I really like the Delta Sky Club and it was the first time that I had taken the opportunity to sit relax while waiting for my flight. If you have the ability to be part of this club I would encourage you to sign up right away. Very friendly very relaxed and they never make you feel rushed. And they make a mean gin and tonic with two olives.

Your typical Delta lounge, not a great selection of food or drinks and the employees are sleepy, you almost apologize when you check in it’s hard to find at the end of the terminal, but less crowed that the big lounge they have at the main entrance

The staff is really friendly and the place is well maintained. I loved being able to serve myself with food and drinks. There are televisions, outlets for charging, free WiFi, printers, mini cubicles for working, showers, bathrooms etc… This was my second time in this specific lounge and great for long layovers. I have never had an issue with anyone or anything here. I love the Starbucks coffee machines… The club needs to add to-go cups for coffee and some of the chairs need to be replaced or refurbished. If I fly through Detroit again I would hang out in the lounge. A drink in the airport is $ 10.00 and the cost of food even more. If you use your Delta AMX you generally get 20% back from AMX.

This was one of the dirtiest Sky-Clubs I have been in. Now what I think is a funny story. I have a three hour layover in Detroit. I went to the Sky-Club and found an area which is empty. There are glasses and paper plates everywhere. I set my stuff down and go get something to eat and drink. When I get back I sit down at the only chair which doesn’t have debris stacked around it. The garbage was a good deterrent, other travelers did not bother to stop in. After about an hour someone came in and started to pick up the trash. In the middle on the floor was a disgusting table with nasty spills all over the top. It was close enough that I threw my boots on it and stretched out. Now we are two hours into my stay. Some Sky Club elderly woman comes over and tells me because of infection control I can’t have my feet on the table. She got to be kidding me? WTF? If they cared about infections, they would have some disinfectant and walk around the Sky-Club and wipe off the tables and counters once in a while. No one did that the entire time I was in there.

Delta Airlines has long be known for its less than stellar customer service, rude employees, and ever changing rules which makes it impossible to get any true value from their frequent flyer program. NOW, this totally self consumed company has the nerve to charge its most loyal customers a $ 30 fee to bring a guest with them into their airport lounge the call their Sky Club, AND if you happen to have a layover, they charge $ 30 again that same day! That’s $ 60 per day per guest! This is what happens with monopolies where bigger companies buy up and merge all the smaller companies in an industry. The Consumer gets screwed! But as long as we support them and continue to use their service they will continue to abuse the very people that keep them in business and allow them to reap their Billions of dollars of profits! #deltasucks #dontflydelta #deltaterriblecustomerservice

By far the best Delta Sky Club I’ve been to, and well worth the cost of a one-day pass. For any layover over 3 hours, or on a particularly busy day(looking at you, Atlanta during a thunderstorm), I always find solace — and a good buzz — at the Sky Club. Do the math, and I think you’ll find the same. You can pay $ 10/beer at any bar in the airport. Let’s say it takes you half an hour to drink a beer and you hang out for two hours, that’s $ 40. And you know you’re going to want a snack or two with that. And boom, the Sky Club has now paid for itself in food and drink alone. That doesn’t even factor in the pricelessness of instant access to friendly Delta hosts. They’re not being accosted by angry travelers all day, so they’re much less stressed and so are you. It’s a more pleasant experience for all of us. Once you’re in, it’s open bar — pour your own drinks. Other Sky Clubs I’ve been to have a bartender who tries to get you to pay for the«premium» cocktails. Here, I enjoyed several glasses of a very nice California Cabernet Sauvignon in peace. Additionally, my wife invented a new rum cocktail for herself, too. Lots of snacks, too, including a choice of soups and various other nibbles. The whole place is big, open, and quiet. Find a corner and relax. Now, dude, here’s the best part, check it: I took a shower in an airport! How epic is that?! That’s it, there’s no better way to prepare for the misery that is overnight international travel. Allow me to digress — it still sucks even if you’re in business class flat-bed seats(at least, if you’re 6’2″ and too tall for the flat bed). So thanks, Sky Club, for making travel comfortable again.

