The Obedience & Grooming Center, located in Rolling Meadows, IL, offers dog grooming and training at reasonable rates. Mary, our owner, has been an experienced dog groomer for over 20 years in the northwestern Chicago suburbs. We know that your dog is an important part of your family. We promise to treat your pet like he or she is part of our family too!

History

Established in 1977.

The Obedience Center has been a part of the Northwest Community since the 80’s. Positive reinforcement techniques with some corrections create a results driven program that keep people coming back! We have trained numerous repeat customers that bring their new dogs to our facility for training.

My associate Lecia Conroy and I have some 50 years of experience with dogs between us, and have both been involved in breeding dogs for decades. We are experienced in all phases of caring for our beloved companions, from birth to the end of the line. We have the experience to help you raise a dog you can live with.

I also have 30 years experience as a dog groomer. Hours are by appointment. Prices are reasonable, so give me a call and set something up!

Business Owner

I have been involved with dogs since the early 70’s. I worked as a licensed Vet Tech in St Louis before moving to the Northwest Suburbs in the mid 80’s. I started grooming dogs for Kay Getzloff, owner and founder of the Obedience Center, at her facility the Orange Poodle. I eventually came to work as a groomer at The Arlington Park Veterinary Hospital and still maintain a presence there. I bought The Obedience Center from Rose Machen in 2000 and have tried to maintain the successful aspects of the training program while incorporating new training techniques and adapting techniques to fit individuals needs.

I have also bred Champion Doberman Pinschers since the late 70’s under the name Ravenswoods. The highlight of my career was breeding the great producer Ch Ravenswoods Azure Sky, RA. Blue has produced 99 Champions to date and is recognized world wide as one of the greatest producing Dobes of all time.
