If I could give 10 stars I would. My family and I have been going to Lima’s for probably over 10 years now. My dad drives on average 200 – 400 miles a day and has never had issues with his car or his safety because these guys take great care of him. I drive quite a bit myself but I always feel safe in my car after it’s been serviced at Limas. Super trust worthy and honest people. Mike and Chris always know exactly what’s going on with my car and take care of it as fast as possible. Love it here. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a real mechanics they can rely on.

I know very little about cars and vehicle repair is often beyond my scope of knowledge. That is why finding the a trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic is key to someone who tries to hold on to his family vehicles for as long as they can.
I met the Mike Bruni in passing and when I noticed that he was a mechanic that owned a vehicle like my own I asked a couple of questions.
First it had to do with a broken car door latch that I was experiencing in my 15 year old truck. On the spot Mike assessed the situation, quoted me a ballpark price and said to drop by the shop any time.
A few days later I did, half expecting for the price he quoted to change, and to my pleasant surprise Mike honored his ballpark price, gave me a time window for the repair to be done and in a short time I was on the road with a functioning vehicle.
I appreciate those who know their business, who are looking out for the best interest of their client and who you can gladly shake their hand after the work is done.

Great service and very well priced. The owner Mike is the best! They fixed my battery and did an oil change in an hour. I showed up with no appointment and they still fit me in!!! I would recommend them to anyone! This will be our new go to shop!

I’ve had my Unilocal account for a while now and have not written a review up until now. But when someone saves me over $ 550, you know I’m going to have to write a little something about it!
I recently purchased a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder and was starting to do service and maintenance to the vehicle. I purchased four new tires and went to the West Covina Firestone — Complete Auto Care Center to buy a lifetime wheel alignment service. During the alignment, I was told by the technician that I had two problems: 1) the right lower control arm had a bad bushing, hence it was unable to align correctly and 2) the technician showed me that I had an oil leak and was told it came from the engine oil pump. As a result, I ordered a lower control arm and an engine oil pump from the Nissan dealer which amounted to over $ 550 (as I was instructed to do in order to alleviate my car’s problems). That same day, I went to have my transmission flushed at Lima Auto Repair. As I spoke to Mike Bruni, I briefly mentioned the information that was given to me by the West Covina Firestone. While Mike was performing my trans flush, he inspected those items and told me that the lower control arm bushing looked fine and that the oil leak resulted from the engine oil cooler, not the pump. He informed me that the cooler was resealable, thus making my purchases at the Nissan dealer unnecessary. I was advised by Mike to get a second opinion on my alignment so I went to a Firestone Complete Auto Care Center in Baldwin Park to have it rechecked. The technician there found nothing wrong with the bushing and the vehicle was able to align correctly. I had Lima Auto Repair reseal the engine oil cooler and thanks to Mike, I was able to return the unnecessary parts from the Nissan dealer in sufficient time for a refund. Luckily for me, Mike was professional enough to let me know what was wrong with my vehicle even though I was only taking my car for a transmission flush. I highly recommend Lima Auto Repair because they are thorough, reasonable, and trustworthy.
Also, I’m so thrown aback by the way West Covina Firestone treated me that I’m not even going to bother reviewing them on Unilocal but instead will call their corporate office and let them know how one of their certified service mechanics left me with an inaccurate car alignment (which was paid for) and misinformation that almost cost me over $ 550.

Im sorry but I was a loyal costumer for a couple years until recently. The guys that work there are cool and nice but that place is ultimately a rip off. They told me it was going to be $ 600 for some work done and I got another quote down the street for once because I happen to be really strapped for cash lately and wanted to investigate and the other place is only going to charge $ 200 instead for everything! I was astonished and I even think they have ripped me off before and I am currently trying to find my old receipts to investigate that further… The oil changes are expensive too I realized compared to other places and since its next to the collision place I think they feel they can jack up the prices without giving any other alternatives. Makes you wonder if they even care that much for their costumers… Always do your own research fyi ppl!