This club is great, smaller than the others in Detroit airport. that makes it better, in my opinion. Never been here when the place is full of travelers. Beer and wine is plentiful and booze is always stocked. Perfect place to chill.

Delta has three or four SkyClubs here in the Detroit airport. One each at the ends of the A terminal upstairs where the tram departs, one in the center concourse and one over in the B/C terminal. Today, I visited the A South SkyClub. Nice, quiet, well stocked. At 7:00AM, a reasonable breakfast was laid out with bagels and a toaster. No bartender on duty that I saw, which was okay because there is a decent self-serve liquor station with a few bottles of spirits, some wine and a large fridge with mixers.(I watched one woman decimate the Bloody Mary supplies by nabbing several celery stalks, so there’s that too.) Workstations with desk areas and power supplies, comfy chairs near a large television set, free wifi. There are even club angels who can help you with your travel plans if you need assistance! What else do you think you need?

Layovers suck, plain and simple however Delta Sky Club is one of those things that makes air travel a little less painful. One a recent 3 hour layover I stopped into the Delta Sky Club to catch up on some work in one of their dedicated work stations, and who am I kidding to also enjoy a free beer or two with some light snacks. This Detla Sky Club was easily located upstairs from my gate, which made access a breeze. I was quickly greeted by a friendly Delta employee who took my information and informed me of the layout of the Sky Club. This location was private work stations, quiet area, private bathrooms, and a more open area with a fireplace and your free refreshments and snacks.

The Sky Club terminal is located in the 2nd floor across from the tram stop. It’s a convenient stopping point for long waits for flights. There’s snacks, beverages, and coffee. During peak times, it can be fairly crowded. If you are a Diamond, Delta Reserve, or a paying member, you already get the drift. If not, peak in the door as it opens and closes to see what it’s about!

While I do like the décor in this SkyClub, secretly tucked away on one extreme end of the A concourse in the McNamara Terminal, its entrance hidden upstairs by one of the tram stops by A18, I think if you are planning on more than 30 minutes in the Club, you should head to the A/B Main SkyClub by the big water fountain. The club has very friendly front desk staff, and nice«Northwest Airlines» days décor, plus really cool nooks and hideaways, but the problem for me here is always the layout; they are victims of the real estate here. It’s like a long, narrow hallway, and the dead-end leads you to the only real area where the snacks, drinks, etc. are offered. At least there’s a self-serve Coca-Cola products fountain and a self-serve domestic beer tap, with a couple of choices. Big bottleneck as patrons clamor over the drinks(and self-serve liquor) and snacky options. Good luck finding a comfortable seat and power outlet at peak times, but internet is reliable and you’re close to the far end of the A-gates — A1-A24.

For Sky Clubs is club is still in the old Northwest style. More earth tones, use of dark wood and stone. The clubs at either end of terminal A are set up the same, long and skinny. This club still had the self serve drink station which i really appreciate! There is nothing worse than not having any cash and the person behind the bar being mad at you. The selection has gone down a bit. Gordon’s gin and vodka have replaced Skyy. Bud and Miller Lite have replaced my beloved Heineken. The white wine is a Chardonnay which is rarely as cold as it should be. The snacks this time are a peppered crackers and Monterey Jack cheese. I love the butterscotch cookies they have right now! If you are trying to make a Bloody Mary here is a good tip, use a beer glass instead of the high ball glasses. You get more ice!

Vodka and Gin are gordon’s. Beer is bud. Wifi is lousy. I’ll stick with a concourse bar

This is one of the old Northwest Worldperks clubs. I like the way they have this set up. Get your own snacks and best yet — - make your own drinks. The hours of this club are a bit different than the main area(center terminal). A bit quieter as well.
