Great Veterinary practice. I always receive exceptional service no matter which vet I see. Their prices are reasonable and they are not pushy at all. I always get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. Very friendly staff.

Ok, I never write reviews but I have to sadly say I am disappointed. I have to say I’ve never seen such RUDENESS at a vets place. I had high hopes for this clinic but the the short blondish lady that is a receptionist and also helps in other ways is EXTREMELY RUDE and unhelpful.
I am always nice and with her I try to be extra nice but nope, that doesn’t help… it is sad.
I took a friend with me there once and he was in shock about the receptionist — he said, wow why are you putting up with this… when he saw how the receptionist got frustrated and rude because I ask her for my pet older records and then just a regular question.
Also in my experience whenever you have a question, etc you call your vet and the receptionist always takes your message and asks for you to the vet or the vet technician but not here… She gets annoyed and rude. That has been my experience time and time again. I don’t think I am going back here because of that reason… also my friend said he wouldn’t take his dig there… (he was shopping for vets back then).
other: I noticed this place is not as clean as other places but I was ok with it, last time the smell was too much for me I had to step outside while waiting because I felt I was gonna you know what.
And well this is my personal opinion based on the times I have been here.

I called last minute for an emergency just before closing but the receptionist could tell how concerned I was and had me come right in. Although my dog is 15 years old DR Melissa Mottonen showed so much compassion for my special girl. She treated us both with the utmost respect and concern. Their prices are very reasonable I highly recommend this office all the people working there were very professional and truly love animals. Thanks so much Doctor for being upfront and honest.

I had a wonderful visit with Dr. Ernat.
The doctor answered all of our questions. They were very helpful and happy to take care of our sick guinea pig.

It was a hectic week. Brought Chase, the pitt, home Wedesday (we live in Ohio), spent one night at home, then off to Rolling Meadows to tend to my dying grandfather. Called this vet and was extremely pleased that they could fit us in that day! I wanted to make sure this dog I just brought home from the shelter was in good shape, physically. I can’t remember the Dr’s name, but she was wonderful with us humans (5 yr old son & me) and Chase. She took a lot of time to answer questions, did what I considered to be a thorough exam, and gave a clean bill of health. I couldn’t have been more pleased. That was mid May. Today I scheduled an overnight kennel for Chase while we do the final arrangements for my grandfather in a couple weeks. The staff was kind over the phone (and had been in the office, too), and again, I was pleased they were able to board my dog on short notice. The fees are so reasonable! I again, am very pleased!

This place exceeded my expectations. I called in the morning and was able to get in the same day with my sick guinea pig, Sugar. We saw Dr. Ernat, and he was excellent. He was kind, empathetic, and handled my guinea pig with care. I was worried she might not survive the week, but Dr. Ernat prescribed antibiotics (Bactrim), and she is doing great. I honestly don’t think she would have recovered if we hadn’t seen Dr. Ernat, and my kids would have been devastated. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Always take my dog here. Took my daughters dog too yesterday. Dr. F is the best! The rest of the staff love and care for the animals too. A great place. And always appreciate their helpfulness.

Although my first impression of this place was not great, the doctor was amazing! They were able to squeeze me in on a busy holiday for an emergency service. Additionally, their fees for services are very reasonable.

… Yes, 5 stars! We had a great veterinarian in Chicago, but now we have found the best veterinarian I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We brought in our two dogs, Holly and Jack, as first time clients today. Our experience was incredible. We arrived about 10 minutes early, only got a glance at the waiting area and were immediately ushered into an exam room (we didn’t even get to step toward the waiting area. And, no, this was not a walk-​in nor an emergency visit. Every staff member came to see Holly and Jack. Holly even had a very disturbing, bloody accident on the floor and the only thing I saw in any of the staff’s eyes was genuine concern.
Dr. Mottonen was very thorough, calm and not playing the part of a «sales lady». I owned up to our dogs’ poor dental health and anticipated the usual guilt trip (we could never afford the dental cleanings at our previous vet) … Only no guilt trip came. Dr. Mottonen heard out every concern and worry and even conducted some tests there at the clinic right away. She is incredibly friendly and certainly patient with the client owners (let’s face it, a veterinarian’s job would be easier at times if the humans weren’t there).
The prices at this vet’s office are absolutely manageable. I’m excited by the prospect of actually having Holly and Jack’s teeth cleaned in the near future.
For as long as we are in Arlington Heights or the surrounding area, Arlington Park Veterinary Hospital will be our veterinarian office of choice; a BIG weight off of my mind as my «baby» Holly-​girl is now 13 years old.

