Four of us had dinner there last night. Two ordered pasta dishes which were really good one with meat sauce and one with vodka sauce. They were both excellent. I had a calzone which was very delicious and could only eat half. My husband gobbled down the special sub. All the food was excellent and very well priced. I can only give it four stars due the lacking décor. Our waitress was on top of it as far as refilling my husbands drink every 10 mins since he drinks a lot. Friends loved the rice ball app. We will definitely go back again. 6÷10÷16 I’ve been back twice and each time has been just as good. I personally feel like the food and service get 5 stars but I leave 4 because it’s extremely casual. No bother to me but I feel 5 stars would belong to a nicer setting.

Love this place! The pizza is great, and we usually get a few Caesar salads to divide up and of course a couple orders of garlic knots. It’s close to home so sometimes we call in and pick it up on the way home or take the kids there and eat in. We love having it here in Rolesville!

This is the typical thin pizza it seems every single place has, and all of them are tasteless and just bad. And apparently the owners are from NJ so what gives; this pizza should be amazing. And it’s just not.
Subs are pretty good though, will probably return for those.

I went here recently and got a plain cheese pizza and a calzone. I really liked the pizza. From the first bite, I knew I had a real NY/​NJ style pizza. There was plenty of cheese, which I like, and not as much sauce, which I also like. The sauce was milder than most, which to me is a good thing. I don’t like overly seasoned pizza sauces – they detract from the pizza. The calzone was a little on the wet side – it could’ve been crispier. I would definitely come back for pizza.

Some friends had recommended this location. I tried it and got chicken parm roll and they added broccoli too. EXCELLENT portion and it was cooked the way I like it. Alex came over and talked to him which was very nice! Looking forward to going again!

I actually had high hopes for this place. being from jersey and seeing other jersey natives loving the pizza, I felt good. I walked in and ordered four slices to go. they informed me they were making fresh pies and they’d be out shortly. no problem. my hopes stayed high. the pizza looked jersey like! another build up! but the build up and excitement collapsed when I tasted the pizza. the dough wasn’t cooked well, the sauce had no taste, and the cheese even had a weird taste. the pizza in general was bland. über disappointment, I will not be back.

First time here. I ordered the lunch special, 2 slices and a drink for $ 4.95. Pizza was delicious, came out quick, hot and tasted fresh. Seemed to be really nice people with a few regulars that came in while I dined. Will definitely be going back, can’t beat it !!!

Nice and clean, no wait on Thursday evening, but a little crowded on weekends, but worth your wait. Try the desserts, the Zeppoles and zepponoli’s are amazing!

This is the new Cannizzaro’s. The previous owner of Cannizzaro’s has opened this place and it is as great as Cannizzaro’s. New Haven style pizza is back in my life!

Absolutely delicious pizza! Not sure what the other reviewer looked at but their 18″ pie is $ 13.95, perhaps they saw one of their specialties and got confused? Authentic NJ pizza that will leave you wanting to return every day! Delicious chicken parm sub, I always try that and a large plain pie as my litmus test and they passed with flying colors! Now with the bypass open it is MUCH easier to get into town during the week!

We wanted to like this place. We just can’t give a good review.
The décor is seriously lacking, but aside from that, the food is just bad. Ordered two subs — they were each priced at $ 8. They come with NO sides! My tuna sub was anemic and my sister’s cheesesteak had zero flavor. We could have ordered fries to go with our subs, but the fry order was $ 4.95.
We debated ordering a pizza, but felt that$ 17.95 for a large pizza was ridiculous.
Seriously inflated prices, not good food, very disappointing.
The one positive thing I can say is that our waitress was attentive and very sweet.
Hope the owners listen to feedback — they are in a tough location and they will need to serve better food at lower prices to stay open.

The pasta «pie-​zano» style is hands down the best pasta I’ve ever had! The ingredients are fresh and you can tell that they try to make it as best as possible every time. Also the fresh mozzarella is a great touch. Alex and the crew are all friendly, polite, and make you feel like family. The place is A-​1 when it comes to food, service, and environment! I will be recommending this place to everyone I know! !
