Clark Frame & Wheel Alignments

I came to the shop after replacing the track bar on my truck. I wanted the TRACK BAR adjusted to center the axle, along with toe and drag link adjusted. I made this very clear over the phone and in person. I got a call back saying the alignment was done but the axle was off to one side and part of my suspension was rubbing. They wanted more money to adjust the track bar.
The track bar was the very reason for my visit in the first place!
At this point they wanted $ 85 for a diagnosis (ball joints) that I didn’t ask for and an «alignment» I didn’t need. I put that in quotation because they didn’t even adjust caster or camber or even set the axle centered under the frame! $ 85 and wanting more to adjust the track bar. Case who was politely debating with me put me on the phone with Tony. Tony was loud, over bearing, and continued to talk over me while I tried to explain my frustration. When I told him I was dissatisfied with the service and would pick the truck up and leave a review on Unilocal he literally yelled at me, accusing me of threatening him. I explained the situation from start to finish one last time, this time uninterrupted and he said, «Fine ill do it» and then hung up.
While I do feel their strategy for up-​selling is sometimes unethical and I was treated somewhat unfairly, the main thing that bugs me was Tony’s behavior over the phone. I did not deserve to be talked down to and I had a valid cause for concern.
Aside from the poor customer service and aggressive behavior from Tony I am happy with the end result of their work, although it did make for a very stressful day.
Tips: Check and replace any worn items before you go to alignement. If you have an issue, even if it does not pertain to the work requested they will deny service and charge you a diagnostic fee without performing any actual work!
Check repair prices against OT Cars down the street. Ball joint replacement at Clarks was $ 500 vs $ 280 at OT Cars.

Not a lot of places will even look at old VW’s, these guys were great to deal with and my bus drives way better now!

Case and Tony are the best in the business. I’ve brought several cars to them over the years for alignment and I have yet to be disappointed with there work. They are true professionals both in the way they do business with there clients and the quality work they do on vehicles.

Clark was recommended to me in 2008 by a co worker. I brought in my Jetta and left feeling like I got a new car and the price was VERY reasonable. I now take all my vehicles here and drive way out of my way now to go here because they are that good. I highly recommend them.

Very satisfied with my experience at this shop. Owners of older cars and trucks are very aware that even the smallest job can end up more complex than expected. When taking my old Toyota in for bushing replacements, they found both my rear springs were cracked and broken. Parts are hard to come by in this model, but they went the extra mile to find good used parts at a great price. Very friendly staff and my truck drives much more smoothly (even a bit of a lift).

Had a 2006 Ford Mustang that needed front end work and alignment after receiving damage from a small curb accident. Right from the greeting at the front counter I knew I was at the right place. Super friendly staff and ownership. Professional and the type of shop that does meticulous work to get it right, without following you to the bank. Prices are reasonable and paperwork for work performed is easy to read and match the original quote.
I’m happy to say that my Mustang is back on the road and drives great. Steering is solid and alignment corrected to factory specification — thanks Clark Frame!!! Highly recommended!

This place is great! I had taken my Camry here after we had taken it to Firestone three times for the alignment. They had the problem solved and executed the resolution within minutes. Great customer service and customer rapport! 5 stars! Very descent price, too. They are the real deal.

I will NEVER take my cars ANYWHERE ELSE!!! I have finally found a Knowledgable, Trustworthy, Honest, Ethical repair shop with human beings that treat others as such.
My 2010 Prius was making a weird squeeking noise up front. My husband took it to Roseville Toyota where they proceeded to charge us $ 134 to tell us the «inner tie rod rack» needed to be replaced, and quoted us $ 1,700+ for the repairs. It only has 42,800 miles. We had purchased it used from a private dealer and I was concerned that perhaps there were more problems and I wanted a second opinion and someone to look the vehicle over that I could trust. I found Clark Frame on Unilocal and chose them because of the great reviews. It was a Saturday and I sent an email requesting a quote. I got a message early Monday morning from Tony asking me to call so he could get more information. I told him what was happening and he agreed to take a look.
I went there the next morning at 10:00 am. They got me right in and were skeptical about it being a tie rod, but heard a sound. Tony then took me with for a test drive and before we left the parking lot, he heard what I was talking about and turned right around.
About five minutes later, after exploring the wheel and hearing the «loose» sound, Tony discovered the real issue – a loose bolt on the wheel arm. He tightened the bolt and fixed the problem… saving me thousands of dollars and earning him a customer for life. We then took the car back out and onto the freeway just to confirm the problem was resolved – it was.
I cannot tell you how relieved I was to hear my car was okay and how much I appreciate the two owners who run their shop with courtesy and decency. They truly have earned a customer for life.

What a wonderful place to go. Didn’t even feel like an auto related business. Called them to ask about their services and pricing. Very courteous and clear in their pricing. Made an appointment. Showed up (30 minutes early). Fortunately, the appointment before me was also 30 minutes early. They were quick and nice. Shop was so very clean. They gave me a printout of the results (before/​after) which I promptly took home to the hubby to decipher. I’d totally recommend this place over any of those chain stores (which we had taken our car to before, and they didn’t fix our problems). Feel confident that if you go, that you will be treated well and get what you pay for.

We have had the best experience here, and have taken 3 cars to them for service. They are completely honest about what services are needed, and don’t try to add on things you don’t need done. I was convinced that something was «wrong» with my car, and my husband disagreed. We took my car here, and it ended up that nothing was wrong, and no problem has surfaced yet. My paranoia could have cost us thousands at other shops. Thank you for excellent, efficient, and honest service!!!

All the reviews about this place are correct. The guys here are very polite, friendly and helpful. Great customer service! I told them I could only come in on my lunch break and they made me an appointment right away. When I got there they immediately greeted me and went to work on my car. The alignment only took 30 minutes and was $ 55. This is significantly cheaper that the Toyota dealership.
I would highly recommend coming here for your frame and alignment services.

Although tucked away, I found them easily. They got me in as promised, rate was what they promised & done on time as promised. Great customer service & I love the way my car is driving again.

I’ve taken my car here twice. I was first referred by a former co-​worker of mine that now works at Gamboa’s. Both times I’ve come they have offered the best quote that I received, and their customer service is great. They seem really genuine and have been respectful to me as a customer, always explaining what is going on.
