Donna is amazing! Where to begin… First of all, you want someone is is easy going and fun. Donna is just that. I called around and spoke with a few pricey wedding photographers. They were cheesy and not what I had in mind. When we met Donna, she seemed just like a friend I want to hang out with and drink wine. Her pictures definitely have an artsy look to them, and I liked that. We first did a short session with her in downtown Roseville to get a pic for a frame to be signed by our guests. That was one of the funniest experiences of all the wedding planning/​things to do. My now hubby, Donna and I had a great time taking pictures and she made us very comfortable.
The day of the wedding she was there well in advance taking pictures of the décor and making sure everything was set. We love our wedding pictures. She captured the day beautifully. Since then, she’s sent us a Christmas decoration for our first tree as a married couple with a couple of our wedding pictures.
I would definitely call Donna before anyone else. She reasonably priced, very easy to work with, and does an amazing job. We will be calling her in the further for all our photography needs.

Our first time to use Donna Beck Photography. We found a winner! We know who to call from now on. Her work is stunning, creative and fun… love the white couch in the park for family photos. She did lovely Senior Portraits for my teenage daughter… again, the location by the trees was stunning. Donna has a warm, comfortable personality from the moment you meet her, she works fast, and you get all the pictures she took in an email to download as yours — in just one week. What more can you ask for?

I’m an event planner, so when planning my own wedding, I was incredibly picky when choosing every vendor. I researched so many dozens of photographers, I stopped counting early on. We wanted to invest in someone with breathtaking, magazine-​level quality, but they all seemed to charge an arm and a leg. We are so grateful to have found Donna, who’s truly exceptional: she offers top-​notch quality, but with reasonable prices. When you meet her, too, you can absolutely tell that she does it out of passion, not for the money!
From day one, Donna was a pure joy to work with. She is so genuine and friendly, and her depth of knowledge and experience (not to mention her artistic eye!) is incredible. She had fantastic suggestions for scheduling/​timing, individual shots, and exactly where to take the best pictures around our venue. Throughout the whole day itself, she was calm (and calming for everyone around her), cheerful, efficient, flexible, and helpful with everything, not just the photography.
Most importantly, her photos are BREATHTAKING! Our wedding day felt so magical to us, we didn’t think any photos could capture that feeling — but Donna’s did. The incredible lighting, vibrant colors, genuine expressions, and precious moments that she caught… wow. The results she gave us are truly magical. We just can’t find anything negative to say about her, and we cannot possibly recommend her more highly!

We have recently worked with Donna on our wedding photography and a newborn photo session. She really is a WONDERFUL person and photographer. She’s kind, professional, talented, artistic, and simply a delight to work with.

Donna is AMAZING. She did our engagement session and our wedding and I felt like I had known her my entire life. She made us feel so comfortable and truly cares about getting the perfect shot. She did the exact right amount of artsy vs straight on poses. Everyone was so impressed with our pictures.

We didnt even discuss it, we just knew. No one else would be able to compare and boy are we glad we booked her. Not only did she take amazing shots at the wedding, but the woman helped me get my dress on. Her second shooter Coree was just as lovely and helpful. (I highly recommend picking the package with the second shooter)
When we got our wedding pictures back, I cried. They were breath-​taking. She was able to capture all the love and happiness I felt that day. She got private moments without being intrusive. Sometimes after a wedding, I’d heard that brides get post-​nuptial blues and I have to say I was a little sad it went by so quickly and that it was over after a year of planning. Looking at our pictures made me feel better, I can relive it over and over again with the story telling Donna did in her pictures.
Donna is truly an artist. I can’t say enough good things about her and either can my guests. My guests raved during the wedding about how fun Donna & Coree were and when they saw the pictures, people couldn’t stop gushing about how amazing Donna was at her craft.

Before my daughter was born, I researched many different photographers in the Sacramento/​Folsom/​Roseville area who specialized in newborn portraits. I have to say that Donna was the first one to respond to my e-​mail the same day (and it was on a weekend!). When I spoke to her on the phone she was so sweet and easy to talk to. I definitely did not feel like I was talking to someone who does photography as a business — more like this was her hobby and she wanted nothing more than to shoot my daughter when she was born!
Donna is even sweeter in person that she is on the phone! I really had no idea how tough it could be to shoot a newborn (they’re fussy/​crying/​not sleeping), but Donna is so patient. I kept on apologizing and she told me that we could take as long as we wanted to get the right pics :). For that alone — I am so grateful. Most photographers and studios will put a time limit (anywhere from 1 – 2 hours) on the photo shoot and sometimes that just isn’t possible with a newborn.
I can’t recommend Donna as a photographer enough! She is so sweet and patient and her prices are very reasonable. I can’t wait to have more family portraits done in the near future!

We used Donna Beck Photography for our wedding last month. I was so happy that we used Donna as the pictures turned out fantastic. We first met with her during our engagement shoot and immediately fell in love with her as a person and a photographer. She is very sweet and caring, and really took the time learn what our style was. Donna is very creative and knows just the right angles to take the pictures. Once we received our engagement pictures we knew we were in good hands for the wedding day. During our wedding day she showed up early and stayed later than was planned. She made sure to get pictures of everything from start to finish. Every picture Donna took turned out amazing and I would strongly recommend her to anyone who does not want to be disappointed.

I’ve worked with Donna on several occassions on different projects as a makeup artist. She is so easy to work with and is warm, talented, and fun! She’s professional, always on time, and takes the time to listen to what the client wants. I just can’t say enough good things about her! It is truely a blessing to work with such talent as Donna. I had two daughters graduating this year, and was luck enough to find Donna Beck to do the senior photos. She did an absolutely wonderful job for both girls. They are both quite different, and she took extra time to make sure they’re photos represented them each individually.
She has a very warm and friendly personality which made the girls feel very comfortable and at ease during their sessions.
Turn around time on all the photos was extremely quick.
I plan to use Donna for all my future photography needs, including my younger daughter’s senior photos who will graduate in a couple years!

I just recently used Donna Beck photography for a huge family event. Donna is truly an amazing photographer, professional, and super sweet. Our event was so special to us and Donna gave us creative fun ideas to memorialize that evening. She does not have a high pressure sales pitch which we did get from the other photographers that we interviewed. She was by far more reasonable in cost also. We got our pics and cd within one week of our event!!! She even helped me post pur video on facebook. We would highly recommend Donna for any event and we will most definitely use her again! She is the best!!!
