nothing special. My father ordered a steak rare, it was so well done that he said it was like leather. My father told them about the steak and they took it away, never replaced it and still charged it on the bill!!! I’m so surprised at this place. I always pass it on my way to NY. Really thought I would have liked it. Never EVER again! One more day thing, we had a cake that we bought prior to going. One of the waiters(not even ours) came over and took a piece of the cake. Like what? Lol

It was just ok here, nothing extremely special, but not horrible. The complementary salsa was pretty good, but on the spicy side. We got the table side made guac, and it could have been better. I think it was missing some more lime juice(or something else) and was a little too chunky. My friend and I both got the 5 tacos at dinner time for $ 15. They were quite tiny(but a decent amount of meat on them) on soft shell tacos. The lamb was shredded and quite tender, but the steak was not good and slightly tough. DONOT put the salsa on the tacos that comes with the entrée. It is beyond spicy. I asked for a milder salsa, and it was horrible tasting. Overall, not that great here except for the lamb tacos.

Yes I DO give 5 stars. No bounds here. This place is so far the best Mexican restaurant I’ve tried in 3 counties. Salsa is accurate. Mole is balanced. Chips fresh and crisp. Guacamole is court side. Strawberry daiquiri virgin and non is a mist try and great balance to the spice of the authentic and fresh Mexican influenced peppers they use.

Good for lunch. Lots of parking. The white sangria was very tasty, and during our lunch visit, it was $ 9 per pitcher. The lunch fajitas of mixed meats came with beef, chicken and pork ribs. The ribs were actual ribs and they were grilled. The pile of meat is rough for 2 people. The nachos locos is a good sized plate for only $ 6. I enjoyed the nachos locos. The restaurant is clean and comfortable.

My friend and I went there for dinner. The food was pretty good and I honestly liked the décor. Down side, our waiter was really non existent. In addition to that, we went to pay and the waiter said they could only take cash because the machine was broken. We would have had to wait for another half hour or more to pay. Luckily, my friends had cash.

What a little hidden gem! Came here for dinner with my mom, who used discovered this place with my dad. We both ordered the combo plates … She had three different tacos and I got the carnitas taco/pork tamale/carnitas chimichanga combo. The tamale and chimichanga were very good but the taco was my favorite. Served with rice and beans, the three item combo plate was $ 14.95. Deal!!! There were complimentary chips and salsa and my mom got a frozen margarita which was only $ 5. The taco had a lot of meat on it and the soft tortillas were doubled up, thin and delicious. I was very full after the meal and my mom actually brought two tacos home because they were so huge. Our waiter was very attentive and the atmosphere was very Mexican Festive. I am definitely bringing the rest of the family back when do another home weekend.

Went back for another visit of course! Was very tempted to order another Burrito Supremo but at the last second, my brother ordered tacos and I couldn’t resist the craving. Instead I ordered fish tacos and wasn’t sorry! I probably prefer the Burrito Supremo but the tacos were still delicious. Kind of Build-Your-Own in the sense that the rice and beans come on the side but that just makes it more fun :) The lime served on my plate was a bit dried out but I know restaurants so I know that tends to happen come dinner-time. The service was a bit slow. We waited quite awhile to initially order, then awhile to wrap up the food we wanted to take home, and then awhile to pay our bill but we got to our movie in time so that’s all that mattered! All-in-all I will certainly return whenever I am in the area because the food has yet to let me down!

My wife and I had been waiting to try Riviera Maya since it opened. We finally had the opportunity last night and went with the family. We were very happy that we didn’t have a wait at 7pm on a Saturday night! The food we both agreed was excellent! To start off with, I had a Negra Mondelo and my wife had a strawberry margarita. For an appetizer, we had to try the guacamole which we heard so much about. They come to your table and make it right in front of you. It was outstanding! For entrees, we both had combinations. The chimichanga and enchiladas were excellent! The portions were large but not overly priced. The only negative on the evening was the seating. First, they were putting us at a table in front of the door, then they placed us at a table with the AC blasting down from the ceiling. We finally were settled at high tables near the bar and it was fine. We will definitely be back here sipping margaritas in the future!

I had the fish tacos, they were very flavorful and came with a «slaw». Really liked the fish. The rice and beans were cooked well, not under-done. Went with a bunch of co-workers. The service was slow but that is expected when you go with 10 people at lunchtime. I expect the service to be better if it was a smaller table and more of a dinner crowd.

Lunch: If you work in the area and are looking for a quick delicious bite to eat they can definitely accommodate your needs. Came here during lunch with a co-worker had tacos and the chimichanga fully prepared, consumed and bill paid within 25 minutes. Dinner: If you’re craving a delightfully filling Mexican meal definitely swing by! They have hearty dinner options,(I recommend the enchilada platter and/or fajita platter) Big Party: Came here for my sister’s 30th birthday lunch and they met all of our needs. We had a party of 20+ people, all the waiters were courteous to our food restrictions and very accommodating. The staff was very prompt in bringing all the dishes to the table and it left me wanting to go back. In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant they are amazing from the complimentary salsa and chips to their excellent well-prepared meals!

A few weeks ago I was at a local lacrosse tournament for my son and they had a couple of food vendors on-site. One was a great local BBQ place and one was Riviera Maya. I tried a chicken quesadilla and a minichanga with a nice verde sauce. I was shocked at how fresh and tasty the food was considering they were out on a hot day just under a tent. That tasting brought my wife and I to the main restaurant… and a really great meal. I love Mexican food… well, let’s be honest, I like lots of different kinds of food, but I really do enjoy good Mexican food and Riviera Maya IS good Mexican food. We started with the Ceviche de Jaiba-a crab meat, avocado and green salsa dish that was pretty incredible. They also start you off with fresh chips and a great spicy salsa that I wish I could have brought home. My wife ordered the Fajita Arrachera… beef fajitas with a lime garlic sauce and roasted salsa. She lived it so much I wasn’t allowed to touch it! I ordered the combo which included a soft taco, a burrito and a chinichanga… it was a very nice portion and absolutely delicious. What I liked most was that nothing was overly salted like a lot of places, but rather, they let the flavors of the food stand out. The side of beans did need a touch of salt, but that’s just how I like my black beans. Service was great and the Margarita specials were delicious as well. I am really looking forward to returning and trying something else on the menu!

I still remember this spot as a diner… Anyway, went here recently for a quick lunch with the folks. Solid mexican food at very reasonable prices. Not mindblowingly great food or mindblowingly great prices but both were very solid. I would go back again.
