CrossFit Genesis

CrossFit Genesis — now called AliveTribe Fitness… I love this place.
I am a 50+ (now former) couch potato who decided that I wanted to have adventures again. I decided on a CrossFit model, because, although I know how to use a gym, I was no longer motivated to do it on my own. I wanted to show up and have someone just tell me what to do.
I checked around and this gym resonated with me. They provide 1:1 coaching until all the moves are mastered and a fitness level achieved so that participants can keep up in class without injuries due to poor form. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, which is important when you walk in the door already feeling nervous because of lack of fitness. They have scaled movements to accommodate my bad shoulder and arthritis.
I have gained strength and confidence. I am so glad I joined!

Personal training at half the price of 24 hour fitness or your typical personal trainer. Need I say more?

John is the biggest asshole over here; I called and received awful customers service. Johns the owner over there and he should be setting the example. He doesn’t care about people. He only cares about himself. I would not recommend anybody to wast there time here. There are better cross fit gyms in the area.

I absolutely love this gym. John is a fantastic coach and the overall feel that I get when I come here is that we are working together as a team. No matter who is there at each workout, they will cheer you on, even if they are a complete stranger! I feel a sense of community when I go here, and I pushed to do my best each workout, and I feel like I had accomplished something every time I finish a WOD. This gym has made a huge impact on my fitness, health and life!

By far the best CrossFit gym in Roseville. The coaches and community are awesome and motivating. It doesn’t matter what your skill level is, CrossFit is for everyone. CrossFit Genesis has made a profound impact on my life and fitness level. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun approach to fitness.

I went to CFG for a year before I moved. They are the thing I miss most about the Sacramento area. I love this community of people and coaches. They changed my life and I am grateful to each member, coach, and supporter of CFG!!! I go back there whenever I visit my hometown. I strongly urge everyone to try out CFG!!!
