Debbie Loffman: Broker/​Owner/​Regional Property Manager

In 1987 Debbie was the first person to own and operate a tenant screening company in Northern California. As founder of Landlord Protection Service, Debbie has screened over 70,000 tenants in the past 20 years and considers herself an expert in this area.

After selling Landlord Protection Service in 1997, Debbie went into real estate and property management.

She is dedicated to making sure her clients investments receive proper attention and that quality tenants are placed in each rental.

Debbie Loffman has been my property manager for two different properties. She is the best. I have worked with other property managers in the past and there is no comparison. She very carefully screens tenants, handles maintenance issues quickly and keeps me informed of any problems in a timely manner. She is a good negotiator and communicator. I only have the one house now but she has managed that now for 6 years, and it has been occupied virtually all of the time with the exception of a month or so between tenants. She is very trustworthy and finds contractors/​repair people that have reasonable rates.

Debbie helped me rent my property in a matter of weeks! I have the best tenants I could have asked for. They are never late with rent and are very prompt.
The only reason it wasn’t a 5 star was because there was a little lack of communication for a work order. She is very professional and personable. Her fees are reasonable as well.

Loffman Property Management is great! They handle my rental property from start to finish. Offered suggestions on ways to make the property more appealing such as trimming trees back, putting new bark in the yards and doing a deep clean to the house. Very professional office staff and streamlined process for disbursing funds. I couldn’t be happier with their service. If you’re looking for a property management team to handle your rentals, look no further.

I usually don’t write reviews on companies, but this company and specifically the owner, are completely unprofessional and renters should beware!!! I qualified for a house in my neighborhood and went to meet Debbie, the owner of the company, for our walk through and to sign papers. The house was still very dirty (lots of cobwebs, oven and stove were NASTY, light bulbs out, belongings of the previous tenant were still in the house, bathrooms were yuck!), repairs other than touch up paint hadn’t been done and she was ok with putting a battery in a beeping smoke/​carbon monoxide detector that was 14yrs past it’s expiration date. I informed her of that, she had no knowledge that they had expiration dates! We started to sign the papers and I did explain to her that I was a little disappointed in the fact that the repairs that she were going to be done weren’t and with that, she flipped out! She said that «she would just do them herself and that she didn’t need a man to do it!» She continued to say that «I was being crabby at her and that I was going to be one of those high maintenance tenants and I guessed she didn’t have anything better to do on a Friday night!» I’ve owned, all but one of the four houses that I’ve lived in during my adult life. My last landlord NEVER heard from me and «I took care of their house better than they did». Their words, not mine. Had she checked with my past landlord and done her research, she would have known this. Witnessing a 50yr old plus woman have a teenage meltdown over her not doing her job was a little more than crazy. Moving into a newer rental shouldn’t require you to do work to house that you just moved into, but I guess that’s me being crabby. RENTERS BEWARE!!!

She was extremely courteous and prompt in all communications and requests. When I had follow up questions after moving out, she was professional, kind, and responded immediately. I would not hesitate to recommend LPM to my friends and family.

If you’re looking for property to rent or manage, I HIGHLY recommend Loffman Properties… Debbie and her staff are very responsive to any issues or needs… When my air conditioner went out in the house they managed, her team had someone there the next day! in July!
If I find myself relocating in the future I will definitely call Loffman Properties!

Nice staff, professional and shows urgency to care for tenants. Debbie the owner is very prompt in returning emails and phone calls. We made some requests for minor fixes to the apartment before our move in date, and she made them happen with out pause. Their deposits were lower than other managements and gave it back to us in full upon moving out.

They are understanding and loyal, nothing but grade A customer service. when I found them I knew that no matter where i lived i would want to rent through them, they are quick to respond to any and all issues you may have with a rental, and you can actually talk to them personally instead of always taking messages like a robot.