Arlington Park Veternary Hospital has been caring for my families dogs since the ’80’s and they continue to do an amazing job. I moved away from Rolling Meadows about 8 years ago and as much as I did not want to I changed vets. I went through 3 vets before I finally gave up and went back to Arlington Park even though it was almost an hour out of the way. Their personal care for the animals and their well being is something lost on most vets today. While animal care is never cheap, nor should it be, Arlington Park is much more fairly priced than some of the vets I experience after my move. I remember I spent more on spring shots for my dog 2 years in a row than my girlfriend spends on vaccinating her horse. They have cared for 4 of my own dogs in the past as well as my current dog and would not hesitate to refer a friend to them.

We used for boarding and they were reasonably priced and very nice.

My two cats are extremely well cared for and genuinely liked by the staff and doctors at Arlington Park Veterinary Hospital. At every visit their interest in my pets’ well being is obvious. These animals mean a lot to me and I’ve been to other vets whose staff treat them like they’re on an assembly line. It’s actually fun to go for their regular visits and the surgical care provided when necessary has been great. You can tell they put the animal’s health first. It’s a friendly place, clean and they schedule appointments in a way that leads to very little wait time. As a bonus, they don’t seem to charge the exorbitant fees that many other area hospitals charge. All in all, always a great experience and ultimately, wonderful care for my cats.

This is a great Vet! Their vets on staff are very knowledgeable and caring, and their prices are reasonable. I have a dog that has a black cloud over him and constantly has issues and he has been treated here several times. Each time we have gone, they have cured Oscars issues and it didn’t break the bank to treat him. Best vet in the area.

We brought my dog kendi in, my mom called last minute and asked if they had time to see us. They were very accommodating and told us to come in. We filled out paperwork and saw the doctor within 10 minutes. The doctor came in and asked us why we came in, he checked her for fleas (shes been really itchy for the past two weeks) he said that she may have a secondary skin infection and prescribed her antibiotics. We also mentioned that she smells after a few days of getting a bath! He gave us a special shampoo for her also that helps with her oily skin.
This place was great, my mom said the bill wasnt as expensive as other vets in the area.

Rude staff, its like you are bothering them when you call to make an appointment. very over priced. I hope the DR gets new staff then I might be back.

As I have said before. We have been bringing both our cats and dogs here for at least 10 years. Dr Ernst is not only an outstanding VET, he is also has compassion for animals and humans. I thank GOD for him all the tlme. Kathy and the rest of the staff are also excellent. Sean

This place is certainly the least expensive vet I’ve taken my dog to in a while — and I’ve never had a «bad» experience here. However, I agree with the other reviewer who said the office staff is always RUDE! I feel like they are certainly lacking in «good customer service» skills. Additionally, when I call in, they seem to have no clue of what’s going on. Example: I called to let them know the medicine they gave my dog was not working (they asked me to call if it wasn’t) and then they proceeded to ask me what he was taking?! Um. You prescribed it — you tell me!!) For now, I continue to go here because they know my dog — but I’m pretty sure we’ll be looking for a new vet, pretty soon.

If you love your animal, take them somewhere else. First, the people here are so crabby. And it isn’t a one time I’m having a bad hair day crabby, it is ALL the time. I dread even calling here and having to talk to them. Second, they are not good at all with big dogs. I’m not even sure the vet likes dogs, but he definitely doesn’t like my big dogs.
We have 3 big dogs and they have managed to make 2 of them cry out in pain due to inadequate lifting techniques. They hurt my male, who already had a horribly sore back from (we think) falling down the stairs, by not having enough people to lift him up on the xray machine (he is 145 lbs.) and refusing my help. They also hurt one of my girls (who has two fake knees after tearing both ACLs — a fact which they are well aware of) by trying to lift her up onto the table to express her glands. It is COMPLETELY unnecessary to get her on a table to do this, she does perfectly fine standing on the ground and you do not lift a 110 lb. dog unless necessary. Also, one time when they took her back for blood work, etc. they cut her nails without even asking me. Now, I know this doesn’t sound like a big deal, but we much prefer to take care of her nails on our own. Her quicks are long, and if you aren’t familiar with her then you are going to cut to her quick — which they did. If they had simply taken 2 seconds to ask me if I wanted her nails done I would have politley replied no.
We go to Deer Grove now and are much happier with Dr. Lang.

. After going to another vet hospital closer to my house who always charged me a fortune for anything done to my pets and dealing with staff that weren’t very nice, I was relieved to find this one.
Dr. Ernat is the best vet I’ve ever met, the staff here is incredibly caring and nice, and they charge reasonable prices for all their services. They also made the passing of my beloved rabbit a lot easier. The hospital sees cats and dogs as well. I would highly recommend this vet hospital to anyone like me who had trouble finding a good vet for their exotic pets.

We found this hospital from the House Rabbit Society of Chicago’s website. And this is really the best hospital that knows how to treat exotic pets around the neighborhood. Caring staff and the price they charge is unbelievably cheap.
